Comic actor and screenwriter Thomas Middleditch, best known for his role as Richard Hendricks in the HBO series Silicon Valley, has been accused of sexual misconduct in allegations stemming from a now-closed Hollywood club, according to The Los Angeles Times. In the recently published article, roughly 10 women so far--including four former staffers--at the now-shuttered, members-only Cloak & Dagger club say the business' co-founders turned a blind eye to a pattern of sexual misconduct by patrons, including Middleditch.In the report, former Cloak & Dagger member Hannah Harding detailed an experience with Middleditch that occurred on October 22, 2019, saying he approached her on the dance floor and made "lewd sexual overtures" toward her and her girlfriend. After she turned him down, he allegedly "kept pursuing her, groping her in front of her friends and several employees, including the club's operations manager, Kate Morgan." Harding also shared Instagram messages from Middleditch, expressing regret and shame for his actions.Morgan told The Los Angeles Times that she asked her bosses, Adam Bravin and Michael Patterson, to eject Middleditch from the premises and revoke his membership, but they "dismissed it." In April 2021, Amazon Prime Video has a lot of new movies and TV shows arriving to the streaming service. Producer Lena Waithe (Master of None, The Chi) is teaming with writer Little Marvin for the first season, titled Covenant. The story follows a Black family who move to the Los Angeles suburbs during the 1950s. Their new neighbors don't seem exceptionally welcoming though. Of course, there are also some otherworldly threats. This first season is a 10-part series and stars Ashley Thomas (Top Boy), Deborah Ayorinde (Harriett), Ryan Kwanten (True Blood), Alison Pill (Devs), and Christopher Heyerdahl (Van Helsing). Killing Floor 2's Spring Update is here, and it introduces a new community map, two challenging weekly modes, and two new guns to the zombie arena game. The main new attraction is the futuristic event Dystopian Devastation, which is live until April 20. The full patch notes are detailed below.The two new weekly modes, Blood Thirst and Coliseum, are the two major parts of Dystopian Devastation, and they sound quite challenging even for veteran players. Blood Thirst introduces a debuff that slowly drains the health of all players unless there are less than five zombies alive, and your usual health syringes don't work. Instead, players have to gain vitality by killing enemies or making assists. The other mode Coliseum sounds particularly raucous, since it only allows you to play as Berserkers with melee weapons, and more zombies spawn than before.The two new weapons are also of interest to Killing Floor 2 players. The first is a sonic weapon called the HRG Beluga Beat that pushes back zombies with the power of sound. There's also the Gravity Imploder, which is a grenade launcher that can fire singularities that bunch enemies up in a manner similar to Zarya's ultimate from Overwatch. John Wick creator Derek Kolstad is not writing the next two movies in the hit action series. Kolstad created the character, played by Keanue Reeves, and has written or co-written every film in the John Wick franchise to date.The news comes via an interview with Collider to promote Kolstad's new movie Nobody. Netflix's popular unscripted competition series, The Circle, is coming back for a second season this April. The streaming company said in a blog post that The Circle will debut its first batch of episodes for its sophomore season on April 14. Netflix also announced the release schedule for its other popular dating show, Too Hot to Handle.The Circle's first four episodes will premiere on April 14. Episodes 5-8 will then debut on April 21, with episodes 9-12 coming on April 28. The series finale will be available to watch on May 5.
