A 30-second teaser for the new Dexter limited series has arrived, and it's strange and unsettling. The brief teaser shows Michael C. Hall as Dexter Morgan with a concerned look on his face as he peers out from a window in his cabin to a fire burning outside. He then turns, faces the camera, and smiles. Your guess is as good as mine as to what's going on here. Many thought that Dexter became a lumberjack in isolation at the end of Dexter's original run, and it seems the limited series will pick up from there. We learned previously that the new show will begin several years after the events of the finale. Currently Hall is the only member of the original cast confirmed to be making a return. Actor Clancy Brown will be playing the show's antagonist. Paralympian actor Katy Sullivan is among the most recent additions to the cast. The Dexter revival filmed some episodes in the Boston area, but whether or not Dexter the character will go to Boston remains to be seen. The original series was set mainly in Miami.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

In New Pokemon Snap for Nintendo Switch, you'll explore a vast array of beautiful environments and capture photos of many cute Pokemon doing adorable things. So it's only natural that many players will want to bring their in-game photography to life and print their best New Pokemon Snap photos. Fortunately, Nintendo has teamed up with Fujifilm to make it possible to print photos from your Switch, but there are a few things you need to make that happen. Before you can print your New Pokemon Snap photos--or any Nintendo Switch screenshots--you will need a printer and an app. The Fujifilm Instax Mini Link is a smartphone printer with Bluetooth capabilities, and it's compatible with Nintendo Switch. However, you'll also need to download the Instax Mini Link app for Nintendo Switch, which releases on the Apple App Store and Google Play on April 30 alongside the game.Where to buy a printer for Nintendo SwitchBuying the printer and film for it will be the hardest part of this entire process. A special-edition Fujifilm Instax Mini Link for Nintendo Switch is releasing on April 30 for $100 and comes in a brand-new color: Ash White (Red & Blue). If you're willing to wait a little longer, a bundle is releasing in late May that includes the new Ash White (Red & Blue) printer and a super-cute silicone Pikachu case. The bundle will cost you $120. Listings for the special-edition printer and bundle popped up at Amazon for preorder on Wednesday, but within a matter of minutes the listings were updated to say "temporarily out of stock." We expect the special-edition printer will continue to sell out extremely fast when it officially launches on Friday, so your best bet is to be ready and keep an eye on listings starting tonight.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

So pervasive was Pokemon in the late '90s and early 2000s that it's easy to assume the franchise was an immediate hit right from the outset--but that wasn't exactly the case. As it happens, the original Pokemon Red and Green versions actually got off to a rather inauspicious start when they first launched in Japan in 1996, two years before the property made its international debut. Initial sales were so sluggish that developer Game Freak worried that the games might have missed the proverbial "last train"--and that could very well have been their fate were it not for a secret Pokemon hidden within their code.Development on Pokemon Red and Green began in 1990, only one year after the Game Boy itself had launched, but their gestation was infamously protracted. The games would take nearly six years to complete, and by the time they were finished, the Game Boy was verging on obsolescence. Making matters worse, Red and Green missed the all-important holiday release window and slipped into the early part of the next year--a traditionally slow period for game sales."We originally completed the titles in October [1995] and wanted to release them quickly. But we missed the end-of-year sales season and finally released the games at the end of February of the following year--the very worst time of year to release games!" Pokemon Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara recalled in an interview with late Nintendo president Satoru Iwata.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

When The Falcon and the Winter Soldier ended with Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) donning a new suit and taking on the mantle of Captain America, fans weren't sure how the story would continue. Now, though, it's been reported that Falcon and Winter Soldier head writer Malcolm Spellman will be tackling the next Captain America movie. And as far as he's concerned, the story of Sam's struggle as a Black man carrying the shield can't be over yet."I think these are the conversations that are inherently embodied in these characters," he said to GameSpot. "All of them embody deeper conversations that are happening in our living rooms and I think we would have been sugarcoating s*** if we had just said, 'Hey man, I did it, you know? I beat racism because I'm Captain America.' There's no point in telling stories if you're not going to use them to tell bigger stories."An important piece of that was the introduction of Isaiah Bradley (Carl Lumbly), a retired Black soldier who was part of the supersoldier program and ultimately imprisoned and experimented on by HYDRA. He rejected the idea of a Black man carrying the shield, let alone wanting to.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

However, Niantic notes that Smeargle will "only appear in snapshots a limited number of times," so you have a set number of chances to encounter a Shiny variant. The Vault of Glass raid will hit Destiny 2 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET on Saturday, May 22. The raid, which Bungie has teased since last year, is a revamped version of the first one ever released in the original Destiny. However, its addition to Destiny 2 will likely come some new elements--including the day one "Contest Mode" that has become standard for Destiny 2 raids.Bungie announced the exact release for the Vault of Glass on its This Week at Bungie blog. It also detailed what Power level players can expect to be when they take on the raid on the first day. All encounters in the Vault of Glass will be locked at 1300 Power, so players need to be at least that strong to take on the raid in its first 24 hours. Raising your characters' Power any higher than that, however, won't help you until Contest Mode ends on May 23.If you're not familiar, Contest Mode equalizes the playing field for new raids during their first 24 hours, as players race to be the first in the world to clear the new activity. The mode locks everyone's Power at a certain level--in this case, 1300--so that you don't get an advantage for having more time to play the game than other people. It also means that the difficulty of the raid is the same for everyone for that first day. Once Contest Mode ends, normal level rules apply, so the higher your numbers, the stronger you are.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com
