Many of us have had an unexpected amount of time on our hands this year, and it's a situation that might not be changing any time soon. Luckily, Lego is here to keep our brains and hands occupied, with the upcoming release of its biggest ever set--the Lego Roman Colosseum. The Roman Colosseum is made up of a staggering 9,036 pieces, which is considerably more than the previously biggest set, the 7,541-piece Millennium Falcon. This latest set will be available on November 27, which is Black Friday. It will set you back $550, and while that's obviously a lot of money, it's actually $150 cheaper than the Falcon set.The Roman Colosseum set includes many real life details from one of the world's most famous landmarks. These include a recreation of the three distinct stories from the Colosseum, the columns of each story, the "ribs" of the spectator stand, and a variety of contrasting colors to show the aging of this nearly-2000 year old building. It sits on an oval base, ensuring that builders can display any side of the Colosseum. Check it out below:Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

The Demon's Souls remake is now available exclusively for PS5, and like the original and the Dark Souls series, the titular souls are of huge importance to your progression. You use these not only for currency but also to level up your character, and it can be difficult to collect enough to make a real difference if you don't know where to look. That's where we come in! We know the ideal spot to gather an easy 4,500 souls, which is enough to buy plenty of items, weapon improvements, or make several upgrades to your statistics. How to easily farm soulsFor this method, head to the Shrine of Storms from the Nexus and work your way through until you reach the Ritual Path Archstone. From there, proceed forward until you can drop down, then go through the tunnel you find and use arrows to shoot the Reaper. This will kill all the other enemies around it, giving you a healthy bounty of souls in very little time. When doing this, you need to make sure you aren't surrounded by the apparitions in this area. They can close in and get on either side of you, and you must be precise with your Heavy Arrow shots to take down the Reaper quickly.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Nintendo has kicked off a new limited-time Special Battle in Super Mario Bros. 35. This event runs through Sunday, November 15, and like previous Special Battles, it limits the stage rotation to only a specific handful of courses: in this case, Worlds 5-1 to 6-4.Alongside the new Special Battle event, Nintendo has also rolled out another update for Super Mario Bros. 35. The Ver. 1.0.2 patch primarily resolves a handful of issues, including one that prevented players from throwing fireballs while underwater in certain situations, and another that let players open courses they hadn't yet unlocked. You can see the full patch notes below. It’s time for another Limited Course Special Battle in #SuperMarioBros35! The first new update since the release of Destiny 2's Beyond Light expansion is here, and it's a relatively minor one. While we've seen some serious issues cropping up, hotfix 3.0.0.2 resolves a variety of problems, including one that led to a gun being disabled.Part of the big 3.0 update included changing fire rates on many weapons, and this update adjusts the Rose hand cannon (the one tied to the Exotic hand cannon Lumina) to have its intended 140 RPM firing rate. It had previously been set to 150 RPM, leading to the gun being temporarily disabled. Meanwhile, the Exotic grenade launcher Witherhoard remains disabled following this update. For Xbox One and Series X/S players, the update addresses a crash when interacting with the Vault at the Tower, so you should have no need to fear diving into your library of items. Across all platforms, there are also unspecified backend changes related to stability.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

The PlayStation 5 is out now in most regions and launches on November 19 worldwide. Those upgrading have some new features to look forward to, including the DualSense's haptics. And while there are quite a few differences, turning off the PS5 console may be a puzzling one. This is because the PlayStation Button on PlayStation 5 operates differently than it does on PlayStation 4. The DualShock 4's button, when tapped, takes you to your home screen. This is where you see tiles of your games, with the most-recently played displayed first. Holding the button brings up the quick menu overlay, where you can navigate down to Power to restart the PS4, put it in rest mode, or turn the console off completely. Power can also be accessed through the home screen by navigating to the top icons and scrolling to the right. To access the quick menu overlay on PlayStation 5, though, you must tap the PS Button on the DualSense--not hold it. Holding the button brings up the home screen where you scroll through your games. You can access Power from the home screen, too. But to reach the quick menu overlay to turn the PS5 off, the DualSense's PS Button has to be tapped.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

McFarlane Toys has had the DC license for almost a year now, with some of its biggest releases to come at the beginning of 2021. This fall gave us the likes of Azrael from the White Knight Universe and Dark Nights: Metal Batman, which are quite impressive. It's good to see McFarlane take advantage of the slew of new characters in the past five years, even if they are just different Batman variations and give fans a slice of something new.For the rest of 2020 and early January, fans are going to be able to get Flash and Batman-Earth 52 two-pack, Flashpoint Batman, and Jason Todd as the Red Hood. McFarlane Toys provided Gamespot with some of the recent releases, and some sneak peeks at what's to come. The Flash And Batman Earth-52 Two-Pack $39 This two-pack recently released and is just one of the two-packs in these upcoming waves. The Flash packaged here does some slight variations from his single pack version: he has a very angry face and is lacking the Speed Force effects. Both figures have the same level of articulation except in one spot: the waist. With the Flash, his lightning belt takes away that particular point of movement. Red Death's costume, however, removes that detail and is able to actually turn his waist. The real star here is Red Death. No question. Originally, It seemed McFarlane Toys just heavily altered a Flash figure, but no, even the body sculpt is different. Red is exponentially more shredded than Barry, but he does have the same thigh molding as you can see Flash's ribbing underneath his razor piping décor. Red's legs have a completely different molding to be more true to his comic book form and have a more sheen finish compared to Barry's flatter yellows. His bladed features all have the same glossy finish, which is a nice texture break from this more matted finish with the dark maroon base. Red's head sculpt came out nicely too, with a solid paint job helping those colors pop. The FlashBat symbol has a semi-metallic finish, but it could have used a stronger finish. See on Amazon Flashpoint Batman $20 Thomas Wayne makes his action figure debut, sort of. While there was a Real Action Heroes 1:6 scale released a few years ago, this is something more accessible for collectors and fans. Also, it's one incredible upgrade. The head sculpt is pretty standard and has the silhouette of a Batman, but the added wrinkles and the paint job really set this one apart. The cowl has a semi-gloss finish with the red eyes having a full gloss finish and catches light easily. The stubble for his beard is a nice touch that shows his age without going overboard. His cape has a matte feel to it, but almost a sandy look on the outside, so it can capture some light and you can see the folds and drapes of it. On the inside, it's definitely a flatter color which brings out the red more of his costume. His bat symbol spans across his chest. It's really striking up against the gunmetal grey of his bodysuit. The gauntlets are chunkier than the standard fair of other Batmen and have dings and cracks that indicate battle damage. The guns he comes with have a scratchy paint detail instead of an all-black direction. The boots, much like his gauntlets, have battle damage in the sculpt. There are scrapes, bullet holes, and dents to really show you he's been through the wringer (which if you've read Flashpoint, you'll understand why). This has been one of the sharpest releases all year long. See at Target Red Hood Price TBD Now McFarlane announced the Nightwing with the red crest and Red Hood two-pack already, but the single-packed Red Hood was a bit of a surprise. So, let's take a look at just Red Hood as the Nightwing, while is a great figure if you've missed out on the black and blue version. But it's simply just that: a repaint.Red Hood is all-new, built from the ground up, and maybe a candidate for the figure of the year. His chrome-finished helmet captures your attention immediately. His brown jacket as a rubbery feel to it that kind of mimics the feel of leather. It's soft in comparison to the tactical gear he's sporting. The high collar does get in the way of his head movements, but nothing too serious. However, the torso can't turn around easily because of the jacket length. His waist is fine though, but a little difficult to maneuver eventually. Once you get him going though, it gets easier. His guns use the same mold from the Flashpoint Batman's but they have a silver metallic paint job as well as small bats on the barrel of the pistol. The rest of Jason's costume has a matte black look with his bat symbol having a matching texture. The bodysuit sculpt and his padding, all the way down to the details of his boots, feels very realistic with nothing feeling out of place. The holsters have a strip across them tied to his belt and have a satin finish, with his belt buckle having metal plates. The small color breaks really help the design. The Nightwing and Red Hood two-pack is on pre-order now, with a release date in early January 2021. The single pack Red Hood should be out sometime in December 2020.Note: Red Hood is not available as a single figure yet, but the two-pack featuring that figure and Nightwing is available on Target for $40. A frightening situation at Ubisoft Montreal headquarters on Friday afternoon appears to have been resolved without any injuries. Police were called in for what it described as a hostage situation in Saint-Laurent, prompting "a large number of resources" to be deployed to the area. According to a press release issued on the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal website, it was ultimately determined there was no threat, seemingly confirming media reports during the incident that suggested police had been called as the result of a hoax.Reports of a police operation emerged on Friday, with local news stations broadcasting footage of what appeared to be Ubisoft employees taking shelter on the roof of the company's offices. A tweet from the Montreal police said that it was responding to a 911 call and advised people to stay away from the area. It later said that no threat had been found and begun evacuating the building.Ubisoft has employees working both from home and from the office. Eric Pope, community developer on Hyper Scape, said he was on a call with employees who had to "leave abruptly."Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Mega Evolutions made their debut in Pokemon Go back in August, and since then, developer Niantic has been fine-tuning the feature to make it easier for more players to enjoy. The Xbox Series X and Series S launched this week, marking a new generation and a significant upgrade from the previous gen. But this brave new era also marks a fuzzier line than console generations past, thanks to plentiful next-gen upgrades and backwards compatibility. You'll want to carry your game progress forward, which means transferring your saves. And to do this, you have a few options.Importing Cloud SavesThe easiest by far is to use Microsoft's cloud saves. This is all taken care of automatically, and the save data is associated with your Xbox Live profile. An Xbox Live Gold subscription isn't required for the cloud save functionality, so as long as you have any Xbox Live profile, your saves are uploading to the cloud automatically. That means that once you sign in to your Xbox Series X or Series S with your existing profile, the cloud saves will download and let you pick up right from where you left off.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

The Demon's Souls remake was released on November 12, 2020 as a PS5 launch game, but whether or not it will remain exclusive on the new console or eventually come to PC, either through Steam or another digital storefront, is a bit confusing. Below, we'll parse through some of the messaging provided by Sony around the possibility of a Demon's Souls PC version and speculate on whether or not we think it's likely to happen. Is Demon's Souls Remake Getting a PC Version? An early gameplay reveal trailer for Bluepoint's Demon's Souls remake closed out with a screen clearly stating in the footnote, "Also available on PC." It also referred to the game as a "PlayStation exclusive," with the added note, "Not available on other consoles for a limited time." This led many to believe that the Demon's Souls remake was a PS5 console launch exclusive and that it would eventually make its way to other platforms, including PC.Demon's Souls remake trailer bumper suggesting a PC version.According to Sony, this messaging was "human error." The trailer was promptly taken down and replaced with a new version of the trailer that did not include the PC announcement. When pressed for clarification by Kotaku on whether or not this means Demon's Souls is not coming to PC, a Sony representative said, "Yes, it's just PS5."Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Call of Duty: Warzone is getting a new field upgrade soon. Players have found a bomb drone, a combination of two existing in-game items, in some private matches of the battle royale."Wow they literally took a tactic the community used and made it part of the game," said Redditor Freshout420 in a thread about the bomb drone. The new item combines C4 and the recon drone, letting players set the C4 off after navigating the drone to a target. So I found this new "Bomb Drone" in a red key card bunker during a private match today. from r/CODWarzonePlayers have been making bomb drones of their own since the first season of Warzone when the game launched in March. One player would throw C4 onto a recon drone while their teammate flew it towards an enemy squad. They'd coordinate and set the C4 off once the drone got close enough. It's just one example of the creativity the community has used on the battlefield.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

One of the highlights of Avengers: Endgame was seeing Star-Lord and Thor interact. If you enjoyed watching the two lunkheads posture at each other, you're in luck. Chris Pratt will appear in the upcoming movie Thor: Live & Thunder, reprising his Guardians of the Galaxy role, Variety reports.Plot details are light--non-existent, really--but Avengers: Endgame saw Thor leaving Earth aboard the Guardians' ship, the Benetar, after Thanos' defeat. The movie implied that Thor would be hanging out with the Guardians for a bit; Thor both lost his homeland of Asgaard in Thor: Ragnarok and bequeathed his title as ruler to Valkyrie in Endgame, leaving him adrift.Pratt joins the MCU's other remaining Chris, Chris Hemsworth, along with Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie. Christian Bale is returning to the world of comic books as an un-named villain in the movie, too. The big news with Thor: Love & Thunder, though, is the return of Natalie Portman as Jane Foster. The actress is coming back to the MCU formally for the first time since Thor: The Dark World. Portman recorded "a little bit of voice-over" for her short scene in Avengers: Endgame, according to co-director Anthony Russo, but her appearance was re-used footage from The Dark World. In this film, Portman will wield Mjolnir, presumably re-telling some version of her arc as Thor in the comics. Director Taika Waititi returns, too, helming the follow-up to his well-liked take on the God of Thunder in Thor: Ragnarok.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com
