Kena: Bridge Of Spirits was one of the most promising games to emerge from the PlayStation 5 reveal event back in June. Now, thanks to a Game Informer cover story, we have new details on the cozy adventure game, including the fact that it takes two seconds to launch from the console's dashboard.This isn't from a suspended state, either--the game just loads very fast. According to Josh Grier, the developer's chief operating officer, the team had a loading animation planned but "it just loads the game so fast" that there's no time for it.As one of the few games confirmed for a PS5 launch, the story gives us a few hints of the upcoming console's features, including the fact that Kena will use Pikmin-like friends called the Rot to solve puzzles and battle enemies. Up to 100 of the Rot will appear on screen at one time on PS5, and less will appear on PS4, though this will have no effect on gameplay.The PS5 version of the game will also utilize the DualSense's new haptic feedback for attacks, including tension on a bow. "The triggers on the DualSense controller have resistance on them, so we’re utilizing that for the heavy attacks, but also for the bow," developer Mike Grier says.If you buy Kena: Bridge of Spirits for PS4, you can upgrade for free when you get your PS5. Lego has revealed its second batch of fan-created ideas that it is considering for production sets, this time including designs based on Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Portal 2, and Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout.Lego Ideas are fan-made sets that are voted on by the community. Those that reach over 10,000 supporters are then collected and submitted to Lego for review, with a handful potentially making their way to production. In Apple's September 8 court filing, the tech company is now seeking damages from Epic over breach of contract. "Although Epic portrays itself as a modern corporate Robin Hood, in reality it is a multi-billion dollar enterprise that simply wants to pay nothing for the tremendous value it derives from the App store," the company stated in the filing.In addition to wanting Epic's external payment system permanently stopped and removed, Apple wants all earnings and profits generated as a result of Epic making it possible for players to bypass the App store's payment system. Apple also claimed that it has been "injured in its business and has suffered damages, loss of goodwill and product image, and other harm."Apple's filing is in response to Epic's preliminary injunction against Apple to get Fortnite back on the App store. Epic's Apple developer account was terminated on August 28, and prior to that, Epic's appeal for a restraining order was partially denied. Each season in Animal Crossing: New Horizons brings with it a new set of seasonal DIY recipes and materials to collect. While summer has just a handful of shell-related DIYs and only one seasonal material, the summer shell, fall has three different sets of recipes with quite a few different resources to find throughout the season. The first of these sets uses a combination of two materials you can find starting on the first day of autumn: acorns and pine cones.In New Horizons, fall begins on September 1 in the Northern Hemisphere and March 1 in the Southern Hemisphere. We've learned a little more about the Fall Guys lore thanks to a delightful interview with the developers conducted by The Gamer. One of the more interesting takeaways from the interview is regarding what happens to a Fall Guys blob when they fall off the map.Lead designer Joe Walsh described what the Fall Guy is feeling when they crash to their death. "A moment of displacement, serenity, zen-like detachment from all worldly and physical bonds...
