The latest teaser for 2020's new Call of Duty game appears to have confirmed its rumored 1960s setting. We'll likely be going back to an espionage-filled Cold War Black Ops shooter after Treyarch's last few games have taken us into the future.A teaser site unveiled that had teased a 12:00 clock in its corner has now revealed a new image. The image features today's date and "1961-1962" on the top of a piece of paper. The rest of its contents have been redacted, but it certainly fits in line with the mysterious and conspiratorial Black Ops games. In the first entry, it was heavily implied the brainwashed protagonist was involved in the JFK assassination.Teaser for Call of Duty 2020 A video on the teaser site includes several references to the Cold War and nuclear weapons, and visiting one of the URLs listed on a sticky note also includes a short letter detailing strategy and a cryptic message about battles being won before they are fought. The video, which appears to have changed after a few hours, also discussed tensions in East Germany and the importance of the space race, including a speech from JFK. Since starting with EA Access on Xbox One, the subscription service has adopted new names according to the platform you're playing on. With the service now heading to Steam, EA is consolidating everything under one new brand: EA Play.EA and Origin Access will now simply be EA Play, irrespective of whether you're subscribed on Xbox One, PS4, Steam, or through Origin directly. Similarly, Origins Access Premier will now be known as EA Play Pro--both EA Play and EA Play Pro will be available on both Origin and Steam.Despite the name change, the fundamentals of each service are the same. EA Play will give you access to a vault of games that is updated periodically, often with EA's own titles months after their initial release. You'll also have access to new games ahead of launch, with time-limited trial periods that allow you to retain any progress should you purchase the game at a discounted price. Covering the history of video gaming can be daunting as there is so much history, but High Score actually breaks each episode up by genre, from fighting games to shooters to adventure gaming and more. It feels a lot like the series Toys That Made Us with fun animations keeping the story moving. It's right up there with King of Kong as far as I'm concerned. WB Montreal has been teasing its next game since way back in September 2019. That was before, you know, everything. But the DC Fandome schedule notes we'll finally see its formal unveiling, rumored to be a Batman game called Gotham Knights.A WB Montreal reveal is slated as one of the first panels for the event on August 22, to take place at 10:30 AM PT. Publisher Activision has announced that Call of Duty Mobile's Season 9 starts on Saturday, August 15. Titled Conquest, the new season introduces a fresh battle pass, an added game mode, and more.The headlining feature of Season 9: Conquest is the extra Battle Royale areas. The in-game Battle Royale map has been updated to include four new locations for players to loot weapons and battle enemies in. This includes Campground, Dormitory, Outpost, and Radar Base, all of which house the new Armor Plate item that repairs damaged armor so that you can stay in the fight a little bit longer.
