Recently, Twitter users raced to get banned from the US Army Esports official Discord server, with the influx of users causing the server to shut down completely to new users. Now, with the Discord server still unreachable, people have taken to the US Army's Twitch chat instead, Vice reported.During a stream on Wednesday night where Green Beret Joshua "Strotnium" David played Call of Duty: Warzone, esports personality Rod "Slasher" Breslau posted a video of him getting banned after asking about war crimes. Breslau discovered that the Army had automatically moderated the phrase "war crimes" after attempting to ask "whats your favorite us war crime?" After changing it to "whats your favorite u.s. w4r cr1me?" Breslau then linked the Wikipedia page for United States war crimes, a tactic also used by users speedrunning bans on the Army's Discord, and was banned moments later.After the video was posted to Twitter, other users decided to join in on speedrunning bans in the Twitch channel by mentioning US war crimes. The developers of Gears 5 have introduced a major change to how you unlock new content in the game, and the update comes just a few months before the game is made playable on Xbox Series X.Through the new Operation 4 update, Gears 5 has "completely revamped" how new content is unlocked, developer The Coalition said in a blog post. Animal Crossing: New Horizons is still going strong several months after release, but a recent major update, which added wet suits, swimming, and new NPCs, also broke one part of the game. Players have reported that zen bridges built on the highest level of their islands could no longer be crossed after the update, which is quite the bother.Thankfully, update 1.3.1 has patched this issue, so you'll no longer be trapped on one side of the bridge. As part of a celebration of Patrick Stewart's 80th birthday, his long-time friend Sir Ian McKellen has dished some goss on their history together. In early 2019, Annapurna Interactive released Outer Wilds, an action-adventure game about exploring a strange solar system. Months later, Obsidian Entertainment came out with The Outer Worlds, an action RPG about exploring a strange solar system. The short clip shows Breaking Bad's Giancarlo Esposito smoking a cigarette, with a short message that we'll see more to come at the event.The leak revealed that Esposito will appear in Far Cry 6, which is supported by this tweet coming from the official Far Cry account.
