Disney's Marvel unit has filed five lawsuits in hopes of retaining full control and ownership of Avengers characters including Iron Man, Spider-Man, Dr. Strange, Ant-Man, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Falcon, Thor, and others. News of these filings was first reported by The New York Times.The litigation is a counter move after heirs of several Marvel authors filed dozens of termination notices with the U.S. Copyright Office, seeking to end Marvel's licenses to the characters. However, Marvel argues that the characters were created under "work for hire" arrangements, meaning that the heirs would have no valid claim to the copyrights.In the filing, Marvel draws a parallel to a case involving Jack Kirby, who co-created The X-Men, Thor, and Iron Man. Kirby's heirs similarly sought to reclaim copyright to his creations, but the federal courts sided with Marvel, finding that the characters were created under work-for-hire arrangements. Similar to Corrupt Taro, Corrupt Woodsmith is a test of the abilities and strategies you've developed up to this point in Kena: Bridge of Spirits. In Taro's case, that mostly has to do with the Spirit Bow, as most of the ways to weaken him and make the fight easier are related to sniping parts of his body. Similarly, Woodsmith is all about your recently acquired Spirit Bombs--this fight requires you to regularly use Kena's bomb abilities, so having a good grasp of how they work is vital for overcoming this fight.In the following guide, we go over how to best handle the Woodsmith and her fiery attacks. More so than the Taro boss fight, this battle will test you on your ability to keep track of your surroundings. Disney+ has dropped the first official trailer for Muppets Haunted Mansion, which will exclusively debut on the streaming service on October 8. According to a release, the special will also include three original songs titled "Rest in Peace," "Life Hereafter," and "Tie the Knot Tango," plus a cover of "Dancing in the Moonlight."The Muppets are no strangers to seasonal specials, and also no strangers to fun stunt casting with celebrity guests. Destiny 2's latest patch has gone live, bringing with it a few new changes to Bungie's RPG-shooter across multiple areas of the game. One of the biggest changes in Hotfix 3.3.0.3 is directed at the Trials of Osiris, the pinnacle PvP mode that returned earlier this month.While a number of changes have revitalized the multiplayer mode, the latest tweak will now ensure that special ammo is a rare resource again. Call of Duty: Warzone received updates today to make the Iron Trials '84 mode tougher, and developer Raven Software detailed bug fixes and weapon balancing in the September 23 patch notes.Iron Trials '84 ChangesWarzone's new hardcore battle royal experience has a few changes, with some set to make the mode an even greater challenge and reward high-tier players. Iron Trials '84's cash rewards for Contracts have been reduced for all four Contract types. The armor satchel, gas mask, and self-revive item drop rates have also been reduced.Additionally, the Specialist Token has been added as an item that can be purchased from the Buy Stations. However, this sounds like it will be a pretty expensive item to purchase in a mode that already rewards less cash. Raven Software says, "We suspect very few people will be able to say they’ve purchased a Specialist Token. However, we do feel there is an opportunity to provide high tier Players with additional impactful outlets for their hard earned resources. Halo Infinite's Big Team Battle maps will have "loot caves" that players can enter to score extra-powerful weapons and abilities to get an advantage on the battlefield.As part of the latest Halo Infinite multiplayer showcase, senior multiplayer designer Fernando Reyes Medina showed off one of these loot caves on the Fragmentation map. Players can use their personal AI to hack the loot cave, and once inside, they'll find powerful weapons and abilities. In the gameplay video, Reyes picks up a Gravity Hammer and an Overshield, but presumably there could be other items in there, too.The loot cave--which is only an internal name for the feature--will respawn over time, Medina confirmed. It looks like a neat little sub-objective for Halo Infinite BTB that will require some skill and strategy, too, as players must protect their AI for the time it takes to hack into the cave. Diablo II: Resurrected is now live, but it is unfortunately suffering from online stability issues. Following an earlier batch of maintenance, Blizzard has stated that it will take online servers down once again. This next batch of maintenance began at 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET and is expected to last for 45 minutes. [Update: According to the most recent update from Blizzard's Rod Fergusson, servers should be back online, but the developer is continuing to monitor the situation.]Players have reported being unable to create new characters or log in to existing ones.
