When the Xbox Series X was first announced, the memes began almost immediately. Its design resembles a PC tower, or at least that appears to be Microsoft's goal, but it also looks like a refrigerator. The company has fully leaned into the joke, however, and presented Snoop Dogg with a working Xbox Series X fridge.In a video deleted from Snoop Dogg's Instagram but saved by deals guru Wario64 on Twitter, the rapper showed off the fridge's design. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is getting a Game of the Year Edition, and unlike many similar releases, this one is free for existing players and is for a game that actually earned game of the year awards. You only have a few more days to wait until you can play it, and a new trailer shows off the One-Armed Wolf as he clashes with dangerous enemies.On October 28 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice players will be able to download a free update that unlocks the Game of the Year Edition content. This includes previously promised boss challenge modes as well as player records and extra skins.There are actually two different boss challenges included in the update. Reflection of Strength allows you to replay one of your favorite boss fights again, and it's a feature that we'd like to see in From Software's other games instead of having to completely replay a game. Gauntlet of Strength is more of a boss rush mode, pitting you against one boss after another without any extra lives. With the difficulty of some of Sekiro's bosses, particularly near the end of the game, completing that challenge will be incredibly impressive. If you have an Oculus VR headset and were thinking about deleting your Facebook account in order to go off the social media grid, you may want to reconsider. If you completely delete the Facebook account linked to your Oculus device, you will also lose access to all VR games you purchased.You're required to link a Facebook account when using the Oculus Quest 2 headset, and if your Facebook account isn't in good standing, you will not be able to use the Quest 2 at all. Because of this connection, you must keep that account to have access to the purchases you've made. You don't necessarily have to link a Facebook account yet on the older Oculus devices, including the first Quest, but as UploadVR pointed out, support for separate Oculus accounts ends in 2023 and then all users will need Facebook.If you deactivate your Facebook account instead of permanently deleting it, you also won't be able to access any of your Oculus information. However, this can be reversed by reactivating it, while the deletion method does not have an "undo." If you make a new account, you'll have to purchase all that content again. Since its release in 2013, the PlayStation 4 has been a force on the gaming landscape, and across the last seven years, it's been clear that Sony and its gaming machine took the lead against the competition.Sony's lead with the PS4 started with some missteps by its major rival, Microsoft, with the Xbox One. In September 2011, British broadcast station ITV ran a historical documentary called Gaddafi and the IRA. Included in the documentary was footage that purported to show a 1988 attack in which the Irish Republican Army shot down a British helicopter, using weaponry purchased from former Libyan prime minister Muammar al-Gaddafi. The remastered Blade Runner adventure game was previously scheduled to release later this year, but with "later this year" quickly coming, developer Nightdive Studios isn't ready to launch the game. In fact, it has run into technical issues that have delayed it to an unspecified future date.Speaking to Eurogamer, Nightdive CEO Steven Kick blamed the delay on problems related to "old technology" and said the studio has not been able to locate the original source code or assets for the game. The source code was apparently lost decades ago after original studio Westwood was purchased by EA, and Nightdive has the more difficult task of reverse-engineering code in order to get Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition remastered.To get the game running on all platforms, Nightdive is using its own engine and with code work apparently nearing completion, most efforts are on visual updates now. Kick added in the interview that the frame rate will likely be lowered to 30 FPS with a film grain placed over it in order to better achieve a cinematic style. Pokemon Sword and Shield's Crown Tundra expansion has finally arrived. Like The Isle of Armor expansion before it, this DLC introduces a wealth of additional Pokemon and content to the games, including a brand-new area to explore: the eponymous Crown Tundra, an arctic region featuring its own storyline, cast, and wild Pokemon to catch.As was the case with the Isle of Armor, the Crown Tundra is separate from Galar proper. You don't need to clear the main storyline in Sword and Shield to be able to access it, but you will need to speak to a certain character to reach the new area and content. Pokemon Sword and Shield's Crown Tundra expansion is now live, and Pokemon Go is celebrating the DLC's release with some new content. Developer Niantic has announced that a few new Galarian Pokemon are now available in the game for a limited time, as are new Crown Tundra-inspired avatar items.As previously teased, Galarian Ponyta has been added to Pokemon Go. You'll be able to encounter the new Galarian form in Raid Battles, and if you have enough Ponyta Candy stored up, you can evolve it into Galarian Rapidash.Galarian Farfetch'd is also appearing once again in the wild, and now you're able to evolve it into Sirfetch'd. Unlike most other Pokemon, however, Galarian Farfetch'd doesn't evolve via Candy; rather, you need to make 10 Excellent throws while Galarian Farfetch'd is set as your Buddy in order for it to evolve. Developer Insomniac Games has opened up about some of the enhancements Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales will see on PlayStation 5 thanks to the improved hardware.In an interview with Game Informer, Insomniac discussed the ways the game takes advantage of the PlayStation 5. The first being no loading screens, with creative director Brian Horton saying that "if you die or if you fast travel there are near-instant loads." Horton went on to add that the game "just fades down and then fades up," stating Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales has a seamless world with no loading thanks to the next-gen system's SSD.Three other areas deal with performance. Specifically, graphical fidelity in the game world is higher, character performances will seem more believable, and action is smoother and more explosive.
