Square Enix is preparing to show off a new trailer for Marvel's Avengers, and a teaser image gives us the slightest of glimpses of what to expect. The full trailer is said to be coming on June 24.The teaser, in a tweet from creative director Shawn Escayg, shows several of Earth's Mightiest Heroes standing alongside newcomer Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel. Black Widow has donned some high-tech eyewear, but otherwise this is a good look at the updated character models. It also shows a good deal of detail on the costuming.Conspicuously missing from the group is Captain America, which makes sense because the plot revolves around a tragedy befalling Steve Rogers during a big public celebration, which subsequently splinters the team. Ms. Marvel, ever the optimist and a big fan of superheroes herself, seems to be the one who brings the team back together.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Unfortunately, Ruby Rose, who portrayed Batwoman during Season 1 of The CW DC series of the same name, will not be returning for Season 2. In what was a surprise announcement, the actress revealed she was leaving her starring role. While Season 2 of Batwoman will feature an entirely new lead, according to a report, multiple sources told Variety that Rose was "unhappy with the long hours required of her as the series lead, which led to friction on set."Some people speculated that Rose left Batwoman due to lingering pain from her surgery to repair her herniated discs. However, Variety's sources said her decision to leave the show was unrelated to her health or an injury. In a statement, Rose said she has "the utmost respect for the cast, crew, and everyone involved" in the show. "Thank you to everyone who made Season 1 a success--I am truly grateful," Rose said.It was reported this week that Rose's character of Kate Cain won't be recast. Batwoman producers are auditioning LGBTQ performers to play a new lead character named Ryan Wilder, who is described as as "likable, messy, a little goofy, and untamed."Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

What's going to air on NBC this fall when the new TV season launches? According to the network, a long list of returning favorites and the new Law & Order spin-off starring Christopher Meloni. Of course, the issue at hand is that none of these shows have been filming due to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, and there's been no indication that production will begin anytime soon.NBC revealed its fall schedule in a tweet, noting it's planning to air new episodes of Superstore, Manifest, New Amsterdam, Law & Order: SVU, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Also on the schedule are three hours of The Voice each week, a new season of This Is Us, and the One Chicago block of shows. As noted by The Hollywood Reporter, though, NBC has not actually revealed when the fall season will launch. Typically, the major networks launch their programming seasons in September. NBC has yet to confirm that, though. The network, however, has revealed that a new 30 Rock special, which will be filmed remotely, will air in July to introduce the fall schedule and preview what NBC has in the works over the next year.We have BIG news. Exactly how Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 handle the process of facilitating upgrades from current-gen versions of games to next-gen ones could be a key factor for some who are deciding between the two platforms. But with the introduction of a disc-less version of the PlayStation 5, known as the PS5 digital edition, the already-confusing situation may now prove to be even more complicated.Microsoft has spoken a great deal about Smart Delivery, which--assuming publishers enable it for their games--will allow you to download a native Series X version of a game you buy on Xbox One. Sony has been less clear about how this process may work on PS5, although we do know it will be available in at least some cases, such as Destiny 2 and Madden NFL 21. However, in the latter case, EA has opted not to use Smart Delivery on Xbox Series X, instead implementing its own upgrade path for those who buy a current-gen version of its football game.As part of the Madden 21 reveal, EA reiterated that you will be able to upgrade from Madden 21 on Xbox One or PS4 to the Xbox Series X or PS5 version, provided you meet certain requirements. Since the upgrade plan was first announced, this has been simplified somewhat--now, you merely need to buy Madden 21 on console before the launch of Madden 22 to qualify for the free upgrade.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com
