Codemasters has delivered again with F1 2020, recreating the high-octane racing action and suite of driving options to cater to every tier F1 fan. It's a looker too, with highly detailed car models and tracks with alluring lighting, all of which should run better on PC if you have the right graphics card.A new patch for F1 2020 has cleaned up some small bugs and at least one instance of a crash, but most notably it adds support for Nvidia's Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) for players using RTX cards that support it. DLSS 2.0 lets you reduce the internal rendering resolution of a game before the image is reconstructed using AI to your native resolutions. It's a nifty technique that increases performance with a barely noticeable visual hit, which should help you lock your framerate in F1 2020 if you've been struggling.Elsewhere, the update also adds support for a new racing wheel on PS4 while fixing an issue with Xbox wheels that controlled both your car and camera in unison. Smaller fixes address some interview segments in the game's career mode and a bug that would miscalculate fuel limits on races with rain. Life certainly finds a way for the original Jurassic Park trilogy. Just as Netflix got the rights to stream the classic dino adventures, they will leave the streaming service at the end of September. Interestingly enough, the new animated Jurassic Park series from Dreamworks, Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous, will debut September 18.The two-month span of being on Netflix to help promote the Jurassic World series will become common practice some industry execs say. The reason being is that studios look to maximize sales of their libraries in the absence of new product while streaming outlets are looking for content they can promote as “new” on their services on any given month.For example, the Harry Potter series was promoted with HBO Max's launch but those movies are slated to head to NBC's Peacock for six-months starting in October. Anime streaming service Crunchyroll is changing a few things up for its customers. The company has announced new tiers for its service that offer a wide variety of features for those who want to watch anime. Previously, free and premium tiers were available, but now, there are a couple more.First and foremost, the free tier still exists for those anime fans on a budget who don't mind ad-supported content. New episodes of shows, however, will be available one week after the premiere. If you want to watch anime without the ads, you'll have to sign up for the Fan Tier, which will cost $8 a month. This also grants access to Crunchyroll's full anime library and access to simulcast series with premiere in Japan.Additionally, there is the Mega Fan tier for $10, which allows for offline viewing and access to Crunchyroll's digital manga library. The Entertainment Software Rating Board has apparently dealt with an entirely different hot coffee controversy than the one you've heard of. Plenty of game events this year have been canceled or otherwise shifted their plans, but The Game Awards will still proceed. Organizer Geoff Keighley talked about how the event will still take place, on-schedule, albeit in a completely digital format."What I will say about it is, we have a very interesting plan for the show this year," Keighley told IGN. "We're definitely doing it. A lot of people are [asking], 'Are you delaying it? The Oscars are being postponed, are you postponing The Game Awards?' We are absolutely not. Blizzard Entertainment has announced that a brand-new original animated series based on World of Warcraft will debut this Thursday.Shadowlands Afterlives, the first original animated series by the company, will premiere during Gamescom 2020's Opening Night Live, which starts on August 27 at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET. The Powerpuff Girls is one of the most beloved animated shows of the 1990s and 2000s. It made a return to screens in 2016 in a new rebooted series, and it has now been reported that a live-action version of the show is on the way.According to Variety, the new Powerpuff Girls show is in development at The CW. Whereas the animated series focused on a team of very young superhero crimefighters, in the updated live-action version, the Powerpuff Girls will be "disillusioned twentysomethings who resent having lost their childhood to crime fighting," and who must reunite to help save the world.The project is being developed by writer/producer Diablo Cody, the Oscar-winning writer of movies such as Juno and Jennifer's Body, and Sleepy Hollow producer Heather Regnier. The trials allow players to compete against each other by representing their respective country, which is determined by the country of your account's origination. These trails range from clearing out enemies while avoiding civilian targets to completing an obstacle course in the fastest time possible. The players and countries with the most medals will receive an assortment of rewards, including vehicle skins, XP tokens, vehicle horns, calling cards, and Legendary weapon blueprints.
