Watch Dogs: Legion has been receiving regular updates with bug fixes and quality-of-life features, but with that work done Ubisoft says it's looking ahead to the next big thing: multiplayer. The online mode is expected to release with a title update in early 2021.In a State of the Game update, Ubisoft says that future updates will continue to issue fixes and improvements, but most title updates from here on will include new content. The company says it wanted to focus on fixing some remaining player issues before shifting resources, and now it feels is the time to make that shift. This is the first we've heard of the multiplayer mode since it was delayed in service of prioritizing bug fixes. When it launches, the online mode will allow up to four players to roam the open-world London and take on missions together. The multiplayer options will also include the first Tactical Op and a new PvP mode, Spiderbot Arena. The blog also promises it's looking into more game modes and surprises, and it will be detailing those along with the Season Pass story content next year. Co-developer Raven Software will deploy a new update for Call of Duty: Warzone on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S soon that re-enables the recently removed XP tokens players were saving up. The patch notes are outlined below. All XP tokens earned prior to the start of Season 1 are now usable in both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone. Fortnite's Joy Ride update was one of the battle royale's best batches of new content in recent memory. It added semi-realistic sports cars, trucks, and sedans that are more fun to mess around with compared to Fortnite's previous set of vehicles. So it's a shame that you can't actually drive them all.A good number of cars spread across the map are locked with a yellow boot. It's almost as if there is some sort of secret parking enforcement agency working extra hard to prevent players from having fun. Nothing ruins a plan to escape the storm faster than finding a car parked in the middle of nowhere with a boot on its tire. Some players have gotten so annoyed that they've asked Epic to add bolt cutters, an item that could break the boots, to the battle royale.Rip in chat for john wicks car being booted in his own garage from r/FortNiteBRWhat's even worse is that Epic Games removed helicopters from the game at the beginning of Season 5. Mudflaps, the big semi-trucks, had also been removed due to a bug that made players invisible. Mudflaps have now been re-added to the game, but it seems like there are fewer ways to get around the map with every update. At least the Operation Snowdown Winter added the X-4 Stormwing planes back to the game.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

One of Call of Duty: Warzone's most infamous glitches has returned, according to a number of players. There have been reports that some players have used the glitch to hide in the storm, healing themselves over and over again, until they are the last person standing. The glitch takes advantage of Warzone's stim, a piece of tactical equipment that quickly brings you to full health. Players have found a way to break the game and use the stim infinitely, allowing them to survive the gas. Other players are usually left alone in the final circle, doing whatever they can to survive until the storm kills them.I regret to inform you that Unlimited Stim Glitch™ is back. First game this morning had two people doing it against each other. from r/CODWarzone"I posted about the stim glitch returning last night and this is the clip from the game," said Redditor Konspiracy in a thread with another example of someone using the glitch. "Looking at the game stats, the cheater got their win with 0 kills, 11011 damage and 10971 damage taken...I’m not sure how they got so much damage without any kills."Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

There's no way around it--2020 has been an unusual year many of us will likely be thankful to put behind us. Luckily, the handful of days left for this year still have exciting new releases to look forward to (like Wonder Woman 1984 and Pixar's Soul, both on Christmas Day). The less than two weeks 2020 has ahead will be a great runway for looking forward to what's on offer from the likes of Hulu, Netflix, Shudder, and of course Amazon Prime Video. Check out Amazon's release list for the month below.Easily the most packed day for releases will be New Year's Day, which will see a staggering 76 newcomers to Amazon's platform. There's pretty much something for everyone that day, but it'd be hard to top Face/Off as something to help set the appropriate tone for 2021. If you are correctly sensing a lack of any sarcasm whatsoever in the previous sentence, you should also check out our recent overview of 23 things you need to know before watching (or rewatching) the utterly ridiculous and awesome 1997 action epic starring John Travolta and Nicolas Cage. But if that doesn't do it for you, also arriving that day is Star Trek Beyond, the 2016 sequel in the reboot series which also is the 13th film in the Star Trek film franchise overall. By all standards, the film didn't dazzle critics or audiences, but its conventional plot and interest in having both Spock and Kirk searching for something different--they're bored of going where no one has gone before--makes the film a bit of a curiosity. Even if you've seen it before, a rewatch is merited--it's one of the quieter and more unusual entries in the Star Trek canon.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

The third season sees Daniel LaRusso heading back to Okinawa, where he once again encounters Chozen, whom he battled to protect his romantic interest, Kumiko in Karate Kid Part II. Ahead of the season, actor Yuji Okamoto looks at the past and future of his iconic '80s villain in a new interview with EW."I never forgot about Chozen, because he was a big part of my life," Okumoto said. Tom Cruise earned headlines earlier this week after a recording leaked of the actor screaming at crew members in London for not following COVID safety protocols while shooting Mission Impossible 7 and 8. The reaction to this has been mixed, as his anger was arguably justified, but the manner in which he yelled at his employees was deemed a bad look. Now, one major member of Hollywood has come to Cruise's defense: George Clooney.During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show, Clooney says he believes Cruise "didn't overreact, because it is a problem." Clooney's Stern appearance was to promote his new film The Midnight Sky, though he digressed at length to speak about the threat COVID still continues to pose on productions."I have a friend who is an [assistant director] on another TV show who just had almost the exact same thing happen with not quite as far-out a response…" Clooney said (via Entertainment Weekly). "You're in a position of power and it's tricky, right? You do have a responsibility for everybody else, and he's absolutely right about that, and if the production goes down a lot of people lose their jobs. You know, people have to understand that and they have to be responsible. It's just not my style to take everybody to task that way."Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Bungie has released a new hotfix update for Destiny 2. Update 3.0.1.3 is out now and is largely concerned with resolving various bugs, but it also brings back a Warlock Exotic that was recently disabled: Vesper of Radius. Read on for the highlights and the full patch notes.Vesper of Radius was disabled earlier this month, meaning Warlocks couldn't equip the chest armor for a period of time (even as it was being sold by Xur). Vesper allows you to emit a pulse of damage when you cast a Rift, but an exploit was allowing that damage to be dealt without needing a Rift. That bug is now fixed, and with that, the Exotic is back in the rotation.Another issue this patch resolves involves Stasis crystals, which could be used to wedge your character between it and a wall. By doing this, it was possible to move through closed doors. Another exploit that allowed checkpoints to be used to rack up solo flawless dungeon triumphs has also been addressed.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

The treetops are glistening in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Snow came to Northern Hemisphere islands in Nintendo's village simulator earlier this month and players have used the seasonal change as inspiration for some incredible displays.December saw the addition of new seasonal items, including a handful of toys that are sold on a special display at Nook's Cranny. Players can collect snowflakes, gather special festive DIY recipes, and even build a snowboy every day by rolling two snow balls that spawn somewhere on the map. If they do it with "perfect" dimensions the snowboy will reward them with special winter DIY recipes. Players have used the rewards from completing these activities to create a snowy paradise.A Winter Village. Credit:mellowcoveA spot for hot chocolate. Credit:brusheswithdarknessThese new toy items, like dollhouses, are great for forced perspective displays. Players put small objects together to make it seem like they are far off. One player used all the color variants of the dollhouse to make a hillside winter village, complete with a horse drawn carriage at the base.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com
