The Karate Kid sequel series Cobra Kai, once a YouTube Red original series, eventually moved to Netflix and became a pop-culture hit. With the success of the series, a new Karate Kid movie from Sony was announced last year, but it turns out it will not be connected to Cobra Kai."What we can say is that we have significant interest in doing more things in this universe. We have multiple ideas of the kinds of things that we would like to do," explained Cobra Kai co-creator Josh Heald, who spoke to GameSpot during a set visit for the final season. Amazon Games is bringing free-to-play Korean MMORPG Throne and Liberty to the West in September, and we now know all the ways the publisher is changing the game's business model to better fit the expectations of western players.In a recent blog post on the Throne and Liberty website, Amazon and developer NCSOFT outlined how the game's monetization will differ from the Korean version, explaining its goals, the main currencies players will be interacting with, and detailing how its five-day paid early access period will work. For starters, one of Amazon's stated goals is to make combat and power upgrades accessible to all players, not just ones who pay real money to get ahead. To further that mission statement, its in-game store won't sell one of the game's core currencies used to craft and upgrade gear, nor will it sell potions or food that may give players who have them an advantage. Quests and rewards exclusive to the paid battle pass will be removed. The second act of Destiny 2's first new episode, Echoes, adds two new guns to the list of weapons you can acquire from the episode's activities. Like other episode weapons, you can eventually earn the ability to buy those two guns from Failsafe, the Echoes vendor. However, the ability to "focus" Echoes engrams into Aberrant Action or Corrasion isn't immediately available with the launch of the episode. Instead, you have to earn it as a vendor upgrade by completing Failsafe's tasks.The bad news is that the ability to unlock focusing for Aberrant Action and Corrasion isn't available during the first week of Act 2, even if you grind all the available story and Failsafe content this week. But we have a sense of what you'll need to do to unlock it when it does become available.Both guns are pretty notable: Aberrant Action is a rocket-assisted sidearm and just the third of that type of gun in the game, while Corrasion is a heavy pulse rifle that has a different feel from just about any other pulse.
