Chadwick Boseman has posthumously made SAG Award nomination history by receiving a total of four nominations on Thursday. No other actor has earned that many in a single year in the movie categories.Boseman actually has the further distinction of competing against himself in the outstanding performance by a cast in a motion picture category--which the actor is up for both as Stormin' Norman in Spike Lee's Netflix jungle thriller Da 5 Bloods and also Levee in Netflix's blues pioneer biopic Ma Rainey's Black Bottom. Following Boseman's death in August from colon cancer, Ma Rainey's release on Netflix in December meant it was the actor's final film.Additionally, Boseman was nominated as Levee for the outstanding performance by a male actor in a leading role category. Ahead of Mass Effect: Legendary Edition's May release, developer BioWare keeps teasing us with comparison shots of just how much the upcoming remaster reimagines the appearance of certain characters and places. The studio has now tweeted a side-by-side for how protagonist Shepard's appearance changes. The comparison in question specifically looks at the default appearance of the character in the original Mass Effect. As you would think, the change for the default female version of the character is a far more drastic change, as there was no iconic female option until Mass Effect 3.Gallery BioWare said that implementing iconic female Shepard into Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 was one of the first things the studio did for the remaster. "We've done another pass on her where we've done everything from slightly modifying some larger forms of her face or adding some medium and fine details like wrinkles and pores and specular breakup," environment and character artist Kevin Meek said.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Uncharted games, without fail, beat the crap out of their protagonist, Nathan Drake, with over-the-top action sequences. Holland's upcoming Uncharted film, in which he stars as a younger Nathan Drake, came up during the conversation, and Holland had only superlatives to offer for the movie's big set pieces. The Uncharted film has some of the "biggest action sequences I've ever been a part of," said the actor, best known for playing Spider-Man, who has had the snot kicked out of him by Vulture, Mysterio, Thanos, and Captain America. "The cuts and bruises and bangs I got from dangling off of wires and falling off things was ridiculous." If anyone can speak to cuts and bruises, it's Spidey.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Apex Legends Season 8: Mayhem introduces Fuse, aka the "Bombastic Explosives Expert." The latest addition to the roster has officially joined the Apex Games, and he arrives along with the new 30-30 Repeater and several welcome changes to Kings Canyon, which is now back in the map rotation following its removal in Season 7. If you're having trouble with Fuse's abilities, you've come to the right place--we have a few tips and tricks for how to best utilize his explosive moveset.Unlocking Fuse is an easy enough process--you just need to buy him. Head on over to the Legends tab while in Apex Legends' in-game store and then click on his icon. Per usual, the new legend costs 12,000 Legend Tokens or 750 Apex Coins, whichever you prefer. Legend Tokens are earned by playing and leveling up while Apex Coins can only be bought with real-world money. Starting at level four, you earn 600 Legend Tokens every time you level up, so that's 20 levels. 750 Apex Coins is about $8 USD.Fuse's General OverviewAlright, so now that you have Fuse, how do you use his skills effectively? Well, despite his laid-back attitude, there's actually a bit of meticulous strategy to playing as Fuse. All of his abilities are based around doing as much explosive damage as quickly and efficiently as possible, but you won't go very far if you just fire them off willy-nilly--especially while indoors as Fuse's abilities will damage him if he's caught in the blast radius. Though Fuse can be an excellent character for temporary area denial if you don't have a Wattson or Caustic in your squad (both of whom offer a more effective solution), it's not his strong suit. Fuse is at his absolute best when out in the open, spearheading his squad's offensive efforts, especially when third-partying (which, for those not in the know, is the act of joining an ongoing fight between two other squads once they've both thinned each others' numbers a little). Thanks to his abilities, Fuse can turn the tides in his squad's favor when they're launching ambushes or trying to fight off more than one enemy squad.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Posting on his Not A Blog, Martin said he made good progress on the long-awaited novel, but he won't make any promises about when he will finish it."I wrote hundreds and hundreds of pages of The Winds of Winter in 2020," he said. "The best year I've had on WOW since I began it. Why? I don't know. Maybe the isolation. Or maybe I just got on a roll. Sometimes I do get on a roll."Martin said he still has "hundreds" more pages to write before it's finished. In 2021, he hopes to be finished with the book, but he can't guarantee that he'll finish it this year.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Barely two month into 2021, and the biggest story of the year so far has been GameStop's stock price benefitting tremendously from the ongoing war between subreddit group r/wallstreetbets and hedge fund investors banking on short stocks. While the feud has seen plenty of memes, movie deals struck, and even the White House declaring that it had begun officially "monitoring" the situation last week, the only way to prove that you were really there for the Wall Street drama is with a T-shirt.Spotted by RPGSite's Alex Donaldson, UK retailer GAME has decided to cash in on the meme and has released its very own 'Game$tonks' T-shirt that'll take you straight to the moon--lunar trips probably not guaranteed.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

As part of Sony's latest earnings report, the company announced that it is losing money on every PlayStation 5 that it sells--but this is not unusual for Sony or the wider gaming industry. In its statement, Sony said it is incurring a loss of every PS5 due to its decision to set a "strategic" price point for the next-generation system. The consumer price of the disc version of the console, $500 USD in the US, is less than what it costs to manufacture it, thus leading to an overall loss.Sony did not provide a specific dollar amount for how much money it's losing on every PS5, but the company said its results during the October-December period were also negatively impacted due to higher general and administrative costs associated with launching the PS5.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Destruction AllStars is Sony's first PS5 exclusive of 2021, and having just been released online as a free game with a valid PS Plus subscription, the experience has been smooth sailing, except for one aggravating detail: the game's decision to enable teamspeak by default through the PS5 DualSense controller.Without a headset, that turns the peripheral into an input device that regularly shrieks at you from a variety of sources. These range from gung-ho drivers to screaming children, users who don't realize that nobody wants to listen to their Spotify soundtrack in the background and people whose junk food habits make for some of the grossest sound effects ever transmitted through a microphone.Destruction AllStars: How to mute random chatterWhile Destruction AllStars has no option for turning this online chatter off in its own menus, you can save your eardrums from distress with two other methods on your PS5. The quickest route towards a handy mute is to wait for voice chat to start in the game lobby, then press the PS Home Button, and finally on the Activity card press Square to mute the voice chat. Of course, this goes both ways as you don't want to be an audio irritation yourself. You can temporarily mute your own microphone by pressing the button beneath the PlayStation icon, at which point the PS5 will inform you that you have toggled the option.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com
