Although the next Jurassic World movie has been delayed until 2022, fans of the rampaging dinosaur franchise will be able to check out Season 2 of the animated show Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous very soon. Diablo 4 was announced back at BlizzCon 2019, but since then, details have been pretty thin on the ground for the hotly-anticipated sequel. Over the past few months, Blizzard has revealed bits and pieces of the game's design, and now, a blog post from the developer shows off some of the major changes to the game's itemization system, which is arguably the core of the Diablo experience.According to the blog post, perhaps the biggest change coming to the itemization system is the removal of Mythic tier loot. Instead, they'll be replaced with Uniques, items that always appear with the same "affixes," Diablo's term for the properties and bonuses found on items in the game.In Diablo 4, Magic (blue) items will be able to have the most powerful regular affixes. Rare (yellow) items will be able to have up to five, while Legendary (orange) items will have four regular affixes and one "legendary" affix that is rolled at random. One of America's most notorious serial killers is Richard Ramirez, better known as Los Angeles' Nightstalker. Fortnite's most recent update brought some enhancements to the battle royale on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. Both versions of the game can now run at 120 fps--the Xbox Series S can also support 1200p resolutions.These FPS improvements only work in Fortnite's standard battle royale and creative modes--it won't work in any limited-time modes, party royale, the battle lab, or Save the World. The latest DLC for Gears 5 is now live on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S that introduces a new campaign with the characters from the game's Escape mode. December has been a very good month to be a Star Wars fan. At Disney Investor Day, 11 new projects set in the universe were announced. Now, another exciting surprise comes via Good Morning America, which debuted new, never-before-seen footage, outtakes, and bloopers from The Empire Strikes Back--the clip shows the cast and crew in high spirits, goofing around, and genuinely excited for the phenomenon that Star Wars was becoming."Everybody comes back to work and everybody is sort of more enthusiastic than they were the first time," says George Lucas in the clip. "The first time, everybody was very confused by the whole thing, and didn't know they were up against. Now, they had a better picture of what it was we were making. It was fun to get started again."Although this look back does reveal how spirits were high (like Mark Hamill debuting the Tauntaun dance, for example), it also documents all the uncertainties the production still faced. Over the past months, console resellers have made a fortune due to the ongoing PS5 and Xbox Series X / Series S shortages caused in part due to the Covid-19 epidemic. Now, according to VGC, six lawmakers in the UK are calling for legislation that would prohibit the sale of gaming consoles and computer components at prices that are "greatly above" the MSRP.Six MPs from the Scottish National Party tabled a motion to call for this move, meaning that it's very much early days for any possible legislation. The motion also says that the resale of goods purchased using automated bots should be made illegal. The MPs compare this potential legislation to already-introduced bills that control the activity of ticket resellers, who must divulge their identity and the exact details of the seat being sold.Though it's difficult to know how many PS5s and Xboxes have been resold this holiday season, every indication points towards a large volume. An analysis from a data engineer concluded that scalpers made $82 million in sales and $39 million in profit since September from next-gen consoles and high-end computer components, with services like eBay and PayPal taking a cut of around $6.6 million and $2.4 million, respectively.
