Week 9's challenges are now live in Fortnite. This week introduces the first set of Midas' Mission challenges, some of which fittingly revolve around gold. One asks you to search Midas' golden llama, while another asks you to find five XP Coins. This is easier than it may initially sound, but if you need help completing this challenge, here's what to do.Where Are The XP Coin Locations?XP Coins are large tokens that you can find all across the island. These have been around since the start of Season 2, but more have been gradually appearing as the season has progressed, so there are now a ton of them scattered around. Unfortunately, any XP Coins that you've previously collected won't count toward this challenge, but it still shouldn't be too hard to find five. You can tell when one of the tokens is around by the distinctive noise it makes when you're nearby. The coins also come in four different varieties--orange, purple, blue, and green--which dole out different amounts of XP and have different conditions depending on their color; the blue coins, for instance, are only around for a short time, so you need to collect those before they disappear.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Note: This post contains spoilers for Final Fantasy 7 Remake--specifically Chapter 14 and before. If you haven't made it through that section of the game, we suggest you do so before reading further. At several points during Final Fantasy 7 Remake, your actions have effects on the story. It might be a cutscene that's dependent on your performance, like in Chapter 4, or one that takes into account your choices, like in Chapter 9. But the biggest thing that's affected by your choices is in Chapter 14--a moment called "Resolution" in the rundown of the main scenario.Unlike most other moments you can change, Resolution takes a whole bunch of things into account from throughout the game to decide which of three different scenes plays during your version of FF7 Remake's story. It stacks up choices from Chapter 3 and Chapter 8, and seemingly takes into account things from Chapter 2, Chapter 9, and Chapter 10, as well. But we've figured out how to affect the choice to help you check out all three possible scenes--read on to see what choices to make and when to unlock each one.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

One of the biggest surprises to uncover in Final Fantasy 7 Remake is the breadth of optional missions and characters around Midgar. While the battle between the rebels of Avalanche and the evil Shinra Electric Company is at the forefront, it's worth taking some time to get to know the residents of the mako-powered metropolis. The side-quests in the FF7 Remake can be pretty extensive, and this is most evident towards the latter end of the game in Chapter 14.In Chapter 14, you'll regain control of Cloud, Tifa, and Barret in the Undercity following a pivotal moment in the plot. At this point, you have more leeway in where you can travel to in Midgar, allowing you fast-travel to previously completed areas. While you may feel tempted to skip the quests to continue with the story, you'll miss out on some valuable items and Materia, which can help even the odds in the upcoming battles. But if you miss out on events here, don't fret. After completing the game, you'll be able to use the chapter select menu to travel back to any of the previously completed sections of the story. If you're looking to figure out how to complete all of Chapter 14, then we've put together a handy spoiler-free guide detailing the many side-quests and their respective reward. If you're looking for other tips, such as the locations for every weapon in the game, best Materia, or even the complete walkthrough of the game, then be sure to check out our FF7 Remake guide hub for all the details.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

You mostly just have to kill as many of the specters as possible. Do your best to avoid their attacks and take them out quickly with melee strikes--magic will work as well, but it's not as effective. Triple Slash are handy here for taking down multiple enemies quickly, and attacks like Focused Thrust and Focused Strike will push up the Engimatic Specter's stagger meter. You don't need to really win this fight, though--just kill enemies until a cutscene kicks in.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

As Gears 5 heats up with Operation 3, changes are being made to two of the game's most popular weapons following fan feedback. The new update, detailed by developer The Coalition on the official Gears 5 website, focuses on the Lancer rifle and the Gnasher shotgun, which have been series staples since the first Gears of War.The update, which is live now, nerfs the power of the Lancer a bit and looks to improve how using the Gnasher feels. The Lancer is slightly less powerful now--its accuracy bloom (which dictates how much accuracy is lost per-shot when firing a round) has been increased to 28%. This is roughly what it was in Gears of War 3 and 4, too, and it takes 0.84 seconds to reach maximum inaccuracy if you hold down the trigger (or faster after an active reload). It's in your best interest to shoot the Lancer in controlled bursts when possible, and that's even more true now than it was before. The Lancer in Gears 5 had a smaller clip than before, but it was increased in Operation 3 so that it could be used more effectively to finish off downed enemies. However, this ultimately made the weapon a little too powerful. The Gnasher, on the other hand, has seen an increase in its bullet magnetism range from 6m to 8m. The weapon was feeling inconsistent in Operation 3, The Coalition said, so it's reverted back to how it was before. The gib-range calculation system has also been temporarily disabled, as a bug was making it a little too easy to gib opponents with the gun.As the update points out, testing is more difficult now as developers work from home, so it's more likely that errors will slip through.Gears 5 recently lost its multiplayer director, who exited The Coalition citing the toll that working on the last two Gears games has taken on him. Say what you will about the quality level of The Simpsons these days, but the opening couch gags continue to impress. The opening sequence for this Sunday's episode of The Simpsons has now been posted online, and it's one of the more elaborate and unique couch gags ever for the show.Animated by Michal Socha, who also made an incredible 2014 couch gag for The Simpsons, this new one features creative, more abstract interpretations of The Simpsons family as action heroes known as The Extremesons. Homer is a skydiver, Bart is a daring snowboarder, and Marge is a surfer using a GoPro to document her skills. Lisa is shown snorkeling through a cave and encountering a giant whale, while Maggie becomes a stunt performer of her own on her tricycle. But what's really going on here? Be sure to watch through until the end to see the surprise.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com
