Pokemon Go is celebrating the series' 25th anniversary with the Pokemon Go Tour: Kanto, a one-day event revolving around the original 150 Pokemon. As with the original games, the event will be available in two flavors, a Red Version and a Green Version, and now developer Niantic has explained how you'll be able to choose your event version when the festivities begin later this month.How To Choose Your Event VersionThe Pokemon Go Tour: Kanto event takes place on Saturday, February 20. Before you can participate, however, you'll need to choose which "version" of the event you want to experience. Once the event is underway, open your item bag and select your Pokemon Go Tour: Kanto virtual ticket. After that, you'll see a prompt asking you to Choose Red or Choose Green. Simply tap on the event version you'd like to experience to make your choice. Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos is stepping down from his role as the chief executive of the mega-corporation. He announced that he will transition to a new role as executive chair on the Board of Directors. Andy Jassy, the former CEO of Amazon Web Services and a 23-year-plus veteran, will take over as CEO of Amazon going forward."In the Exec Chair role, I intend to focus my energies and attention on new products and early initiatives. The Monster Hunter movie will be heading for a home-video release on digital on February 16 according to a tweet from the film's official Twitter account, with the Blu-ray release to follow on March 2. These releases will reportedly include "deleted scenes, a featurette on the cast and characters, a featurette on the weaponry in the film, and a featurette detailing the journey from video game to the big screen."The movie was one of the handful of movies whose release date was actually moved up in 2020, which now means fans will have an even shorter wait to finally own the film later this month. Pokemon Go's Lunar New Year event is returning from February 9-14. The event will feature a line of Timed Research tasks revolving around Tauros, as well as increased spawns of red-colored Pokemon and other in-game bonuses.Throughout the Lunar New Year event, Krabby, Goldeen, Magmar, Magikarp, Tepig, and other red-colored Pokemon will appear in the wild more frequently than usual. Apex Legends is coming to Switch on March 9, following the start of Season 8: Mayhem. This year, though, studios are scaling back Super Bowl movie trailers by quite a bit.News comes via Variety and Deadline, both of which report that the Super Bowl ad lineup will have much less in the way of movie trailers this year compared to previous years. As part of Electronic Arts' earnings report, the company shared some details on the next Battlefield game. Management said the game will offer "all-out military warfare" and support more players than ever before for the Battlefield series.The current player cap for Battlefield is 32 v 32, so presumably this new Battlefield game will offer something more. Fortnite appears to be readying even more Mandalorian content. A teaser video released on the official Fortnite Twitter shows the hero of the popular Star Wars streaming series viewing a hologram.The tweet shows Mando viewing a hologram with the offer of a job. In the Mandalorian series, the main character makes his way as a bounty hunter before his career takes a radical turn due to an obligation to protect The Child, aka Baby Yoda.The game already added quite a bit of Mandalorian content, including a Mandalorian skin, Baby Yoda, and the appearance of his signature ship, the Razor Crest. Change is in the air at Sega, as the company is readying itself for not only an organizational restructure but also a new role for Yakuza series director Toshihiro Nagoshi. Having been involved in the Yakuza series since its inception in 2005, Nagoshi will step down as chief creative officer of Sega and will become its new creative director.A veteran of Sega whose career dates back to the mid-1990s and the company’s arcade days, Nagoshi's new role will formally begin on April 1, 2021. Sega's upcoming restructure is also designed to "integrate corporate functions and administrative operations" and "accelerate global business" according to its announcement. This will essentially allow Sega to streamline its various divisions so that it can make quicker decisions.Sega has been through some big changes over the last few months. Thor: Love and Thunder is currently filming in Australia, and now some photos from the set have leaked. The images, which were posted on social media, show off Chris Hemsworth as Thor--in a vest very similar to Thunderstrike's--Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Sean Gunn as Kraglin, and Karen Gillan as Nebula.Thor's look, at least in this scene, appears to be modeled after the Thor: Thunderstrike comic. Thunderstrike is a character created in the late-80s where supporting character Eric Masterson merged with Thor and took over the role for 30 issues. He also had a sweet goatee. However, the implications for Love and Thunder are unknown at this point.
