Back in April, Comic-Con International made the announcement it was cancelling its annual San Diego event due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, CCI is offering up a replacement show that you can experience from your living room, and more importantly, it's free to attend.CCI recently announced its plans for the upcoming event, which will take place July 22-26 according to Collider. The event will feature panels about movies, TV, gaming, comics, and more, along with activities for people to take part in from the safety of their own home. Collider also announced the site will have two panels during the show. However, details about the panels have not been revealed, and that's the only info at this time about any panels happening.Additionally, there will still be a place to spend all your money. Comic-Con plans on having an online exhibit hall where you can check out exhibitors, which will offer limited-edition products. That surely beats trying to be the first one in the hall in the morning in order to stand in line to buy something with the hopes it doesn't sell out.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Since the COVID-19 virus was classified as a pandemic in March, many people have been spending much more time inside, and non-essential businesses such as gyms have been closed in many areas. Interest in not only the Nintendo Switch, but its premier fitness game, Ring Fit Adventure, has skyrocketed, leading both the console and the game to sell out everywhere. Because Ring Fit Adventure comes with physical equipment--a pilates ring and a leg strap--you can only buy it physically, and the bundle sells for $80. If you've been looking for a workout game that can help you stay active inside, Ring Fit Adventure is one of the best options there is, and it's currently back in stock at Best Buy. It's sold out several times but will often become available again within minutes, so keep refreshing and checking back if it says "sold out" on the listing. See Ring Fit Adventure at Best Buy Ring Fit Adventure is essentially an RPG about exercising, and it's way more fun than that sounds. In the game, you meet a magic being called Ring, which corresponds to the real-life pilates ring you use to perform moves. Your nameless character teams up with Ring to hunt down an evil workout-obsessed dragon called Dragaux, who is causing monsters to appear across the land and brainwashing its citizens. Each world you visit will have around five to 10 different stages to complete, with a variety of side quests and mini-games available as well; the last battle in each world pits you against Dragaux himself.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

When it was announced that Ruby Rose would not be returning for Season 2 of The CW's Batwoman, it was unclear what that meant for her character, Kate Kane. It was revealed that a new Batwoman would instead be introduced, leading some to wonder if that meant Kane would simply be killed off. Now, showrunner Caroline Dries has confirmed that's not the case.In a statement obtained by Give Me My Remote, Dries said, "As a lesbian who's been working as a writer for the past fifteen years, I'm well aware of the 'Bury Your Gays' trope and I have no interest in participating in it. That's why it's important to me as the showrunner to clarify any misinformation out there about Kate Kane and recasting Batwoman. Like you, I love Kate Kane--she's the reason I wanted to do the show. We'll never erase her. In fact, her disappearance will be one of the mysteries of season 2. I don't want to give away any of our surprises, but to all our devoted fans, please know that LGBTQ+ justice is at the very core of what Batwoman is and we have no intention of abandoning that."It was previously reported that the new Batwoman will be a woman named Ryan Wilder. A casting call reportedly is looking for a "female, Mid-late 20s, any ethnicity." It reads further, "she's likable, messy, a little goofy, and untamed. She's also nothing like Kate Kane, the woman who wore the batsuit before her."Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

In a time when so many are stuck at home and watching more Netflix than usual, a new comedy from Greg Daniels, the creator of the US version of The Office, and starring Michael Scott himself, Steve Carell, seems like an easy win. When you combine that with the fact that it's meant to be a satirical look at the president's new branch of the military, Space Force, it seems like an endless supply of comedy. A silly military show from the people who perfected the workplace comedy--What more could you want in Netflix's Space Force? As it turns out, you could want a lot more. Space Force seemed like a perfect storm of TV magic, but ultimately it's a total mess. Whether it's the painfully unfunny jokes throughout, the spotty cast that doesn't really mesh well enough over the course of Season 1, the poor story choices, or the incredibly bad timing, Space Force is an utter disappointment--whether you're a fan of The Office or not. It's hard to start anywhere but the timing of the show's release. While it's easy to poke fun at President Donald Trump's attempt to launch a brand of the military in outer space--it's been late-night talk show fodder for years now--the United States is currently in the throes of a global pandemic, while Americans are protesting the brutal treatment of African Americans by police officers. Mocking one of the sillier aspects of the Trump administration just doesn't feel very good at this point.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

As is often the case with Destiny 2, it seems the addition of a new Exotic weapon to the game has brought some unforeseen consequences. With the newly launched Season of Arrivals comes a new grenade launcher called Witherhoard, which is already annihilating raid bosses and dominating in the Crucible--and it's only a matter of time until its powers are nerfed.Witherhoard has some special perks that make it unlike other grenade launchers in Destiny 2. Instead of firing explosives, it launches grenades that cause an effect called "blight." Hit an enemy head-on, and they get infected with blight, which causes damage over time. When they die, a pool of blight spreads out on the ground where they fall that damages any enemies that step into it. If a grenade his the ground rather than an enemy, the blight pool appears, so Witherhoard is great for doing direct damage to bosses, or for holding territory as enemies walk into it and get killed. It's only been available for a day, but already, players are finding out that Witherhoard's grenades are seriously powerful. The launcher's blight eats up Destiny 2's toughest bosses--fire a bunch of Witherhoards at a raid boss like the Garden of Salvation's Sanctified Mind or Last Wish's Riven and you can kill them in seconds.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

The name "Golden State Killer" was coined by McNamara herself during her research process. The title of McNamara's novel came directly from a quote spoken by the killer to one of his victims: "You'll be silent forever, and I'll be gone in the dark."Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

At long last, the first real look at Season 2 of Doom Patrol has arrived. The series, which originated on the DC Universe streaming service will be available there and on the new HBO Max platform when it debuts. The trailer sets up the story2, which will see a new member join the team of superhero misfits. Dorothy Spinner is the daughter of The Chief--the surrogate father of the Doom Patrol--and, according to him, "she will unleash hell on Earth." Given that this is Doom Patrol, a TV show that saw a farting donkey contain a pocket universe the gang went to in Season 1, that should probably be taken literally.Dorothy's arrival will play a pivotal part in the new batch of episodes as the team attempts to find a way to trust The Chief after he betrayed them in Season 1. A description of the new season reads, "Cliff Steele aka Robotman, Larry Trainor aka Negative Man, Rita Farr aka Elasti-Woman, Jane aka Crazy Jane, and Victor Stone aka Cyborg--are back again to save the world. That is, if they can find a way to grow up... both figuratively and literally. Following the defeat of Mr. Nobody, the members of the Doom Patrol now find themselves mini-sized and stranded on Cliff's toy race car track. Here they begin to deal with their feelings of betrayal by Niles Caulder aka The Chief, while confronting their own personal baggage. And as each member faces the challenge of growing beyond their own past traumatic experiences, they must come together to embrace and protect the newest member of the family: Dorothy Spinner, Niles' daughter, whose powers remain a mysterious but real threat to bringing on the end of the world."Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

2K Sports has begun to announce more PGA Tour professionals who will be featured in PGA Tour 2K21. Posting on Twitter, the developer confirmed that Matt Kuchar and Bryson Dechambeau are joining cover star Justin Thomas as some of the real-life players who will be featured in the game. They are fine choices, as Kuchar and Dechambeau are among the best golfers on the planet. But I have an issue with the Dechambeau character model, in particular. Dechambeau spent much of the off-season hitting the gym and getting absolutely ripped. But his character model seemingly does not reflect this. His arms and chest do not appear to be the right size for the work he's done in the gym.. @b_dechambeau isn't just jacked, he also leads the @PGATOUR in driving distance ðŸŽï¸ Think you can drive further than The Scientist?
