At the same time as Fallout 76's big Wastelanders DLC expansion goes live on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, developer Bethesda outlined two new events coming to the online action-RPG on April 7.The first one, titled Riding Shotgun, sees players protecting a Brahmin-led caravan from the ruthless Blood Eagle gang. Those that manage to protect one (or both) will receive some loot, XP, and Caps for their troubles. But also during the journey, players are tasked with collecting lost items from the Blue Ridge Caravan Company's previous attempts to get the convoy up the steep cliffs of the Savage Divide. Protect the caravan and secure the lost supplies, and you'll be rewarded handsomely with "better rewards" for the effort.Radiation Rumble is the second event, and it requires much more strategic planning as it tasks players with performing two jobs at once: defending scavengers in one place while collecting ore from another. Players will need to protect a bunch of scavengers from mysterious, glowing creatures. In addition to providing protection, you will also need to gather as much irradiated ore as possible to earn "gear, supplies, reputation, XP, Caps, or even legendary items." This event is recommended for level 50-plus players.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Sword players can encounter five-star G-Max Duraludon and Copperajah, while Shield players will find five-star G-Max Charizard and Garbodor.Gigantamax Pokemon are normally incredibly rare in Sword and Shield, making these events a good chance to add them to your collection. Microsoft has released a statement regarding the impact of COVID-19 on its upcoming exclusive Xbox and PC games. In short, no projects have been officially delayed, but Microsoft has acknowledged that its teams are facing "unique challenges and constraints" as they shift to a work-from-home setup.2020 is a crucial year for Microsoft and the Xbox brand, as the Xbox Series X is lined up to release this holiday with Halo Infinite as a launch title. Microsoft remains committed to launching the Xbox Series X this year--the company doubled down on that earlier in March. But what impact COVID-19 has on in-development games--such as Halo Infinite, Grounded, and Everwild, among others--remains to be seen.Echoing Xbox boss Phil Spencer's previous statements, Booty said the health and safety of its development teams is Microsoft's "top priority" currently. Id Software's return to Doom in 2016 was a phenomenal update of the franchise's classic shooter formula. It was fast and intense, full of huge monsters and scorching metal tracks, modernizing the feel of the 1990s original while adding some new-school flourishes. Where Doom 2016 brought the original Doom into the present, Doom Eternal feels like a big step forward in making the franchise something new: It's a master class in demon dismemberment after the introductory course to ripping and tearing of four years ago. Like its predecessor, Doom Eternal makes you feel like a monster-shredding badass--not just because you're the strongest Doom Slayer, but because you're also the smartest.Doom Eternal is all about effectively using the huge amount of murder tools at your disposal. Health, armor, and ammo pickups are at a minimum in Eternal's many combat arenas, and the game instead requires you to earn these by massacring monsters in a variety of different ways. Stagger an enemy and you can tear them apart with a brutal glory kill, which refills your health; douse a demon with the new flamethrower and they'll start to spout armor pickups; or cut them in half with the chainsaw to grab some much-needed ammo.In order to stay alive, you can't just run around blasting madly, expecting to tear through everything in your path; you have to run around blasting rationally to keep yourself at fighting strength. Keeping all your numbers up means continually rotating through your glory, chainsaw, and flamethrower kills while also making sure you're using the right gun for a particular job. Many of the toughest enemies now have weak points that allow you to snipe off their most lethal weapons, and you'll need to assess threats and knock them out quickly.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Jim and Pam's relationship on The Office was a sweet element that helped the show blossom. In the show's final season, the couple faces several challenges as Jim's new job takes him away from his family in Scranton, and Pam confides in Brian, a camera man who has been filming the in-world documentary about the office. But while the two work through their difficulties and stick together, the original plan was going to send them down a much rockier road. Collider is reporting that, according to Andy Greene's new book The Office: The Untold Story of the Greatest Sitcom of the 2000s, Jim and Pam were going to be split up during the season, before eventually reuniting in the finale. The book says that Jim's actor John Krasinski had raised the possibility of their characters going through a split to showrunner Greg Daniels before the filming of the final season, but the DNA of this idea goes back much further. One of the show's writers, Warren Lieberstein, remembers the idea being floated during a meeting around Season 5. "I think Mindy [Kaling] was the first or one of the first champions of it," he said. "The idea was to introduce some romantic triangle with Jim when they were such soul mates that you had to say, 'How could she possibly be interested in somebody else?'"Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com
