Back in August, I had the chance to play Little Nightmares II, and in my preview I talked about the uneasy trust between main characters Mono and Six. I theorized it could present a new kind of fear for the series--if you can't fully trust your partner, then you're never really safe. But having now gotten a chance to play another preview of Little Nightmares II, I'm beginning to wonder exactly how much Mono and Six's partnership factors into the game.The new demo takes place in the Hospital environment, which seems to pop up much further into the game than the Forest area seen in the first demo--Six has her trademark yellow raincoat in the Hospital, something she didn't have prior to Mono meeting her in the Forest. Both Mono and Six need to go down an elevator, but it doesn't have power. A nearby panel reveals that they'll need to find two batteries. I can't go through the door on the left because it needs one battery to open, but the door on the right is already ajar. My path is clear.After going down a hallway, Six hoists Mono into the next room. And just like that, she's cut off from me. I can't bring her with me and must face the future horror alone. I was very surprised. The earlier demo contained puzzles and a chase sequence where Mono and Six needed to work together in order to ultimately get away from this freaky Hunter, which seemed to imply that Little Nightmares II would solely focus on brand-new "co-op" puzzles, ones where you had to figure out what both you and your NPC partner had to do in order to solve them. The hit game Among Us has been hit with a hack that both advertises a streaming channel and sends a political message. The studio InnerSloth was forced to issue a hasty patch in response to the hacks.The hack would spam text chat messages advertising a streamer and threatening to damage your phone if you don't subscribe. It ended with a "TRUMP 2020" message. The hack became widespread rather quickly, with some players estimating it had afflicted hundreds or even thousands of matches.InnerSloth issued a statement via Twitter saying it was "super duper aware" of the issue. It announced an emergency server update and encouraged players to stick to private games in the meantime. Electronic Arts has provided an update on Apex Legends for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam, confirming when the battle royale launches on both platforms.Apex Legends hits Steam on November 4. Origin players can switch back and forth between that and Steam, letting you transfer all progress and unlocks between the two. Meanwhile, Steam players will get free Half-Life and Portal gun charms for logging in during Season 7. The new Apex Legends season also starts on November 4, the same day the game hits Steam.EA said the Nintendo Switch port of Apex Legends has been delayed to 2021. An exact release date or window has yet to be announced. Game director Chad Grenier said the "unexpected new challenges" of this year impacted the game's development on Switch. I usually try to hop on Among Us once a week to link up with my friends back home and get rowdy either trying to get away with virtual murder or ratting each other out. But they like to keep things spicy. So, they put together a sort of alternate game mode by customizing the in-game rules and getting us to follow certain gameplay etiquette. And with the vewy scawy Halloween season right around the corner, this makeshift game mode is quite fitting and helps freshen up the traditional paces of Among Us.Basically, think Dead By Daylight, or any similar game, but in Among Us. Here's the setup: you have one imposter and nine (or however many) crewmates, but the imposter announces who they are right at the beginning of the match. The imposter counts to 10 while the crewmates scramble to get out of sight, complete tasks, hide, and make mad dashes to dodge the imposter once they start hunting down the crew--there's no voting phase necessary, just survival.What makes this style of play work is the tweaking of the custom rules. Here, you'll want to have the imposter's kill cooldown timer set to the lowest possible (10 seconds) so they can really act like a serial killer. However, you'll have to limit their vision range as low as possible (0.25x) to make it challenging for them to actually find crewmates. This should be treated as a rumor, though a credible one, as Collider cited an anonymous source, with TheWrap corroborating.Hard evidence of the casting is lacking. Along with their anonymous source, Collider cited Manganiello appearing on Twitch with gray hair as the main thing pointing to this information. Manganiello has been sporting a salt-and-pepper beard for years, so it's tough to call that genuine evidence, but it's not impossible either.Deathstroke's time in Snyder's corner of the DC cinematic universe was relatively short-lived until this point. Genshin Impact has undoubtedly had an eventful first month of operation, with millions of players globally jumping into the world of Teyvat. With the passage of time comes the first change of the promo banner for Wishes and an introduction of a new five-star character, Klee.Klee is the featured character on this new promo banner, titled Sparkling Steps. Though you may have already been introduced to Klee and her abilities in the quest "The Mystery of the Girl in Red's Treasure," this is the first chance you have to recruit her permanently.The odds haven't changed for Sparkling Steps compared to the previous banner--your chances of a 5-star roll are still quite low at 0.6%. But, as with the previous banner, if you do roll a 5-Star character, there is a 50% chance of it being Klee. The "Pity Roll" mechanics also come into play here, so if you really want Klee, you can pour all of your resources into Wishing multiple times to have a better chance. Developer Sucker Punch Productions has revealed that the first raid for Ghost of Tsushima's new Legends multiplayer mode kicks off on October 30 for PlayStation 4.The raid, titled The Tale of Iyo, is a three-chapter mission that puts players directly into the heart of Iyo's realm. Players need a minimum Ki level of 100 and a full team of four Ghosts to tackle the raid. Sucker Punch recommends players finish Legends' story and survival missions on higher difficulties in order to obtain better gear. Doing so will get players raid-ready.An exact start time for The Tale of Iyo has not been confirmed as of yet. Developer One More Level has confirmed that its upcoming cyberpunk action-adventure game Ghostrunner will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X as a free upgrade for those who own the current-gen version of the game on either console when it launches on October 27.The only stipulation to gain access to the next-gen version of Ghostrunner is to buy the game digitally. If players purchase Ghostrunner on the Microsoft or PlayStation stores, they can upgrade to the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series S/X version at no extra cost. Though the next-gen consoles drop this November, the next-gen version of Ghostrunner won't be available until 2021.
