Pokemon Sword and Shield's Gigantamax Eevee event has ended, but another previously exclusive Pokemon has taken its place. June is just around the corner, and Pokemon Go developer Niantic has revealed a variety of events it has lined up for the mobile game next month. With The Last of Us Part 2 only three weeks away, developer Naughty Dog has shared an extended look at gameplay during a new State of Play livestream. In the gameplay sequence, we caught a glimpse of an interesting easter egg: an NPC hanging out with a PS Vita in her hand. The game is supposed to take place decades after an apocalypse, but Sony's underrated handheld has still managed to survive. The jury is still out on whether its user had modded it to play Super Nintendo games, though. In the encounter, below, Ellie is seen swimming through some flooded facility controlled by an enemy faction. As Ellie gets out of the water, she holds an enemy NPC hostage to gather some information from her before ultimately taking her life. What's curious about the encounter, though, is that the NPC is seen playing Dennaton Games' breakout title Hotline Miami on a PlayStation Vita. In 2019, the head of Nier: Automata and Bayonetta developer Platinum Games, Atsushi Inaba, said he was not all that impressed by the next generation of consoles from Sony and Microsoft.
