As of the episode 3 of Westworld season 3, the show still seems to be struggling to gain a live audience (that is, viewers who watch it when it airs on HBO Sunday nights), but the numbers were up slightly on last week. This episode has the second lowest ratings of the show yet, following last week's lower-rated episode--which is, ultimately, good news.According to Showbuzz Daily, the third episode of the season was viewed by 800,000 people when it aired on HBO on Sunday, March 29. That's up from the 780,000 for episode 2, but down on the series premiere, which had 901,000 viewers. Typically a season premiere will have a higher view count than subsequent episodes in a season, so these are not unusual figures, although there was some hope that Westworld's viewership would rise, especially with so many people staying home due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It's also worth noting that these figures do not reflect the show's full viewership, as many viewers may catch up with the show on HBO Go, or even with its eventual DVD and digital release. Marvel's next film, Black Widow, was originally due to be released on May 1, 2020. The film's release has been delayed, however, due to COVID-19, and a new date has not been set. Now that the film is further away, Disney is taking the opportunity to make some changes to it, and the film's composer has been changed, according to Film Music Reporter.Originally, Alexandre Desplat had been announced as the film's composer. Desplat, whose previous credits include Little Women, Isle of Dogs, and Argo, has been taken off the project. Sonic the Hedgehog ended up being a good-looking movie thanks to a significant character redesign for the blue blur, but it's hard to forget the haunted eyes and human teeth of the original design. Developer GungHo Online Entertainment has dropped the first episode of an animated show based on Ninjala, the free-to-play multiplayer action game coming to Nintendo Switch on May 27.The first episode delves into the game's lore, with a narrator explaining the ninja's birth and demise before bringing the present day into focus. In Ninjala's world, ninja are incognito these days, living as everyday people while attempting to tap into their latent ninja abilities. The episode shows three scientists--Burton, Berecca, and Ron--experimenting with "ninja gum," a candy-like substance that unlocks their inner ninja and grants them access to ancient ninja weaponry. There's a funny Peter Parker/Spider-Man moment, where two of the three giddily run around the room after discovering their powers. League of Legends developer Riot Games is branching out with multiple new projects, one of which is a free-to-play multiplayer shooter called Valorant. The game remains some time away from official release, but Riot has now announced there will be a closed beta testing period for the game.This closed beta test will begin on April 7, and you can sign up right now. The beta, at least the first stage of it, will be limited to the United States, Europe, Canada, Russia, and Turkey.
