In Sifu, every time you die, your character will age a little more. Die enough times and the young warrior will become an elderly but highly skilled master fighter.Sifu's combat focuses on close-range fights. This encourages you to use the environment to your advantage, such as slamming enemies into walls or tripping them over furniture. You can also pick up weapons. Sony showed a new trailer for Death Stranding: Director's Cut during its State of Play presentation. The video gave a release date for the special edition, September 24, and showed off a wide variety of new tools Sam can use as he makes his way through the wasteland.The trailer promised new battles and advanced mechanics to deal with these tougher enemies, like improved melee combat and a electrifying master gun. You can also practice your skills at the firing range.While exploring the world and making your way between apocalyptic settlements, you'll have a few new tools at your disposal. Those include a cargo catapult, support skeleton, buddy bot, and jump ramp. A new fragile circuit appears to be some form of race track for you to test your driving skills. During Sony's State of Play livestream, developer Arkane Studios unveiled a new Deathloop gameplay trailer showcasing the various powers and weapons at your disposal--including Blink from the Dishonored series.The gameplay video jumps several hours into the game, where protagonist Colt "The Captain" Vahn attempts to take down Aleksis "The Wolf" Dorsey. To make this happen, Colt uses powers like Blink for faster traversal and a gravitational lift to hurl enemies into the air before filling them with lead. We also see antagonist Julianna "Jules" Blake invade the game (which could be another playing doing it), though she doesn't seem to stay for too long. PlayStation's State of Play premiered and showed off many upcoming titles including the video game adaptation of the popular manga and anime series Demon Slayer. Fully titled Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles, it covers two story arcs: main character Tanjiro's Unwavering Resolve arc and the Mugen Train arc. The MMO Guild Wars 2 is bringing back one of the game's earliest and most beloved world bosses who hasn't been seen since 2014. The Twisted Marionette world boss from the game's Living World Season 1 is returning to the game after we last saw them all the way back in 2014.The Twisted Marionette comes back to Guild Wars 2 after a seven-year break as part of the game's July 13 update. In a recent investor Q&A, Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa responded to a report accusing the company, along with competitors Microsoft and Sony, for using forced slave labor to produce its products.The Australian Strategic Policy Institute published an investigative report in March 2020 calling out a number of companies--among them: Amazon, Apple, Dell, Gap, Google, HP, Microsoft, Nintendo, Oculus, Sony, and others--for "potentially directly or indirectly benefiting from the use of Uyghur workers outside Xinjiang through abusive labour transfer programs as recently as 2019." In total, over 80 companies have been accused.The report states that 80,000 Uyghurs ("and other ethnic minority citizens") have been moved from the Xinjiang region to various factories across China. In these factories, people are monitored under "military-style management," where Uyghur citizens are subjected to forced "patriotic education" and mandatory Mandarin classes. As of today, players can start deciding the fate of the Brotherhood of Steel in Appalachia. Update 28 for Fallout 76, which brings the game to version 1.5.4.15, includes Steel Reign, the end of the game's Steel Dawn expansion storyline. Of course, the update also includes a heap of other changes, including the addition of legendary crafting, a brand-new season, and wallet upgrades.Players may want to brush up on the events of Steel Dawn before starting Steel Reign, as the latter picks up right where the former left off. The Steel Reign questline is likewise only available to players over level 20 who have finished the quest "The Best Defense." Along with a heap of new missions, players can also expect new items from the questline, including new suits of power armor.Outside of the Brotherhood's drama, as of today players can start to forge even more powerful weapons and armor thanks to legendary crafting. With this new crafting method, players can turn their normal, unimpressive items into one, two, or three-star rated legendary items.
