Given CD Projekt Red's past works with The Witcher and its sequels, it should come as no surprise that the studio is continuing to push the limits of ratings boards with its latest game, Cyberpunk 2077.The ESRB has released its rating of the upcoming cyberpunk RPG, granting it a "Mature" rating with a very descriptive breakdown. The blurb mentions the game's in-depth character creator which, aside from letting you define the standard anatomical attributes, lets you go as far as determining the definition of your character's genitalia. The rating continues by detailing several scenes with strong sexual content, all of which will be in a first-person view. The rating also mentions several scenes in the game depicting excessive violence, including one instance where "players assist a character by hammering nails through his hands and feet." There are also notes on numerous fictitious drugs and alcoholic drinks that are available for purchase in the game, all of which will induce some effect on your character. You can read the full ERSB rating excerpt below.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

It has now been reported that theater owners in UK are hoping that they might able to reopen by late June.According to Screen Daily, conversations are underway between exhibitors and the UK government about how and when to safely reopen to the public. The site states that industry bodies the UK Cinema Association (UKCA) and Film Distributors' Association (FDA) are developing proposals which will be presented to the authorities about the safest way to do this.UKCA CEO Phil Clapp stated that while discussions were underway, it was ultimately a decision for the government. "We have been in discussion with government on the safeguards needed to protect audiences and staff," he said. "We believe these could be in place in time for an end-June reopening. Hank Azaria has spent 30 years playing some of The Simpsons' most beloved characters, from Moe Szyslak, Chief Wiggum, and Apu to Dr. Nick, Superintendent Chalmers, and the Comic Book Guy. In a new interview with Conan O'Brien, Azaria discussed the strain some of these roles have taken on his vocal chords, explaining that he feels a sense of "dread" over the pain caused from performing characters like Duffman.O'Brien, who was a writer and producer on The Simpsons between 1991 and '93, asked Azaria how "tough" some of the characters are to voice. The actor mentions (in Duffman's voice) that playing the buff, sunglasses-wearing beer spokesman "will blow me out in a second" and that Azaria has "to save Duffman for the end" of a recording session because "it actually does hurt." He says he's "not complaining" about the work but goes on to mention that it's easy for him to lose his voice."I got in a screaming match with someone," Azaria recalls when mentioning a past accident that led him to insure his vocal chords. "I was in my car afterwards, and I was so upset, and I totally blew out my voice … and it didn't come back for almost two weeks, and I got really scared."Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Because my worldview has been so thoroughly colored by video games, I can't help but look at the events of the past few days--namely, the smattering of anti-lockdown protests that have occurred around the US in response to stay-at-home restrictions--and draw parallels to one of my favorite games, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, which coincidentally celebrated its 20th anniversary recently. Since its debut, Majora's Mask has been regarded as perhaps the series' most divisive installment due to its smothering three-day structure and somber atmosphere, but one scene in the game seems particularly prescient now in the face of the coronavirus crisis.Minor Majora's Mask spoilers follow.Although Majora's Mask continues Link's adventures directly after Ocarina of Time, its story really revolves around Clock Town--a bustling city in the heart of the doomed world of Termina. In three days, Termina is destined to be destroyed by the falling moon unless Link can somehow avert this tragic fate and save the land.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com
