Things take a turn in Hitman 3 once you get to the third mission in Berlin called Apex Predator. You don't have a proper handler here, and there are no Mission Stories to help you seek out your targets and objectives. This is a full-on sandbox-style mission where you need to take out several targets amid the huge crowds of ravers who've turned an abandoned power plant into a nightclub, and it's quite the challenge. In this mission, you have a total of ten possible targets of which you only need to eliminate four--your object requires five kills, but the first one is a given when using the original entry point. This gives you the freedom to assassinate whichever targets you want however you want, if you can track them down, of course. As with any Hitman mission, there are many options for entry points, exits, methods of assassination, disguises, and more. Here, we walk through some tips for your first run, but if you want specifics on how to eliminate this mission's various targets, be sure to check out our assassination and challenges guide for the Berlin level. Otherwise, check out our other guides below.Dubai WalkthroughDartmoor WalkthroughChongqing WalkthroughMendoza WalkthroughAn Easy Entry PointWhen you start the mission for the first time, you'll be on the side of a road with a gas station in sight. Stick to the right side of the road to find a grassy path down to the power plant. You'll pass a dead body and a watchtower (which you can use later on as a sniping spot). Eventually, your freebie target walks by, leaving him open for you to sneak up and kill him. Take his earpiece and get down to the power plant.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Nintendo has started a new Twitter account, though you probably shouldn't expect big game announcements or other fan-focused tweets. Instead, this account is focused on corporate happenings, specifically for investors. The Nintendo Co., Ltd account issued a welcome tweet announcing its focus, which appears in English. Ninja Theory became a major developer thanks to the success of Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. Since then, the studio has focused on two projects: the upcoming sequel Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 and a psychological horror game dubbed Project Mara. While Project Mara's exact nature remains enigmatic, Ninja Theory has released a new video that shows off some of the tech powering the game's photorealistic graphics, and the results are quite interesting. In the video above, Ninja Theory co-founder and chief creative Tameem Antoniades explains how the studio decided to recreate a real physical location for Project Mara, which takes place entirely inside one apartment. In order to achieve the desired levels of photorealism, the studio's artists jury-rigged a scanner to capture high-quality references of real-life materials. In a similar move, the studio hired a specialized firm to scan the interior of the apartment to make sure they recreated every detail.According to Antoniades, Project Mara represents a substantial "shift" in the way that Ninja Theory approaches art. Instead of creating objects, the artists at the studio are now more focused on creating "systems that can create that object, and infinite variations of that object." This involves the use of procedural generation to recreate nuances such as the way dirt and dust collect in a corner of the apartment, or drip spatter on the back of a kitchen sink.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Acclaimed PlayStation exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn has been out on the PC for a while now. While sources like Digital Foundry initially ruled its PC port "deeply disappointing" due to technical issues like an inconsistent frame rate even with top of the line graphics cards, developer Guerrilla Games has issued multiple patches to help alleviate some of the complaints, and the new Patch 1.10 is no different.According to the patch notes, this update fixes some known crashes and improves performance. However, Guerilla also says that future patches will be less frequent due to continued development on Horizon Forbidden West. The update also contains a minor but welcome change: the game's graphics settings are now stored in a text file instead of a binary file, meaning users can mess with them much more easily than before. There's still no word on a precise release date for Forbidden West, though it is scheduled to come out sometime this year for the PS4 and PS5.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Despite there being so much in the works in the burgeoning Willy Wonka-verse, it's been a while since there have been any updates--until now. Variety is reporting that the spin-off film produced by David Heyman (Harry Potter, Paddington) that's been in development since 2016 is starting to take shape. Reportedly, the project is simply titled Wonka, it's a reboot, and Warner Bros. "hopes to begin shooting within the next four months with the goal of releasing it theatrically on March 17, 2023."Heyman has been working with writer Simon Rich on Wonka, which bodes well for the upcoming project. Rich is a former Saturday Night Live scribe who has collaborated with the likes of Seth Rogen (An American Pickle) and Lorne Michaels (Miracle Workers, Man Seeking Woman) on some pretty far-flung but well-rooted, grounded, relationship-based comedies. Together the pair definitely truck in a very different sort of vibe than the one director Tim Burton and actor Johnny Depp loaned to the divisive 2005 remake Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Paul King (Paddington) will be directing this new version. All that's known about Wonka is the film will likely focus on the chocolatier's early days--it hasn't even been revealed if Burton's retelling of Wonka having an overzealous dentist father will be considered canon. What is clear, however, is there is a ton more Wonka on the way. Netflix has ordered not one but two Charlie and the Chocolate Factory animated series from Thor: Ragnarok and Jo Jo Rabbit director Taika Waititi.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Developer Bloober Team has detailed the full PC system requirements for its upcoming psychological horror title The Medium. The specifications are quite lengthy, with several different settings for players looking to achieve varying degrees of optimal performance. There are the usuals settings--minimum, recommended, high, and ultra--as well as three options for ray tracing enabled. In order to get the extra visual enhancements provided by ray tracing, players will need either Nvidia's GeForce RTX 2060 Super, 2080, 3060 TI, or 3080 graphics cards. The GeForce RTX 2060 Super and 2080 are easy to get ahold of, as they're both a couple of years old now. However, the newly released 3060 TI and 3080 graphics cards are harder to come by, with supply continuing to struggle to keep up with demand. On top of the GeForce card, players will also need an AMD processor to run the game. This piece is variable, ranging from the cheaper R9 390X to the $650 RX 6800XT card. Players will want to opt for the more expensive processor if they want to enable ray tracing in the game.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the biggest games of the past few months, but the controversy surrounding the game continues to grow even a month after launch. Now, developer CD Projekt has acknowledged that the company is facing a second class-action lawsuit from a law firm representing its own investors, who claim that the company misled them regarding the performance of the game on Xbox One and PS4.In a regulatory statement, CD Projekt says that the "content of the claim, including its subject and scope, is the same" as the first class-action lawsuit that the company acknowledged a few weeks ago. That lawsuit was filed by the New York-based Rosen Law Firm, which represents the investors who claim that the company lied to them about Cyberpunk 2077. CD Projekt further says it will "undertake vigorous action to defend itself against any such claims." This second lawsuit was filed in the Central District of California. Several other law firms have publicly announced that they're filing suits against CD Projekt, including the Pennsylvania-based RM Law.This lawsuit represents yet another addition to the swirling morass that has surrounded CD Projekt since the release of Cyberpunk 2077. Recently, the company's co-founder released a lengthy statement described as a "personal explanation" for why the game did not meet the "quality standard" that CD Projekt wanted the game to meet. This was followed by a substantial report from Bloomberg that described how employees felt pressure to crunch from overly ambitious studio heads.Info from Gamespot.com
