Destiny 2's Moments of Triumph are here for the Year Three, giving players a new way to show off their dedication to destroying aliens and taking on other Guardians across the solar system. The yearly pile of Triumphs sends players out to conquer a little piece of all that Destiny 2 has to offer, and this year, it's pushing players to complete the five raid activities that will be disappearing with the release of the Beyond Light expansion.July 7, or 7/7, is considered "Bungie Day" among fans of the developer thanks to Bungie's proclivity for the number 7. To celebrate, a whole bunch of new things are now available in Destiny 2. In addition to the Moments of Triumph goals and rewards, there's also a new Exotic quest, Growth, that will unlock the new Ruinous Effigy trace rifle. There's also new story content pushing players to help prep the evacuation of Titan, Io, Mercury, and Mars before the Darkness takes them.The Moments of Triumph are probably what will keep players busiest, though. The activity presents players with a new Triumph Seal they can earn, provided they're willing to play a whole bunch of the game. It also dishes out additional rewards, though--including a new Sparrow, new emblems, and a new Ghost shell. And if you complete enough Triumphs, you'll also unlock special, real-world merchandise in the Bungie store. Jurassic World Dominion is about to start filming again in the UK, becoming one of the first major studio movies to resume production amid the COVID-19 crisis.Only two weeks into filming back in March, Universal pulled the plug and announced that production would stop due to ongoing concerns about the global pandemic. Watch out Amazon--Walmart is preparing to announce a new membership program of its own that will compete with Amazon Prime. This is according to a report from Recode, which states that Walmart's subscription--Walmart+--will cost $98 USD/year and include a lot of perks.These include same-day delivery and discounts on gas at Walmart's fueling stations. Subscribers will also get early access to deals, sources told the site, along with some kind of "video entertainment." Walmart sold its streaming service, Vudu, in April 2020.Walmart+ will formally launch later this month, according to the report. PUBG Mobile, the iOS/Android version of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, has launched its first-ever exclusive map. The new battle royale arena is called Livik, and its designed with quick matches in mind. Livik arrives as part of the 0.19.0 patch, which introduces many new elements to the game.The update is available now, and will take up about 1.84 GB on Android and 2.13 GB on iOS, so set some space aside. The update, detailed on Reddit, introduces many changes and additions, but the map is the highlight.Livik is a Nordic-style map that measures just 2km by 2km. 52 players can dive in, and matches are guaranteed to end within 15 minutes, so expect a lot of early bloodshed. Ahead of Ubisoft Forward this weekend, nearly 30 minutes of Assassin's Creed Valhalla gameplay from an early build has found its way online.The footage, which is being bounced between hosts as Ubisoft attempts to scrub it from the internet, gives us our first real look at the female version of Eivor, after only the male version was featured in the game's two recent trailers. The footage covers a lot of ground, showing off some of the game's open-world, naval gameplay, lots of melee combat, and an assault on the real-life Burgh Castle in East Anglia.The footage is grainy and there are aspects that look like they will be polished before being shown off officially, but as a small slice of what to expect for Valhalla it's a comprehensive leak. Valhalla looks to be retaining many of the structural elements from Assassin's Creed Odyssey, including dialogue choices and role-playing aspects that might affect the narrative. Fans have been waiting a while for the latest update for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, and it's almost here. Title Update 4 was delayed due to the onset of the coronavirus crisis, but it will make its way to PC, Xbox One, and PS4 on July 8 at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET. It adds the fearsome black dragon Alatreon to the game, which can change its elements at a whim.As a dev diary video notes, the update also includes a new variant to the ice wyvern, dubbed Frostfang Barioth. This rugged monster has the ability to inflict the frostbind ailment, which makes it much more difficult to avoid its onslaught of attacks. As always, both of these new monsters have exclusive armor for players to craft from their loot.The patch includes several more general changes to the game, such as the ability to meld special tracks that will allow players to hunt specific monsters in the Guiding Lands.
