Deadpool's creator, Rob Liefeld, continues to believe that Deadpool 3 may never happen. He told Collider in a new interview that another movie might not be made, and he's OK with that."You know what? There may not be another Deadpool, and I'm fine. Because I have to live with the fact that I had two amazing experiences, two movies I'm extremely proud of, I love knowing everybody on those movies," Liefeld said. "I love Ryan [Reynolds], Josh [Brolin], Zazie [Beets], David [Leitch], Tim Miller. All of them. The work they did was fantabulous, those movies are here to stand the test of time. You know, but in the world we live in, nothing is guaranteed. And it takes a lot to make movies. And post-quarantine, it's weird."This lines up with what Liefeld said in May, when he said he believes the Deadpool franchise has "set sail." Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Death Stranding is out now on PC, and players who didn't get the chance to experience Hideo Kojima's unusual, yet still prescient take on the post-apocalypse now have a fresh way to experience it. Playing as Sam Porter Bridges, you'll make many deliveries across an alternate North America changed by a supernatural event that has forever blurred the lines between life and death. In addition to a variety of quality-of-life changes and upgrades for the PC release, Death Stranding now comes with a slew of items paying homage to Valve's Half-Life and Portal franchises. On the surface, this new side-story featuring a mysterious imposter who admires games from Valve may seem like another set of references to games and broader pop-culture that you'd expect to see in a Hideo Kojima game. But as it turns out, this extended side-story offers some surprisingly useful perks for Sam, along with a fun payoff at its conclusion. However, it should be noted that this side-story spans across the entirety of Death Stranding. To see this storyline to its finish, you'll need to complete the main story of the game and reach its post-game chapter. In this spoiler-free guide, we're going to tell you how to take part in this questline, and what you'll need to do to get each Valve item in Death Stranding on PC. It all starts with an email marked with a λ symbol in Chapter 2, and from there, you'll get a total of six emails that make some bizarre references to Portal and Half-Life. And as you'll come to find, the requests from these emails run much deeper than the ramblings from a supposed Valve fanboy. So with that, here's how to get each Valve item in the game.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Remastered is releasing on August 27, but it'll be missing a major feature from the original GameCube version. The game's Japanese Twitter account has confirmed that the game will only feature online multiplayer, and you won't be able to set up an offline co-op session. The tweet below, roughly translated, says that the game does not feature offline multiplayer, with online play prioritized so that more people would be able to play together.公弿”¾é€ãªã©ã§ã‚‚ã”紹介ã—ã¦ãŠã‚Šã¾ã™ãŒã€æœ¬ä½œã¯ã‚ªãƒ•ラインã§ã®ãƒžãƒ«ãƒãƒ—レイã«ã¯éžå¯¾å¿œã§ã™ðŸ™é–‹ç™ºã®éƒ½åˆä¸Šã€ã‚ªãƒ•ラインã‹ã‚ªãƒ³ãƒ©ã‚¤ãƒ³ã®ã©ã¡ã‚‰ã‹ã‚’é¸æŠžã™ã‚‹å¿…è¦ãŒã‚りã€ã‚ˆã‚Šå¤šãã®æ–¹ã«éŠã‚“ã§ã„ãŸã ã‘るよã†ã€ä»Šå›žã¯ã‚ªãƒ³ãƒ©ã‚¤ãƒ³ãƒžãƒ«ãƒãƒ—レイをé¸æŠžã„ãŸã—ã¾ã—ãŸã€‚#FFCC #クリクãƒhttps://t.co/vZzJGXiASW — FFクリスタルクãƒãƒ‹ã‚¯ãƒ« リマスター å…¬å¼ (@FFCC_PR) July 15, 2020The original GameCube release had couch co-op, but with a twist--extra players beyond the first would need to connect with a Game Boy Advance link cable and play on Nintendo's handheld device. Getting together three extra players who all owned the console and the link cable meant that co-op Crystal Chronicles was a fairly niche activity.Interestingly, a team of four can tackle the game online as long as just one person owns it. A Lite version demo will let you play through the full game if the host owns it, or three dungeons with other folks who downloaded this free version.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Imagine being able to take back every mistake you make, instantly, reliving each moment over and over until it plays out as you hoped. In less astute hands, it could feel like an exercise in trial and error. In Desperados 3, however, it unfolds in masterful fashion, providing ample scope for you to dream up a multitude of creative plans alongside the ability to reset the board in a flash should the plan fail. It's a rapidfire process of forming an hypothesis, testing it and tossing it aside. By encouraging experimentation at every turn, Desperados 3 proves a stealth tactics game where invention thrives.Stealth games can often degenerate into a loop of quick-saving and quick-loading. Desperados 3 is built around that loop, an aspect reinforced by a tutorial which instructs you on how to quick-save and quick-load before it tells you how to deal with an enemy. It's hammered home by regular pop-up notifications informing you of the time since you last quick-saved. You can customise this reminder--tweaking the delay or disabling it entirely--but the fact the default setting is to nudge you every 60 seconds ought to stress the importance of quick-saving.Archetypal gunslinger John Cooper and his friends are rather fragile, even on the normal difficulty setting, while the cadres of thugs, gunwomen and assorted rifle-toting outlaws they find themselves up against are very much of the "shoot first, ask questions later" mindset. So when a plan heads south--as even the most meticulously observed ones are wont to do, usually when one of the gang gets spotted or occasionally a carelessly discarded body is found--it's very much a case of the quick-load and the dead.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

If a youthful obsession with Japanese samurai cinema and an audiobook version of Musashi have taught me anything, it's that if you want to be a great swordfighter, having a connection to nature is important. Skill with a weapon isn't purely driven by physical strength and technique, but also by the acuity that comes from observing trees, mountains, and rivers. Something like that. While I can only make guesses as to how inspirational the rural areas of feudal Japan would have been, the scenic island portrayed in Ghost of Tsushima, an open-world 13th-century samurai epic, is one that often stirs something inside me. Beyond being a game centred around flashy sword fights and the journey of Jin Sakai to becoming a proto-ninja, Ghost of Tsushima invites you to lose yourself deeply in its grasslands, forests, and mountains. And though the tasks you're given often aren't as brilliant as the colour of the leaves, there's certainly something wonderfully humbling about just riding your horse through this beautiful environment and taking it all in. Solo: A Star Wars Story certainly wasn't the worst Star Wars film, but it was the least profitable, and because of that its chances of getting a sequel are slim. But at least one person at the center of the original movie is keen for a follow-up--Alden Ehrenreich, who played the younger Han Solo.In an appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, picked up on by GameSpot sister site Comicbook.com, Ehrenreich has talked about where he would like to go with a Solo sequel. Asked if would like to come back, the actor said that he would, but that "it would have to be the right version of it."Ehrenreich says that the movie ends at the point where his favorite aspect of the character is starting to kick in. "It’s when he becomes that guy at the end, that’s the guy we love," he says. "So getting to that, and going from there is interesting, so we’ll see."Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

After the review scores for The Last of Us Part II came in--and they were very good--writer-director Neil Druckmann sent an email to his team to thank them for their hard work. Druckmann has now shared some insight on what he said in the email, including his response to the haters.Speaking to actor Troy Baker, who plays Joel in the game, Druckmann said he originally wanted to send thank-you texts to every developer, one by one. However, the team's sheer size made that impossible.Druckmann said he was writing a text to art director John Sweeney, with whom he clashed often throughout development, and he began to cry.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

The Paper Mario series thrives on a clever irreverence that can be hard to maintain. Its outlandish scenarios mash the absurdist, dreamlike world of the Mushroom Kingdom and the mundanity of the real world. It takes jabs at the very concepts that inspire it, nodding knowingly at the audience and whispering, "This whole thing's kind of weird, right?" It's a fun take on the usually-earnest Mario games, but that kind of slyness turns grating when the bits--or, in the case of a game, systems--that are supposed to prop it up don't work, which is where the last couple of Paper Mario games have struggled. But in surprising course-correction, Paper Mario: The Origami King's most clever trick is how its overhauled combat complements its sharp wit, turning the series' Achilles' heel into one of its biggest strengths.Paper Mario: The Origami King's conceptual gimmick is how its titular origami king, Olly, transforms the flat cutouts of the Paper Mario universe, folding them into subservient, 3D origami figures, and kidnaps Princess Peach along with her entire castle, wrapping both up in a wall of colorful streamers. So now Mario, along with Olly's repentant sister Olivia, need to flatten everything out again. The origami premise adds a nice visual flair to the already-gorgeous papercraft look of the series, and you get to see yet another take on Goombas, Shy Guys, and Koopas, even if this time they're imbued with a slightly creepy energy.Like other Paper Mario games, The Origami King is less about plot and more about throwing a joke at you at every turn, whether it's a smart turn of phrase, one-off bits that reward you for exploring its environments with a gag or item, or extended setpieces that deliver killer moments. Not every joke or bit lands, but they hit far more than they falter: a theater play that quickly takes a turn for the weird, a guessing game that has you desperately looking at a Snifit's face for any sign of emotion, an extended sequences that riffs, of all things, on The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. The Origami King is consistently sharp, using both Mario characters and its interactivity to tell some great jokes.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com
