Like plenty of Call of Duty multiplayer modes before it, the Warzone battle royale seems to have a few hidden secrets or possible Easter eggs scattered across its massive map. Players have discovered bunkers you can open, telephones you can answer, laptops you can log into, and teddy bears.According to Reddit user BirchTreeMilk, the CoD Discord channel has been compiling a list of locations for where you can find computers, keypads, and phones that you can interact with on the Warzone map. So far, most of the items found are scattered around the edges of the map. On Twitter, Drift0r has a video of what one of the keypads looks like--it's connected to a mysterious vault and asks players to input a code when they approach. The tweet is embedded below.Warzone has hidden bunkers that you can only access via inputting a code. I smell an Easter Egg hunt coming soon! pic.twitter.com/JfGDKxCLmL — Drift0r (@Drift0r) March 11, 2020Some players have cited seeing teddy bears on the map as well, though there haven't been nearly as many reports and you can't interact with them like the keypads, telephones, and laptops. So it's not clear on whether they're also an Easter egg or just a random, reused asset for decorating the map. It seems like an odd decorative choice given the setting, but the idea isn't impossible.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

While the Disney+ original series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier recently had production halted due to COVID-19 (coronavirus) concerns while shooting in Prague, the series is still scheduled to release this August. During an investors shareholder meeting on March 11, attendees were treated to new footage from the upcoming show. What was shown reads a lot more like extended footage from what we saw during this year's Super Bowl. ComicBook attended the event and had descriptions of what they saw. The opening scene consisted of Zemo (Daniel Brühl) in prison, and he's visited by Bucky (Sebastian Stan). "Zemo tries to activate Bucky's Winter Soldier programming, which of course no longer works," ComicBook writes. "Bucky reveals that he has come to see Zemo because someone has restarted the Super Soldier program."Meanwhile, there is a new Captain America in the world. In the second scene, an announcer introduces the character to the world. This is actually John Walker AKA US Agent AKA another person who operates under the Captain America mantle.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Introducing gimmicks to horror movies may not be a revolutionary concept--in fact, it's practically a trope all its own--but that doesn't stop the A Quiet Place series from shining in its own, terrifying way. Set in a world beset by noise-hating, practically unkillable alien monsters, the first Quiet Place movie took an up close and personal look at one family's fight for survival with a baby on the way, which is maybe the absolute worst case scenario for a world where making any noise gets you brutally killed. That, of course, begs the question--how do you up the ante for the sequel while still maintaining the gimmick as it's been established? How does A Quiet Place Part 2 invent new scares when the series already explored the concept so effectively in the original?GameSpot spoke with long-time John Krazinski collaborator and A Quiet Place producer Brad Fuller to get the behind-the-scenes perspective on keeping the second movie just as horrifying as the first. "If it felt to an audience that we were going back to all the same beats in the first movie, I think that we would have failed in making this," he explained. "I think that people respond to when they see this movie is they love the family and they love this family surviving, and it's incumbent upon us to put that family in new and different situations where we see how they handle them."To engineer these moments, Fuller elaborated that they often looked for ways to up the stakes and the tension without necessarily leaning too hard on their alien creatures. "We have to continue figuring situations out. [There are major moments that are] scary and it has nothing to do with the alien, necessarily," he said. "Stuff like that, where you know the alien's around, but it causes a different effect, I think, is satisfying to an audience."Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Pokemon Go is giving players a ton of chances to catch Legendary Pokemon this month. Not only is Thundurus now available in the game, but developer Niantic is bringing back a few other Legendaries for special Raid weekends throughout March, and now it appears a new Mythical Pokemon is on the way.The official Pokemon Go Twitter account recently shared an image of fossilized footprints, teasing that "something Mythical is coming." You can take a look at the image below.👣 Something Mythical is coming, Trainers... pic.twitter.com/CyfjHwgv7v — Pokémon GO (@PokemonGoApp) March 11, 2020While Niantic has not yet confirmed the identity of the new Mythical Pokemon, the tweet and image are presumably referring to Genesect, one of the Mythical monsters introduced in the series' fifth-gen installments, Pokemon Black and White. Genesect is a Bug/Steel Pokemon from ancient times that was revived and modified by Team Plasma, Black and White's villainous group, and its footprints match up with those in the picture.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Bloodshot is one of those weird early '90s comic book properties with a dedicated niche fanbase, but little mainstream name recognition. Nevertheless, when director Dave Wilson first took a look at the script, he thought Valiant Comics would balk at the changes he had in mind. Luckily for him, he was wrong."I thought I was going to be told, 'We don't want to change it. We like what we've got,'" Wilson told GameSpot during a recent interview. "And they very much embraced my concept for it."That concept came from Wilson's love of a very specific subgenre of sci-fi. "I love comic books, but science fiction is my love, and there's a subset of science fiction I like to call science fact, which is very sort of [Jurassic Park author] Michael Crichton, and my favorite author, this guy called Daniel Suarez," Wilson explained.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Call of Duty: Warzone wastes little time in getting you into its particular take on battle royale gameplay. As the franchise's second crack at the popular genre following Black Ops 4's Blackout mode, Warzone is a much more refined and squad-focused take. It still features all the familiar mechanics and moments of intense action you'd expect from a game with 150 players vying for the top spot. However, Warzone introduces some surprising and somewhat unnerving twists to the formula that even some veteran players will need to keep in mind.In this quick guide, we've broken down some essential survival tips. From making smart choices with your minimal resources, being more of a team player, to learning how to fight dirty in the gulag; there's a lot to take in during your first rounds in the Verdansk map, and we're here to help.Survival Is Essential (Don't Give Up)As obvious of a tip this may seem, Warzone takes a slightly different approach to the loop of running, gunning, and quitting to join another game after getting gunned down. Between the Gulag system and the ample Buy stations scattered around the map, there are lots of chances for your squad to get back to fighting strength, and possibly make a tremendous comeback. While other squad-focused battle royale games inspire feelings of dread and aimlessness after your teammates have been wiped, you still have a decent shot at reviving them if you have the cash and can manage to evade danger--provided they haven't quit the game. Compared to other BR games, it's pretty easy to get teammates back in Warzone--but you can't do that if you're dead. So stay focused and calm, even when the odds are against you.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

The long-awaited battle royale Call of Duty: Warzone launched yesterday as both a mode for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and a standalone, free-to-play game. If you've been gunning for that number one spot, then you might be interested to know you can get some free bonuses for watching certain Twitch streams of Warzone. Activision and Twitch have partnered on drop-eligible streams to give away three free items to those who watch eligible Warzone streams for three hours--each hour, you get a new item. These items are an Airborne Commander shiny emblem at one hour, a one-hour Double XP token at two hours, and a Cataclysmic MP7 blueprint at three hours. All you need to do to be eligible for these rewards is link your Twitch and Call of Duty accounts and then watch a drop-enabled stream. You can tell which streams are eligible by looking right under the Twitch stream's title, category, and tags. There you'll see a message that says, "Drops enabled! Watch for a chance to earn loot." The easiest way to find drop-eligible streams is by going to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare directory and looking from there.Activision says you're able to watch multiple streamers at once, and your total watch time will be tallied up--so if you don't want to spend three hours watching one stream, watch three streams at the same time for one hour. Twitch streamers can become eligible for this promotion by linking their accounts and streaming to the Modern Warfare directory.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Call of Duty: Warzone players have discovered a secret helpful tip about the battle royale game. Twitter user Jack "CouRage" Dunlop posted a gameplay clip on Twitter that shows when each member of a Warzone squad uses the UAV killstreak at the same time, the location of every enemy on the map and the direction they are looking is revealed.A major component of Warzone--and all battle royale games--is moving around the map undetected, so this is a really big help if your team is able to pull it off. Of course it's not easy to do, as each member of the squad needs to either unlock or obtain the UAV killstreak.FUN FACT:Using 3 UAVS at once in Warzone reveals EVERY SINGLE ENEMIES LOCATION ACROSS THE ENTIRE MAP AND WHERE THEY ARE LOOKING for the duration of the UAVs...INSANE. pic.twitter.com/2wZ5InWpHt — Jack “CouRage” Dunlop (@CouRageJD) March 11, 2020Even if you're able to coordinate the triple UAV, there is no guarantee it will help your team win, though it should definitely give you at least a temporary advantage over your enemies.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com
