The explosive sales success of Animal Crossing: New Horizons means we're seeing it adopted outside the usual video game circles, from well-known figures like actor Danny Trejo and US Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Now we can add NFL teams to that list, after the Detroit Lions used the game to tease its upcoming season schedule. The tweet from the official Lions account is accompanied by a video introduced by Tom Nook. "There's only a single announcement today, but it's a big one," Nook says. "Yes, yes! It's been a long time coming but we are thrilled to finally be able to announce the Detroit Lions 2020 season schedule! We can't wait to spend our Sundays between the lines, but before we make it that far please enjoy this video presentation we put together for you."The video that follows is a Villager decked out in custom-made Detroit Lions gear, doing things like burying a stuffed bear to represent its September 13 game against the Chicago Bears or visiting Redd's sketchy-looking ship (donned with a new flag) to represent the November 8 game against the Minnesota Vikings. It's all very cute and wholesome, and a followup tweet shares custom design codes for Lions jerseys.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Doom Eternal's story is not yet over, as id Software have already announced plans for story DLC in the near future. Although there's still no title or release date to speak of, the first two screenshots teasing the narrative content give some indication as to where the Doomslayer is headed to next. The two images, shared on Twitter, show two very different new areas not present in Eternal's main story. The first looks very similar to Urdak, Eternal's version of Heaven, bit with a less pristine sheen to it compared to how it appeared in Eternal. The second is a massive man-made structure out at sea, and it's unclear whether this is yet another UAC facility overridden with demonic enemies.Doom Eternal Story DLC TeaserThis Doom Eternal DLC will be missing one component from both the 2016 reboot of Doom and its sequel. Composer Mick Gordon will not be returning to lend his musical talents to the additional content, following disagreements with id Software that resulted in some strange mixing to Eternal's OST. This led to executive producer Marty Straton telling the studio's side of the story, which confirmed that Gordon would not be coming back.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Warzone: - Replacing BR Solos with BR Stimulus Solos- Height & radius at which parachuting enemy players are called out have been reduced (BR) - Adding helicopters back Modern Warfare: - Shipment 24/7 becomes Shipment 10v10- Adding 3v3 Gunfight Knives Only — Infinity Ward (@InfinityWard) May 8, 2020Helicopters were recently removed from Warzone due to a player exploit that was affecting game balance. Many were encountering a bug where some Warzone players were able to glitch the airborne vehicles under the map to get free kills. It's unclear if Infinity Ward has addressed the issue. Also in Warzone, Infinity Ward has swapped Solos for the brand-new Stimulus Solos. According to Charlie Intel, Stimulus Solos disables The Gulag, meaning the only way you can respawn is by spending your money. Each player will start with 4500 in cash, and you drop 50 percent of it when you die. Additionally, respawning is disabled in the second to last circle.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Like the JRPG bundle, all Square Enix revenue will be donated to food banks and charities in North America and Europe. If you like Tomb Raider, this bundle is worth it for the Lara Croft-starring games alone. You get 14 Tomb Raider games, including Tomb Raider (2013), Rise of the Tomb Raider, and older titles like Tomb Raider: Legend and Tomb Raider: Anniversary. The entire Deus Ex franchise is also featured in the bundle, including the stellar Deus Ex: Manking Divided.Other prominently-featured Square Enix franchises include Thief, Legacy of Kain, Kane and Lynch, and Just Cause (the first three games). The second season of the Disney+ Star Wars TV show The Mandalorian has already been filmed, but thus far not a lot is known about what to expect. Other than that, though, we have learned a little casting news and some of the episode directors, but not much about the plot.A new report, though, suggests that a major Star Wars character will play a role in the season when it debuts. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Star Wars: Attack of the Clones actor Temuera Morrison will appear on the show. In that film, Morrison played Mandalorian bounty hunter Jango Fett. Now, based on THR's report, he will play the iconic role of Boba Fett--who was revealed to be a clone of Jango in the prequels. While it's not believed that Boba Fett will play a big role in Season 2, there's no telling if he will end up being a recurring character as the show moves into Season 3, which is reportedly in the works.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com
