Valve has rolled out a new update in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, rebalancing and changing several weapons and making tweaks to the game's maps. Though no individual CS:GO change is likely to massively disrupt the formula, the weapon adjustments could shift competitive play.Assault rifles got the bulk of adjustments in the April 10 patch. The SG553 had its rate of fire and accuracy reduced, and the AUG's accuracy was also adjusted to make it more effective while un-scoped and slightly less effective while scoped. The M4A1-S, meanwhile, had its price reduced by $200 to $2900.The Deagle and Tec-9 pistols were also adjusted. The Deagle's jumping accuracy has been improved to shorten the time for recovery after landing, and the Tec-9's overall firing accuracy has also been improved. Call of Duty Warzone, the free-to-play battle royale as part of Modern Warfare, got rid of Trios mode when it launched Season 3, introducing Quads instead. That only lasted a couple of days, because Infinity Ward has now added Trios back into the game, alongside Quads so you can take your pick.Infinity Ward tweeted out the announcement that Trios was back. At first the return of Trios was using older, pre-Season 3 loot pools, but Infinity Ward quickly issued a fix for that as well.Other recent changes include a price increase for the Loadout Drop to $10,000, marking another price change to the powerful ability following feedback that it was still overpowered. It lets you call in an airdrop that comes with a loadout of weapons, so the ability to pick your weaponry beforehand can be a big advantage. While Pokemon Sword and Shield regularly hold limited-time events, many fans are likely anxiously awaiting the pair of expansions set to release later this year. Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra are replacing the "third game" that usually comes a year or two after a new pair of Pokemon games release. Though an exact release date hasn't been set for either expansion, we know Isle of Armor releases in June and The Crown Tundra arrives this fall. The expansions are available to pre-order now through multiple retailers and the Nintendo Eshop.The expansions will not be sold individually, so you have to buy the Expansion Pass for $30 to gain access to both Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra. Considering that The Pokemon Company and Nintendo previously charged full price for the "definitive" third version of each game, the new model is probably preferable for most fans.Both expansions feature their own regions and storylines. Isle of Armor takes place on an island off the coast of Galar that houses a dojo led by Leon's former mentor Mustard (yes, that's his actual name). The Crown Tundra is set on a snowy mountain and leans more into exploration. The game is called Scrappers, and like all Apple Arcade titles it's included with a subscription to the service.According to the App Store description, Scrapprs is a throwdown between dueling robot garbage collectors for 1-4 players. Because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and extended social distancing mandates, the Final Fantasy XIV team has confirmed that patch development on the game will be delayed by up to a month.Game director Naoki Yoshida outlined how the coronavirus is impacting FFXIV development in a blog post, where he said that the next update will arrive later than expected. While Patch 5.2 launched in February 2020, it looks like the next one scheduled for mid-June could drop two to three weeks late or more."FFXIV relies heavily on our development and QA partners across the world, and at this point, we must accept that the situation will significantly impact our development schedule," Yoshida wrote. After a brief start and two years of hype, ESPN's Field Yates is reporting that Vince McMahon's XFL has been shut down due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic after just five weeks of initial play.Originally founded in 2001 by the wrestling titan and lasting just one season, McMahon promised a new iteration of the sport in 2018 and relaunched in January 2020, the XFL suspended the rest of the 2020 season on March 8th after just five regular season games.NEWS: on a call today with COO Jeffery Pollock, XFL employees were just informed that the league is suspending operations and all employees have been laid off.
