Publisher EA has announced that, in collaboration with LucasFilm, Star Wars: Squadrons on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One will get brand-new cosmetics based on The Mandalorian.There are eight customization items in total that Squadrons players can unlock starting on Wednesday, October 28. This includes bobbleheads and hanging accessories for the cockpits, holograms that can be viewed inside the ships, and decals for starfighters.This also includes a Baby Yoda (or "Mysterious Creature") bobblehead that sits on the dashboard of any New Republic ship. In the past months, Twitch has struggled with onslaughts of DMCA takedown notices and the use of non-licensed music on the platform. The company recently set up a Twitch Soundtrack service to offer licensed music to streamers, but some music organizations aren't convinced that Twitch is taking the necessary steps to address the issues.According to Variety, Twitch and its parent company Amazon received a letter signed by major US music institutions, including RIAA, the Recording Industry Association of America. It accuses the platform of letting streamers ignore copyright laws and failing to secure the proper copyright licenses for the Soundtrack tool.The letter claims that Twitch did not get synch (audio-only use) and mechanical (video use) licenses for Soundtrack. It also asserts that Twitch "allow[s] and enabl[es] its streamers to use our respective members' music without authorization, in violation of Twitch's music guidelines." Apex Legends' Season 7 is just around the corner, and while we still don't know that much about it, we now have a solid date for its launch. According to developer Respawn, the new season is coming on November 4, and it will bring a fresh map to the game, as well as the requisite new character, Horizon.While details on Horizon's kit are thin on the ground, a new video from Respawn does give her backstory. Her real name is Dr. Mary Somers, and she left her home planet of Olympus to seek out a solution to her world's energy crisis--leaving behind her son in her wake. However, she was betrayed and left to drift in space by a woman who fans speculate might be Ash, another figure in the Apex/Titanfall universe. Now, 87 years later, she fights in the Apex Games in order to keep the promise she made to her son by returning to her own time.Considering Horizon's background as an astrophysicist, it's likely that her kit will revolve around manipulating gravity. Season 7's new map is titled Olympus, and it's an airborne city that looks to have a lot of opportunities for verticality, as well as nasty falls. Batwoman won't return to The CW until next year, but when it does, it will be with a new woman under Batwoman's cowl. Javicia Leslie is portraying a brand-new character named Ryan Wilder that will take on the iconic superhero mantle. And now we know what this take on Batwoman will look like.The CW has released the first two photos of Leslie in her updated Batwoman costume, which you can see below. A previously released photo showed her wearing the same costume former star Ruby Rose wore in Season 1. However, the new version of that suit includes a number of changes. Publisher Activision recently released the official launch trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, and it hits all the high points you'd expect: worldwide conspiracy, Alex Mason, the numbers, and a pretty good Ronald Reagan impersonator.For the most part, the trailer focuses on the game's campaign, which takes place in 1981 and stars fan-favorites like Mason, Frank Woods, and Jason Hudson. As with most entries in the Black Ops series, the campaign focuses on "deniable ops" and moves in the ongoing shadow war between the Soviet Union and the United States. However, don't fret: just because it's a shadow war doesn't mean there won't be a lot of explosions. The game will feature the usual CoD multiplayer modes as well as the expected zombie co-op experience as well.Activision previously revealed that Cold War will be connected to the free-to-play battle royale game Call of Duty: Warzone just as last year's Modern Warfare was, sharing progress and post-launch content.
