Week 10's challenges have arrived in Fortnite. This week introduces the second set of Midas' Mission challenges, and of course, one of them revolves around gold. Specifically, you'll need to search five different golden pipe wrenches. If you're not sure where those are located, we've put together this guide showing you where to go.Where Are The Golden Pipe Wrench Locations? As the challenge states, there are five golden pipe wrenches to search. These are scattered all around the island, but they're fittingly all located by areas with some kind of pipework. This somewhat narrows down the areas you need to search, but the wrenches will likely still be tough to find, so we've outlined their locations below:Fortnite golden pipe wrench locationsOn top of Lockie's Lighthouse in C1In front of the pipe statue in B6At the Pipeman landmark in D8Outside of Steamy Stacks in H2Western side of Dirty Docks in H4How To Complete The ChallengeOnce you know where the golden wrenches are, all you need to do is make your way to each one and search them. Fortunately, unlike the Week 10 challenge to visit Greasy Graves, Hayman, and The Agency, you don't need to search all five in a single round, so you can chip away at this challenge over the course of several challenges.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

The Xbox Series X is set to usher in the next-generation of console gaming in just a few months--along with Sony's PlayStation 5. Microsoft has already shared plenty of details about its upcoming console, detailing the Xbox Series X's full specs, storage solutions, and more. To gain a better understanding of what this all means for game developers and architects, Windows Central spoke to Microsoft and various third-party game devs and asked them all about the Xbox Series X."As a game developer, one of the most exciting improvements that far exceeds expectations is the massive I/O improvements on Xbox Series X," explains Mike Rayner, Studio Technical Director at The Coalition. "In the current generation, as the fidelity and size of our worlds increased, we have seen download times and install sizes grow and increasing runtime I/O demands, which have made it challenging to maintain load-times expectations and meet world streaming demands without detail loss. The Xbox Series X has been holistically designed to directly address this challenge."With the Xbox Series X, out of the gate, we reduced our load-times by more than 4x without any code changes. With the new DirectStorage APIs and new hardware decompression, we can further improve I/O performance and reduce CPU overhead, both of which are essential to achieve fast loading." Microsoft has been toting the Xbox Series X's faster loading speeds, and it sounds like the console's new SSD and DirectStorage APIs are clearly having an effect on The Coalition's Gears 5 port.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Be careful when dying in Fallout 76, as a new bug has been discovered where the newly added Wastelanders NPCs can loot your weapons from your corpse and permanently keep them. The bug has been reported on Fallout 76's subreddit. Players post that upon dying near an NPC, that non-playable character seizes their weapon and all ammunition associated with it and subsequently uses it in battle. These weapons can't be reclaimed at the moment, and Bethesda is currently investigating the issue."We are actively investigating everything outlined in this thread, as well as other reports we've received here, on our own forums, or through support tickets," Bethesda said. "In our next hotfix, we are planning to include a fix for the issue where NPCs can occasionally take a player's weapon when they die. The remaining issues mentioned in [the] thread are all still active investigations, and we want to resolve them as soon as possible.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

It looks like a total blast. If you're looking for something a bit more classic, both Hellraiser and Hellbound: Hellraiser II arrive on May 11. Destiny 2's Trials of Osiris has been pretty contentious since Bungie reintroduced the top-tier PvP game type in the Season of the Worthy. Since it launched, Trials has seen some troubles, including a big uptick in cheating and a lack of rewards for most players. Bungie has changes planned for Trials in coming seasons which will hopefully mitigate some of those issues. In its latest This Week at Bungie blog post, the developer outlined troubles it has been seeing since re-introducing Trials at the start of the Season of the Worthy last month. Trials encourages players to try to win seven PvP matches without losing one, and dishes out rewards at three, five, and seven wins. But participating also nets you "Trials Tokens" that you can use to purchase some of that gear, which has led to some high-skill teams playing only their first few Trials matches in order to just earn tokens. Because of the way matchmaking works, that results in lower-skill teams getting repeatedly stomped on by better players.Bungie said it's hoping to adjust Trials to make it more rewarding regardless of your skill level, and to encourage you to play even if you aren't likely to earn a flawless run every weekend.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

There's a lot of new TV series and movies coming to Netflix in May 2020, but few have as passionate a following as Avatar: The Last Airbender. If you haven't yet had a chance to watch this series (or you're just looking for a way to watch it again), The Last Airbender will come to Netflix on May 15.The Last Airbender takes place in a fictional east Asia-like setting, in which people can learn the art of "bending" that allows them to control one of the four elements: fire, water, earth, and air. The Avatar is a special individual who can learn to control all four, reincarnating over and over as a protector of the world. At the start of the series, siblings Sokka and Katara discover the latest Avatar, a young airbender named Aang who is the last of his kind, and agree to travel with him as he learns to control the other three elements so that he'll be strong enough to stop the war-like Fire Nation from taking over the world.Water.
