Respawn has released the launch trailer for Apex Legends Season 7: Ascension. Adding new playable character Horizon, Season 7 begins on November 4. We get to see a lot of the brand-new content coming to the season in the trailer, so let's break it down.Let's start with Horizon, Season 7's new character. We still don't have confirmation on her abilities yet, but we can look to the Season 7 launch trailer for clues--Respawn has traditionally left hints to a new character's abilities in these trailers. At 2:16, Horizon throws out a device that launches Crypto, Bangalore, and Bloodhound into the air, which makes them easy to shoot down. Then, at 2:43, she uses the massive device on her back to create a black hole-like vortex that drags Octane, Wattson, and Wraith together and makes them an easy kill with a single grenade. Finally, immediately following that at 2:47, Horizon gracefully descends onto the battlefield, seemingly unaffected (and possibly even reinvigorated if her dialogue is any indication) from falling down from such a high height. All three instances match (and subsequently seemingly support) the datamined leaks for Horizon's tactical, ultimate, and passive abilities.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

The latest show to come back for the reboot treatment is the popular '90s after-school cartoon Tiny Toon Adventures, which somehow despite feeling omnipresent at the time in fact only ran for 98 episodes across three seasons (which are now streaming on Hulu). In a release, HBO Max and Cartoon Network announce they have gotten a series order for two seasons of Tiny Toons Looniversity to revive that world and its cast of characters resembling younger versions of the countless popular Looney Tunes animals."Tiny Toons Looniversity will capture all the clever, subversive, and smart humor that made Tiny Toon Adventures such a standout series," said Tom Ascheim, president of Warner Bros. Global Kids, Young Adults, and Classics. "Fans old and new will love to laugh at and with these characters all over again."The series will take place in the titular university, "where young dreamers become professional toons." In this reboot, based on the release, it sounds like the younger versions and full-fledged versions of these characters will be interacting more directly, and more frequently.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

If you have a PSVR, you can keep using it on PlayStation 5--but you'll need an adapter to connect the PlayStation Camera to your new hardware. It's a simple enough process, but you'll need to locate your PSVR's serial number to prove that you're an owner. You can find that number on the back of the black processor unit, the box that connects to both the headset and your PlayStation console.According to a camera adapter FAQ, the adapter will start shipping in mid-November for the Americas and Europe. You'll be notified when it ships, but you may need to wait up to two weeks for delivery. Be aware that the adapter cannot ship to PO boxes, and once you've put in your request, you can't change the shipping address.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Dystopic action-RPG The Ascent was originally planned to launch this year--possibly even alongside the Xbox Series X and Series S--but the game has been pushed into 2021. When we do get our hands on the loot-and-shoot cyberpunk game, however, it will be free via Xbox Game Pass. The first game from the small team at Neon Giant, The Ascent is targeting full 4K resolution and 60 frames per second gameplay on both PC and Xbox Series X. The cyberpunk world is yours to explore with up to three friends, and you'll have access to multiple vertical levels rather than a flat plane like we see in the isometric action-RPG genre. It also features a double-aiming mechanic for more combat variety as well as "cyberwear" and augmentations in classic cyberpunk fashion. As you can see in the gameplay footage, The Ascent's combat plays out much like a twin-stick shooter, with a red laser coming from weapons to help with aiming as you avoid attacks. The verticality extends to the combat, too; you can aim lower or higher to stagger enemies more easily or attempt to hit them behind cover. With destructible elements in the environment, you have more freedom with how you tackle each fight, too.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com
