It's more background noise that you can handle while you work from home.Funimation has plenty of new content arriving to Hulu--which already has plenty of great anime on its service. Too Cautious Hero is added on April 6. A godness named Rista summons a hero to help battle in her video game-like world, which is exceptionally hard to beat. It's official. For the first time since 1984, WWE’s biggest annual show will broadcast live without an audience. WWE had confirmed that Wrestlemania 36 will not take place in Tampa, Florida, as originally scheduled. Instead, WWE is moving the show to its Performance Center, as it has done with both Smackdown and Raw. This is all in response to the growing COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, which has led to multiple conference, convention, and event cancellations. In a statement to GameSpot about the situation, WWE said, "In coordination with local partners and government officials, Wrestlemania and all related events in Tampa Bay will not take place. However, Wrestlemania will still stream live on Sunday, April 5 at 7 PM ET on WWE Network and be available on pay-per-view. Only essential personnel will be on the closed set at WWE’s training facility in Orlando, Florida to produce WrestleMania."Even though WWE was monitoring the situation, the company was planning to run all the Mania week events as of last week, stating "We remain committed to hosting Wrestlemania at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday, April 5, and like other entertainment properties in the U.S., there are currently no plans to cancel or postpone our upcoming events."Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Fast & Furious: Crossroads, the new Fast & Furious game announced during the 2019 Game Awards, could be facing a delay. The game was due to release in May 2020 to coincide with the release of the next movie in the series, F9, but that film has now been delayed into 2021 due to concerns over cinema attendance in the wake of COVID-19 (coronavirus).Codemasters is now assessing whether Crossroads will move its release date, too. In a statement, the company clarified that the launch of the game is now "uncertain," although that does not necessarily mean that it will be delayed. "Provided the company releases the F&F Game in Q1 of FY21, the Board anticipates that the later release date of the F9 Film will not have a material impact on its financial expectations for FY21," the statement says."A further announcement will be made in due course to confirm the release date of the F&F Game, following discussions with Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe and Universal Games and digital platforms," it continues.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Doom Eternal, which releases on March 20, will not have a traditional deathmatch mode, and is instead shipping with its own unique twist on multiplayer: Battle Mode. Deathmatch was the most maligned part of Doom 2016, but since the original 1993 Doom essentially created the mode, some might wonder why the latest game in the series would abandon it.Now, in an interview with Shacknews, Bethesda VP of public relations Pete Hines has explained why Doom Eternal has done away with deathmatch. Hines gave a decisive answer when asked if he was "concerned" about the mode not being in the game: "No. That mode is eons old."Hines recalls how deathmatch in Doom 2016 was handled by another studio, and ultimately did not fit with the tone of the game: "(It) felt really disconnected from the base game that everybody loved." Hines indicated that there was a disparity between single-player and multiplayer in that game. ""Whether you're playing by yourself or with others, we want it to feel like you're all playing the same game." That's as opposed to, "I'm a badass demon slayer in single-player, but when I go over to multiplayer, there are no demons, and it's just deathmatch."" "I don't know what that has to do with [Doom] other than that, well, a couple of decades ago we had that, so we should just have that again," he says.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com
