Evidence pointing towards a second next-generation Xbox continues to mount, this time with wording in the latest Game Development Kit SDK notes mentioning profiling modes for Xbox Lockhart.Lockhart is a name that has been attributed to the other next-gen Xbox for some time now, stemming from the Anaconda and Lockhart project titles given to hardware under the banner of Project Scarlett. Anaconda would go on to be named the Xbox Series X, which Microsoft formally revealed in December last year. But since then the company has made no mention of a second SKU--at least not officially.The latest GDK released to Xbox developers, as reported by The Verge, does make specific mention of Lockhart. It lays out a new profiling mode that will allow existing dev kits to mimic the performance conditions of the reportedly lower-powered consoles, including a slightly reduced CPU clock speed, less available RAM (about 7.5GB only), and significantly less GPU power (around four teraflops, as opposed to the 12 teraflops in the Xbox Series X). Developer and publisher ZA/UM has announced that its critically acclaimed RPG Disco Elysium is getting a television adaptation.According to Variety, ZA/UM partnered with production company dj2 Entertainment to create the series. Dj2 founder Dmitri M. Johnson was a co-producer on Paramount Pictures' Sonic the Hedgehog live-action film. The Office has become the latest NBC sitcom to retroactively remove an instance of blackface from its series on streaming platforms and where it is available for purchase. A new version of 2012's Episode 909, titled "Dwight's Christmas" has been replaced with an edited version removing the problematic scene. Other NBC sitcoms, like Community, Scrubs, and 30 Rock, have opted instead to pull similar episodes.The Office was a mockumentary-style adaptation of the British series sharing the same name, which was adapted for American audiences by Greg Daniels. In a statement issued to news site TheWrap, Daniels writes: "The Office is about a group of people trying to work together with mutual respect despite the inappropriate actions of their boss and assistant manager. The show employed satire to expose unacceptable behavior and deliver a message of inclusion. Today we cut a shot of an actor wearing blackface that was used to criticize a specific racist European practice. Blackface is unacceptable and making the point so graphically is hurtful and wrong. Following the wave of recent accusations of sexual abuse against popular Twitch streamers last weekend, the livestreaming platform has begun banning some of these accounts.According to a Kotaku report and corroborated by Twitter account StreamerBans, several prominent streamers--including IamSp00n, Wolv21, BlessRNG, DreadedCone, and WarwitchTV--have been banned this week. Each one of these streamers has been accused of sexual abuse and harassment, ranging from sending sexually explicit messages to known minors to physically taking advantage of women at gaming conventions. Following on the heels of networks like NBCUniversal and Hulu--which recently pulled old episodes of TV shows 30 Rock and Scrubs where characters wore blackface--TheWrap reports that Netflix has pulled an episode of Community called "Advanced Dungeons & Dragons" from its streaming service. The self-contained episode takes place over the course of a Dungeons & Dragons campaign where Ken Jeong's character, Ben Chang, plays a drow or dark elf.When Chang shows up to the game wearing skin-covering make-up and a white wig, Yvette Nicole Brown's character Shirley says, "So we're just gonna ignore that hate crime, huh?" It's worth noting that none of the other players are dressed up, and Chang is wearing casual clothes, not drow-appropriate fantasy garb. High-profile Twitch streamer Herschel "Guy" Beahm IV (better known as Dr. Disrespect) has been banned from the livestreaming platform yet again. And this time, it may be permanent, rather than a temporary matter involving a DMCA.It's unclear exactly why or how long Dr. Disrespect will be banned. Dr. Disrespect has not said anything publicly about the situation, and searching for his Twitch account pulls no results. Twitch itself has offered no specific explanation for the move, although some have speculated that it could be the result of a DMCA takedown (of which there has been a flurry recent), which may only result in a temporary ban.We've reached out to Twitch for comment, but were given the same generic statement Twitch already offered the wider community: "As is our process, we take appropriate action when we have evidence that a streamer has acted in violation of our Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.
