It didn't even take a full week for Grand Theft Auto VI's second trailer to break 100 million views on YouTube. Though the video can be seen in other places as well (Rockstar Games confirmed just last week that the open-world title's trailer hit almost a half-billion views after just a day), this is still an extremely impressive accomplishment.Rockstar released the newest Grand Theft Auto VI trailer out of nowhere on May 6. The video confirmed that the game's story will focus on Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, after the couple was seen a bit in the first trailer that debuted in late 2023. Another fascinating aspect of the second trailer is Rockstar noting that it was captured on PS5--as well as some PlayStation references.Days before the trailer dropped, Rockstar revealed that Grand Theft Auto VI would be delayed to May 26, 2026. Previously, the game was set to arrive this fall. However, there was always skepticism about that release window because Rockstar has a lengthy history of delays.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Luna Nights is quite different from traditional games in the franchise, however, as it’s a metroidvania. You’ll play as Sakuya Izayoi, who must work her way through a dangerous mansion, recovering lost powers as she attempts to escape and return home. The original release of Touhou Luna Nights is sitting with “Overwhelming Positive†reviews on Steam. Fans of metroidvanias will probably find it to be an excellent addition to their catalog. Part of what makes it so compelling is its time-warping mechanic, which can be used to solve challenging puzzles.Combat is quite exciting too, as you’ll use a “graze†system that gives your character additional benefits by narrowly escaping damage. And like any good metroidvania, you'll unlock a litany of useful skills as you work through its story. Give the game a look if you’re seeking a unique adventure to get you through the warm summer months.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Nintendo is recommending that Switch 2 owners turn on a "Stop Charging Around 90%" setting to prevent the system's battery from deteriorating as fast. The company shared the news--and an in-depth video explaining where to find the new setting--in a recent Nintendo Today post.Recently, Nintendo has been sharing system setting-related videos on its daily news app, including one showcasing the use of mouse controls on the home screen. The latest one highlights the Stop Charging Around 90% feature of Switch 2, with Nintendo explaining that "pausing the charge at around 90% reduces deterioration to the battery." A video showcasing how to turn on the feature was also included, and has since been shared by industry insider Stealth40K on X.Nintendo revealed Switch 2 stops charging at about 90% remaining battery.Pausing the charge at around 90% reduces deterioration to the battery. If “Stop Charging Around 90%†is turned on, the charging speed will slow down around 90%. pic.twitter.com/53Y0ORyFvd — Stealth (@Stealth40k) May 12, 2025 If you plan on frequently playing your Switch 2 over the long term, this is definitely a feature you should be aware of. Keeping the system's battery healthy is important if you want to maximize your handheld mode play time. Currently, Nintendo says the Switch 2's battery life lasts between two to six-and-and-a-half hours, depending on what games are being played. Nintendo also said the system will take three hours to charge, although that may be a bit shorter if this specific new setting is turned on.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Grave of the Fireflies: Limited Edition Steelbook (Blu-ray) $27 at Amazon | $22 at Walmart | Releases July 8 Preorder at Amazon Preorder at Walmart Preorder at Amazon (Standard) Preorder at Walmart (Standard) A classic Studio Ghibli movie will be back in print this summer. Shout Factory is releasing a Limited Edition Steelbook Blu-ray of Grave of the Fireflies on July 8. Unlike many Ghibli movies, the 1989 film directed by Isao Takahata isn't exactly suitable for the whole family. Rated PG-13 due to blood and gore, this dark journey is set during the final days of World War II in Japan. Grave of the Fireflies Limited Edition Steelbook is up for preorder at Walmart and Amazon. Grave of the Fireflies: Limited Edition Steelbook (Blu-ray) $27 at Amazon | $22 at Walmart | Releases July 8 For the extras, this 1080p Blu-ray version of the film comes with a deep dive into its storyboards, a look at several deleted scenes that were only produced as storyboards, image galleries, a collection of trailers, an interview with director Isao Takahata, and an interview with the late film critic Roger Ebert.Preorders at Walmart are available for $22, five bucks less than retail price for Ghibli Blu-ray Steelbooks. Amazon is currently charging full price for preorders, but we'd expect the retailer to match Walmart's price soon. If you order now from either retailer, you'll automatically get any discounts offered until your preorder ships. If you have Amazon Prime, full price at Amazon might be "cheaper" for you anyway. To avoid a $7 shipping fee from Walmart, you either need to be a Walmart+ member or spend $35.Grave of the Fireflies is also receiving a new standard edition Blu-ray with a plastic case and cardboard sleeve. At the moment, however, standard edition preorders are $25 at Amazon and Walmart, so you're better off grabbing the Steelbook Edition. Preorder at Amazon Preorder at Walmart Preorder at Amazon (Standard) While films produced by Studio Ghibli regularly focus on fantasy and contain environmentalism themes, Grave of the Fireflies is one of the rare exceptions here as it is based on the personal accounts of World War II survivor Akiyuka Nosaka. Grave of the Fireflies centers around 14-year-old Seita and and his four-year-old sister Setsuko, war orphans struggling to survive in the Japanese countryside food shortages, abusive relatives, and bombing raids by the Allied forces. The film pulls no punches with its subject matter, but it's still an all-time animated classic with a strong message at its core and fleeting moments of happiness during this bleak story. Just be prepared for an emotional rollercoaster with this movie.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto 6 has been delayed to 2026, but a remaster of GTA 4 could be in the works, and potentially out relatively soon. That's according to tipster Tez2, who wrote on the GTA forums that not only is a port of GTA 4 for modern consoles potentially in the works, but it might be released before the end of 2025."Someone at Rockstar hinted at the IV port," Tez2 said (Via ben on social media), adding that a port of the 2008 open-world game "may end up" coming out in 2025. This person added that the existence of a GTA 4 port might help explain why the Liberty City Preservation Project mod was taken down recently.Tez2 added that if Rockstar's schedules remain intact, a Max Payne 3 port might happen as well, and could release after GTA 4's reported port. Tez2 was responding to a question about these potential games coming to "modern" platforms, and that could mean PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Whether or not Switch or Switch 2 would be possible platforms is unknown.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

The future is looking increasingly digital for the Switch 2, as while the Nintendo hybrid console will still accept physical cartridges, many of these will serve as authentication keys to enable games to be downloaded onto the system. One company is pledging to ensure that the Switch 2 cartridge you buy from them isn't a Game-Key Card, as it wants to stick closely to its mission statement to always offer physical games to buyers. At PAX East 2025, Limited Run Games explained its stance on Switch 2 game cartridges to Boss Rush. The company--which specializes in releasing retro and modern digital games on physical media for PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch consoles--explained that nearly all of its games will be "true" physical releases and will contain the full game on the cartridge. The exception to this rule will be games released as a partnership and that don't fall under its numbered releases umbrella, as Limited Run will leave this decision up to the developer or publisher.Game-Key Cards are notably cheaper to produce as well, and Nintendo has confirmed that these won't be locked to your Switch 2 or tied to your account if you buy one and choose to resell it down the line. The reveal of Game-Key cards has been met with some criticism, as it looks like players will be forced to upgrade the internal storage capacity of their Switch 2--the console offers 256GB of storage, but a portion of that will be reserved for system files--with a pricy MicroSD Express card.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

The new Grand Theft Auto VI trailer illuminated many new details about the highly anticipated open-world game, including the fact that main character Jason is absolutely shredded. The trailer opens with a shirtless Jason climbing down off the roof after doing some repairs. A close-up of Jason reveals he's got cannons for arms, a built back, and some impressive chest gains. Of note: we think this is Jason, but it's not immediately clear that it actually is. But how much can Jason bench? A sequence later in the trailer shows Jason on the beach, throwing up some impressive weight. In the trailer, we see Jason benching what appears to be 275lbs. Using weight plates from the amazingly fictional brand "GAINZ," we can see the outer-most plate is 25lbs. The inner ones look like 45-pound plates, so all of that weight combined with the bar (we are assuming it's the standard 45 pounds) and that comes to a mighty 275 pounds. No matter what anyone says, a 275-pound bench is impressive. In gym and lifting culture, a bench press of 225 is the standard for what aspiring lifters hope to achieve. Given Jason's general buff-ness, I'm not surprised to see him putting up more, and having a well-rounded physique in general.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Nintendo has appointed Japanese designer Kazuhiko Hachiya to its board of directors. You might not know him by name, but Hachiya is known for his ambitious products, like a flying machine inspired by the works of Miyazaki and his own take on a real version of the hoverboard from the movie Back to the Future.Hachiya created the "OpenSky" project that led to the creation of a motor glider based on the Mowe plane from the Miyazaki anime Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. Hachiya succeeded in creating a glider version of the aircraft and a jet-powered version. Take a look at the plane for yourself in the video below. Before building his Miyazaki-inspired plane, Hachiya made wearable devices that would allow the wearers to see through each other's eyes. He also made an "AirBoard," which was billed as a real-life version of the hoverboard from Back to the Future.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com
