The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has caused plenty of event cancellations this year, including this year's SXSW. The city of Austin pulled the plug on the event, but alas, those who were excited about watching the movie premieres this year will be able to watch them from home very soon.Amazon Prime Video revealed in a tweet that it has partnered with SXSW for an upcoming streaming event. Apex Legends is getting a new limited-time event all about Bloodhound, but it's coinciding with a permanent change that should make fans happy. When the Old Ways Lore Event begins on April 7, players will be able to select from the game's two maps: Kings Canyon or World's Edge.As detailed on the EA Blog, the update will add permanent map rotation to the game, letting you choose which map to play in Trios or the newly-returning Duos. The Simpsons was one of the many shows that arrived on Disney+ in November last year, with all 30 seasons to date available to watch. However, there was almost immediate controversy when fans spotted that all the episodes were in the 16:9 aspect ratio, meaning that older seasons were cropped from their original 4:3 ratio. Disney responded by stating that the first 19 seasons of the show will be made available in their original ratio at some point, and now the studio has revealed when this will happen.In a tweet, Disney stated that it appreciates fans' patience while they wait for the corrected episodes, and that the studio "expects to accomplish this by the end of May." The PlayStation 4 virtual reality exclusive Marvel's Iron Man VR has been pushed back "until further notice" amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment announced.Alongside the Iron Man VR delay, Sony also pushed back the launch of its flagship exclusive The Last of Us Part II, which was originally slated to arrive this May. A sequel to the 2013 action-platformer Rogue Legacy is now in development, the game's creator Cellar Door Games announced. The studio didn't have much else to share beyond confirming that Rogue Legacy 2 is on the way. However, "a lot more info" about the sequel will be dropping "in the coming days." Fortnite's not-so-secret Deadpool skin is scheduled to unlock tomorrow, April 3, and it appears Epic has a Deadpool-themed event planned to coincide with the skin's release.The official Deadpool Twitter account teased that the irreverent Marvel character will be "crashing" Fortnite starting April 3. Amazon could soon be a force to be reckoned with in the world of gaming, as the company is said to have invested "hundreds of millions" of dollars into trying to become a major player in the games business. The New York Times reported that figure, and also noted that Amazon's new push into gaming represents the company's "most significant investment" in original entertainment since it launched a movie and TV business with Amazon Studios.Amazon's film and TV business has enjoyed a lot of success over the years, including the acclaimed TV show Transparent and the Oscar-winning movie Manchester by the Sea. Amazon's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel also won high acclaim, picking up multiple Golden Globe and Emmy wins.Amazon is looking for success in gaming, too, and this begins with the launch of its first original game, the sci-fi shooter Crucible. Bugs require certain conditions to spawn, including months of the year, the weather, and the environment. Tarantulas require it to be nighttime (7 PM - 4 AM specifically) and during the correct months. In the Northern Hemisphere that's November through April, while Southern Hemisphere players will need to be playing from May to October. You can always change your time and date in the Switch settings to fit these requirements, although time-skipping can have unintended consequences.Tarantulas can be sold for a whopping 8,000 bells each (though you should put your first one in the museum of course), which means you can make some serious bells with this method.
