CD Projekt Red, the studio behind upcoming open-world RPG Cyberpunk 2077, has reportedly instituted a mandatory six-day work week that will be enforced until the launch of the game on November 19. Bloomberg reports that an employee, speaking under conditions of anonymity, has indicated that some staff have been working nights and weekends for over a year.Additionally, Bloomberg states that, in an email, studio head Adam Badowski told the entire team that this was required to polish the game. "Starting today, the entire (development) studio is in overdrive," the email reportedly reads. This means that developers are required to commit to a normal work week of five days, along with an additional paid day (required by Polish labor laws) on the weekend, bringing the work week to six days.Badowski also reportedly addressed a previous position stated by the studio that mandatory overtime would not be part of Cyberpunk 2077 development process. NBA 2K21's next-generation edition for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X now has a release date. 2K Sports has confirmed that the next-gen edition will begin its rollout on November 10 as a launch title for the Xbox Series X and S consoles.The professional basketball game will then arrive for the PS5 as a launch title on November 12 in the console's launch markets, including the US, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and South Korea. The writing of author George R.R. Martin spawned one of the most popular fantasy TV shows ever with HBO's Game of Thrones, but Martin didn't love every scene in the show.Martin told Entertainment Weekly that his least favorite scene in the show's eight-season run came at the very start. Figuring out who's an imposter and who's just nervous is your main job in Among Us, while also scrambling around the ship to repair systems and bank points on your own. But spotting someone's murderous intent can be very difficult, especially since you can't always tell whether another player on your ship is actively helping you, or just pretending to.Luckily, there are a lot of things players do that can give you clues as to whether they're on your side or just waiting for a chance to snack on your brains. We've compiled a quick list of things that can tip you off to an imposter's identity. Keep your wits about you, watch everyone around you, and identify the telltale signs of the monster among you and you might just make it out of Among Us alive.The Person Nearest A Body Usually Did ItThis is an easy one, but worth mentioning: if you pass someone leaving a room and find a body right afterward, the chances are extremely good that the fleeing party is responsible. Anybody who spots a body and isn't the imposter would, in most cases, immediately report it, and if you're not the imposter, you have an incentive to check every room you enter for lurking enemies--so you would probably have spotted the body if you were in the same room as it. Publisher Bandai Namco has announced that Season 4 of Tekken 7 kicks off this fall on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. With the start of Season 4 comes a new character, an additional stage, and various gameplay updates.Headlining the Season 4 update is the added character Kunimitsu, the daughter of Kunimitsu from the original Tekken. This second-generation Kunimitsu shares a lot of similarities with her mother, including the fox masks both kunoichi wear. She's agile and ferocious at close-range, with abilities that allow her to juggle opponents high into the air before slamming them back down to the ground.Along with Kunimitsu is a new stage, Vermillion Gates. The CW's Batwoman premiered less than a year ago, but it's already undergone a major casting change. In May, star Roby Rose revealed that she was stepping down from the lead role as Kate Kane. Instead of recasting the character, Season 2 will feature an entirely new Batwoman, Ryan Wilder, to be played by Javicia Leslie. Have you ever wanted to use a stalk of corn to shoot kernels at your friends? If so, there's a new shooter that's right in your wheelhouse, and it's currently at the top of the Xbox One's digital charts. That game is Shotgun Farmers, and it sounds like a bizarre fever dream triggered by an autumnal trip to the pumpkin patch, complete with vegetable-themed weapons like the long-ranged Snigeragus and a literal pineapple grenade. Also, your missed shots grow more guns, which seems strangely appropriate.A few factors have likely led to the surprise success of the game. For one, its asking price is only $10, which is much less than other paid shooters; for another, the farm-themed gunplay is friendly for all-ages; and finally, developer Megastorm Games has promoted the game heavily on social media under the name "QaziTV," particularly the platform TikTok. Many of its posts on the service have more than 1 million views.QaziTV has uploaded videos to YouTube and TikTok that detail future plans for the game, including a Gun Game/Arms Race style mode called Crop Swap. Fans of farm-based puns and simple arena shooters may find a lot to like here. Shotgun Farmers was originally released on PC back in March 2019, and has just become available on Xbox One, making its sudden social media-fueled success similar to that of the hidden role game Among Us. Minecon is being replaced with Minecraft Live, which this year will be held as a virtual event. Mojang noted in the event announcement that attendees will be able to vote on the next Minecraft mob, and now the studio has shown the three you get to choose from.According to the announcement, all three hail from other Minecraft games so the vote is really on which one to import into Minecraft proper. Those include the Iceologer from Minecraft Dungeons, who occupies snowy and icy areas. If brought into Minecraft, it will occupy mountainous areas and fling ice clouds at you. The Moobloom from Minecraft Earth is a passive cow with flowers growing on its back, and it has a special interaction with bees that make your Flower Forest biomes even more floral.
