Desperados 3 is built around that loop, an aspect reinforced by a tutorial which instructs you on how to quick-save and quick-load before it tells you how to deal with an enemy. It's hammered home by regular pop-up notifications informing you of the time since you last quick-saved. You can customise this reminder--tweaking the delay or disabling it entirely--but the fact the default setting is to nudge you every 60 seconds ought to stress the importance of quick-saving.Archetypal gunslinger John Cooper and his friends are rather fragile, even on the normal difficulty setting, while the cadres of thugs, gunwomen and assorted rifle-toting outlaws they find themselves up against are very much of the "shoot first, ask questions later" mindset. The long-in-production Avatar sequels, as well as the upcoming Star Wars movies, have been pushed back by a full year, Disney has announced via a Variety report. Director James Cameron commented on the announcement with a statement saying the delay was due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic."As many of you are aware, due to COVD-19, we were forced into an unexpected lengthy delay in starting the live-action filming we are currently doing in New Zealand," Cameron said. Halo Infinite's gameplay debut at the Xbox event was focused exclusively on showcasing the campaign, which features open-world elements and some new tools for Master Chief to play with. Chief among them is the grappling hook, known as the grappleshot, which stands to have a major impact on gameplay. However, while it is included in Infinite's multiplayer, it will not be something you have access to at all times.The briefest of insights into Infinite's multiplayer component was shared as part of a 343 Industries blog post. It confirms that new weapons and equipment (including both the grappleshot and Drop Wall, the deployable energy shield seen in the gameplay demo) will be available in multiplayer. But in order to use them, you'll need to first pick them up on the map. It's unclear if they'll have a limited number of uses once you do so--the grappleshot operates on a cooldown timer in the campaign--and it seems like we'll need to wait for more information. 343 says it'll be "talking more about multiplayer details soon."Also confirmed is four-player split-screen co-op support for Halo Infinite. This is a feature first announced back in 2018, but given how things can change, there was perhaps some question of whether it would indeed make the final cut. The upcoming live-action remake of Mulan will not meet its August 21 release date. The film has been delayed once again due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and a new release date has not been announced by Disney."Over the last few months, it's become clear that nothing can be set in stone when it comes to how we release films during this global health crisis, and today that means pausing our release plans for Mulan as we assess how we can most effectively bring this film to audiences around the world," a Disney spokesperson explained in a statement, via The Hollywood Reporter.Mulan was originally set to open in March, then again in July before settling on August 21. However, given that many movie theaters around the world remain closed because of the pandemic, its release being paused shouldn't come as much of a surprise. Watch out The Office and Scrubs, there's a new show with a retrospective podcast on the way. Saved by the Bell is going to get the episodic breakdown in a new podcast called Zack to the Future and it'll be hosted by none other than Zack Morris himself, Mark-Paul Gosselaar.The news comes from Variety, which reveals Gosselaar hasn't actually seen the show since he finished filming it over 20 years ago. Now, he'll be rewatching the first season to break it all down. Back at E3 2018, Microsoft announced an ambitious beta-testing program for Halo Infinite that would see developer 343 Industries invite people to test the game ahead of launch and give feedback to the studio. The next instalment in the Tom Holland Spider-Man series has been delayed. Sony Pictures has announced that the sequel to Far From Home is now scheduled to premiere on December 17, 2021.Previously, it was slated for released on November 5, 2021, so this is a delay of a little over a month. The movie's new December 17 release date was the same date for Avatar 2 until Disney moved it to 2022.Far From Home ended in a dramatic fashion, and the film teased the return of another famous Spider-Man character, so the third movie is certainly going to be highly anticipated by fans. Halo Infinite has added a second composer. Developer 343 Industries confirmed as part of the game's big showing that Ori and the Blind Forest's Gareth Coker has come aboard to co-compose the music for Halo Infinite alongside Curtis Schweitzer."We're huge fans of Gareth, known most recently for his work on the Ori soundtracks," Halo boss Chris Lee said in a blog post. "Gareth's work can be heard throughout the campaign including one of my personal favorites we refer to internally as 'Escharum's theme.'"Escharum is the new villain in Halo Infinite--he is the leader of the Banished. PUBG's Update 8.1 is now live on PC, and it heralds a lot of changes to the battlegrounds. Along with introducing Season 8 to the game--along with the expected new battle pass--the patch has brought along an entirely remastered version of the Sanhok map, featuring redesigned landmarks and new loot. Update 8.1 should be coming to PS4 and Xbox One in the near future, though it's already available on the console test servers.As the below patch notes detail, Sanhok has been rebalanced from the ground up, largely based on player feedback. For example, the flat expanse of the old Quarry has been replaced by a multi-level construction site with rope bridges and more cover from snipers. The Docks location has been replaced by a vacation spot christened Getaway, which has a boardwalk, a dance club, and many buildings to duck into. The new version of this map is almost completely unrecognizable, and players are going to have to adapt quickly if they want to claim a win.Perhaps the most intriguing addition in Update 8.1 is the concept of "loot trucks," heavily armored vehicles that drop loot when they take damage. Destroying a loot truck will spawn a large load of very valuable items, including a chance for pre-skinned exclusive items that come flush with attachments.
