Fortnite added some dangerous sea life to its water world-like map when Season 3 dropped this morning. Loot Sharks, deadly little great whites who drop weapons and ammo when killed, are now scattered around the water-covered parts of the new map.The sharks will attack you if you get too close. They'll even jump out of the water and onto shore in order to take a bite. Players have already shared wild videos of sharks flying through the air and attacking them while they are inside a nearby building. Sea of Thieves newest monthly update, Haunted Shores, is now live. In a post on Xbox Wire, developer Rare detailed the update, including the new fleet of spooky enemies.Ghost ships are a new enemy type, rising up from the depths of the sea. These high-powered fleets have less health than other ship types but make up for it by outnumbering living pirates. Ghost ships will remain in the game beyond this month's event.The Ghost ships are under the command of Captain Flameheart, who is at the center of Sea of Thieves' new event. His looming skull will appear over islands, similar to the war clouds appearing over Skeleton forts or Skeleton ship battles. Following its scheduled downtime, a new update for Pokemon Home is now live on mobile and Nintendo Switch. While the update primarily makes the service compatible with the new Pokemon introduced in Sword and Shield's first expansion, The Isle of Armor, it also resolves a persistent issue that has plagued the Global Trade System feature for years.According to the patch notes for the 1.2.0 update, players can no longer set impossible conditions in the GTS. This has been a recurring problem since the feature was first introduced and one of our biggest complaints about Pokemon Home. Prior to the update, players could, for example, put a Pokemon up for trade and request a Cinderace that's between levels 1-10 in return, despite the fact that Cinderace is a fully evolved Pokemon and cannot be that level.Longtime Pokemon players will know that this has been an ongoing issue with the GTS, but it seemed particularly prevalent on Pokemon Home. Rockstar Games has put a stop to Red Dead Online hackers spawning the KKK in-game. The KKK is a part of Red Dead Redemption 2's singleplayer campaign, and players were using a cheat to allow them to use those character models in multiplayer.Red Dead Online has a prolific mod scene, ranging from allowing players to fly around like an eagle in the game, to its very own version of the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Hot Coffee mod. What was allowing players to spawn as KKK members, however, appears to have been an exploit related to a mod menu that allowed hackers to access character models from the main game.Polygon reported that the instances of players using these KKK models in Red Dead Online had spiked in previous weeks, with some even roleplaying as the racist organization. Halo 3's ongoing beta test on PC has been extended. 343 Industries has confirmed that the beta testing period, or "flight," will now end on June 26. It was previously scheduled to end on June 18.Not only that, but 343 is looking to update the current flight with bug fixes, while the studio also plans to invite more Halo Insiders into the test. Xbox Series X is due out before the end of 2020, and information about it continues to trickle in ahead of the deluge expected with the upcoming July showcase. It appears one of EA's announcements from this week's EA Play Live has leaked ahead of time. EA is now inviting people to join a beta test program for EA Sports UFC 4, the next instalment in its UFC series that has not been officially announced yet.You can register here for the closed beta. Those accepted into the program will be sent a code with download instructions to their email.Sports writer Brian Mazique said in Fight Guys video that EA Sports UFC will be released on PS4 and Xbox One, as well as PS5 and Xbox Series X. Mazique also said that boxers Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua will appear in the game. Minecraft is gearing up for its next major update, the Nether Update, which will add new biomes to the previously rather samey Nether. A release date has been announced, and Minecraft users on Switch, PS4, Xbox One, PC, and mobile will be able to download it from June 23.This update will also be made available in the Java edition on the same day, if that's your preference.The official Minecraft page is bringing up an error message on its Nether page at the time of writing, but Rock Paper Shotgun has all the details. This update adds four new Nether biomes, called Soulsand Valley, Crimson Forest, Warped Forest, and Basalt Deltas.
