Actor Antonio Banderas has been named Harrison Ford's newest co-star in the next Indiana Jones film, which still doesn't yet have a title. The casting announcement was first reported by Deadline, though it hasn't been revealed who Banderas will be playing or how heavily his character will feature in the film. For that matter, pretty much everything in the film's plot is under wraps. All we know for sure so far is that Indiana Jones 5 recently began filming in the UK, and that its cast also includes Fleabag creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Hannibal actor Mads Mikkelsen. Boyd Holbrook, Shaunette Renee Wilson, and Thomas Kretschmann will also co-star. The movie is being directed by James Mangold (Logan, Ford vs. Ferrari), who took over for Steven Spielberg after he dropped out, making Indiana Jones 5 the first entry in the entire series to not be directed by him.Images of Ford from the set recently emerged, showing the 78-year-old actor in costume. In late June, Ford reportedly injured his shoulder while rehearsing a fight scene for Indiana Jones 5--though it was not expected to affect production in any significant manner, with filming to shift course around the actor while treatment was evaluated.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Call of Duty's Season 4 Reloaded update for Black Ops Cold War Zombies adds lots of new content with the launch of Mauer der Toten, including a powerful new Wonder Weapon. The CRBR-S Wonder Weapon starts off as an energy-based pistol with an orbiting repeater that fires an extra shot when you fire. To upgrade it into one of three additional variants, you’ll need special weapon Mod Kits that will attach onto the CRBR-S, modifying it into a completely different weapon. How To Get The CRBR-S Wonder WeaponThere are a few ways to get the new CRBR-S Wonder Weapon in your hands:While not a guarantee, your odds might be best with the Trials feature. Simply locate and activate the Trials computer terminal on the map, and keep activating and completing trials until your reward reaches the "legendary" rarity status. You might end up getting a different high-end gun or a perk as your reward, but this is going to be a more favorable approach than just getting lucky with the Mystery Box. Your odds are even better of getting at least one Wonder Weapon if you have a full team of four and everyone attempts the trials.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Bungie is making big changes to the Destiny 2 reputation system in Season 15. In a blog post on Bungie's website, rituals lead Alan Blaine provided details on the updates coming to the reputation system, aimed at streamlining the experience. In Season 15, the reputation systems from Lord Shaxx, The Drifter, and Commander Zavala will be renamed Crucible, Gambit, and Vanguard ranks, respectively. The names Infamy and Valor are being retired, while Glory will continue to be used for the competitive Crucible reputation system. The ranking progression system is being altered as well, to allow players to reset the reputation system faster on average. This is being achieved by removing ritual-specific rules that impede progress, removing win streaks in favor of activity streak bonuses, and standardizing reputation bonus weeks to double multipliers. Blaine said that currently it would take someone who consistently loses their PvP Crucible or Gambit matches three to four times as long as someone who wins consistently to complete their Crucible reset. The new changes in Season 15 will make that more forgiving, so it'll only take you twice as long to reset if you find yourself on a losing streak. It is now expected that two-thirds of reputation will come from just playing the game but players can progress faster by winning.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Grinding Gear Games has just revealed a new round of content for Path of Exile during a recent livestream, which includes a new Expedition expansion and the return of the battle royale mode--which is out now for a limited time. Along with new content for the 3.15 expansion, the developers announced some sweeping quality-of-life changes coming to the game, some of which could be considered controversial to the state of the game.Grinding Gear Games CEO Chris Wilson gave a detailed breakdown in the latest stream for what's new for Path of Exile, revealing the latest league event called Expedition, which will launch on July 23 for PC and on the 28th for consoles. Focusing on a new faction called the Kalguurans, you're tasked with exploring a new region called Wraeclast, which holds ancient treasures and the lost history of the new faction. Ancient Kalguurans once controlled this land, but they would eventually lose control due to the region's supernatural forces. The main conceit of the Expedition content is that you'll be exploring a new landscape filled with hidden chests and undead monsters hiding underneath the surface. While this seems quite close to the standard overworld exploration loop, what sets Expedition apart are the various excavation sites scattered around the land. By planting explosives at these sites, you can unearth treasure stashes or undead Kalguuran explorers to fight. While you can focus on blowing up markers at each site carefully, you can also chain together explosions--which in turn risks more fights--to increase your haul of loot. With this new Expedition league, you can also acquire brand new pieces of armor and weapons. The Expedition also serves as an opportunity to meet with new Kalguuran NPCs, with whom you can learn more and even trade resources with in order to gain new items and gear for your character.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Harley Quinn has become something of a throughline for DC movies, if such a thing exists. Margot Robbie's iconic version of the character has appeared in disparate movies including David Ayer's Suicide Squad, Cathy Yan's Birds of Prey, and now James Gunn's The Suicide Squad. In all these ensembles, she's stolen the show. And in a recent Q&A following a screening of The Suicide Squad, Gunn said that Robbie is "the greatest actor [he's] ever worked with.""I came to Margot, and we talked about the script after she read it," Gunn said. "And when we said something about Harley, she would always be like, 'Yeah, but you know more about her than I do.' Because I've read every single comic book Harley Quinn has ever been in. I've watched every animated movie she's ever been in. So she has no ego, is one of the reasons why she's probably the greatest actor I've ever worked with--not because she says I know more than she does, but because she just comes into it in such a way that she's willing to go as far as she possibly can with the character."And she's incredibly prepared, incredibly disciplined, able to do the action stuff, able to do the comedy, able to do the drama, and she's an incredibly well rounded actor."Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Destiny 2 Update 3.2.1.1 is live now, fixing three issues. Hotfix 3.2.1.1 fixes an issue where players could exit the play area during the Glassway Strike boss fight. Players were using the glitch in the Grandmaster version of the Nightfall Strike to slip into an area where the bosses couldn't damage them, allowing them to fire at the enemies in safety. Grandmaster Nightfalls are some of the toughest challenges in Destiny 2 and give out some of the best rewards, so the bug essentially allowed players to easily farm it.The update also solves an issue where the Worldshaper ornament for Izanagi's Burden would sometimes cause ADS issues when zooming in. The third and final fix in this update is that an issue where the Catalyst Competitor Triumph was not showing for players who completed it during the Guardian Games.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Mere hours before preorders began on the new Switch OLED Model, Valve preempted the festivities with a big announcement of its own: the Steam Deck, a portable gaming PC that bears more than a passing resemblance to Nintendo's popular handheld/console hybrid. The shot across the bow may or may not have been intentional, and preorders are opening soon. Either way, Steam's new device seems inspired by, if not a direct challenger to, Nintendo's popular console. And fresh off the community's disappointment over the lack of Switch Pro news, Valve could be taking the opportunity to get out ahead of the competition. In fact, the Steam Deck is being positioned as similar to the Switch in many ways. The starting price for the Steam Deck is $400, just above the price of the Switch OLED but with significantly more power (albeit with an LCD screen). The device itself looks similar to a Switch, though the full analog sticks and track pads make it a bit wider than a Switch equipped with the already-large Split Pad Pro. There's even an optional dock to plug it into your TV, the marquee hybrid feature that serves as the Switch's namesake.Valve is also making sure to accent the power proposition. It's no coincidence that its promotional videos have shown games like Control running on the Steam Deck, with a promise that it's running natively on the device. Contrast this with the Nintendo Switch, which has offered hit-or-miss cloud-based versions of games that often come with compromises--including Control.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD's Zelda and Loftwing Amiibo has been hit by shipping delays, causing the majority of them to arrive sometime in August instead of on July 16. As reported by IGN, the Amiibo has been impacted by "unforeseen" issues related to shipping, resulting in only a handful of the Zelda and Loftwing Amiibo arriving on July 16 when the game releases. The majority of the Amiibo ordered will arrive sometime in August. Nintendo of America also told IGN that this delay will not impact any other Amiibo figures. The Amiibo was originally set to release alongside Skyward Sword HD, and while normally video game merchandise shipping later than the game isn't a big deal, this Amiibo unlocks a pretty useful mechanic in-game."The Zelda and Loftwing Amiibo figure is currently impacted by unforeseen shipping delays. As a result, only a small portion of the Zelda and Loftwing Amiibo will be available on its scheduled July 16 launch date," Nintendo of America said in a statement to GameSpot. "Additional shipments are delayed until August. We will ship additional Amiibo to retailers as soon as they arrive."Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

The coolest G.I. Joe character, Snake Eyes, is finally getting his own movie in just over a week. More importantly, though, Snake Eyes is getting a Fortnite skin, so it only makes sense that Henry Golding, who plays the character in Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins, would sit down to play a few rounds as himself.Streamed yesterday, Henry Golding joined streamers Fuslie and Brooke AB for a 40-minute session that had each of them suiting up as the cartoon ninja to play a few rounds of Epic's smash-hit game. While they played, the trio were tasked with answering trivia questions. The first round, "Name That Joe" had them answering questions like "This Joe was a member of a band with his two brothers;" the second, "Snake or Fake," asked them to discern between real and pretend names of various snake species. Golding also talked about the training he went through before the film, including working with a Japanese trainer to get the hang of the katana.Golding seems comfortable at the mouse and keyboard throughout the video, though he does better with trivia than frags; the endless string of friend requests popping up over the action probably didn't help any.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

The Jungle Cruise is an iconic ride at California's Disneyland. In fact, it's one of the park's original attractions, dating back to opening day on July 17, 1955. Now, as it celebrates its 66th birthday, the ride is relaunching on July 16 with a massive makeover just as a Jungle Cruise movie is set to hit theaters and Disney+ premiere access. The new Jungle Cruise isn't necessarily inspired by the film, though there are nods to it for fans to check out. Instead, Walt Disney Imagineering has given the ride a series of upgrades, implementing a storyline, several new scenes, an army of new animals causing some serious chaos, and the removal of certain characters that were culturally insensitive--notably the spear-carrying "natives" and Trader Sam.The new ride experience starts as you walk up to it. An updated sign features boat oars in place of the old spears. From there, guests move into the queue, which not only includes Easter eggs from the Jungle Cruise movie (keep an eye out for costume items worn by Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt in the film) but also introduces the new lore of the ride.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

If you watch comic book movies at all, chances are you've seen dozens of interviews with stars of the dozens of Marvel Studios films and noticed how tight-lipped they are (except Tom Holland and Mark Ruffalo). Even the people writing the films are often kept in the dark about certain this, revealed Black Widow writer Eric Pearson in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter. Spoilers follow for Black Widow's post-credits sequence. As with so many other Marvel Studios films, Black Widow ends with a post-credits sequence that drops clues for what's next in the MCU. In a scene set after the events of Avengers: Endgame, Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson)'s adoptive sister Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) mourns her sister at her grave site, only for her quiet moment to be interrupted by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis Dreyfuss) blowing her nose to cartoonish effect. Val then hands Yelena the photo of her next target: Jeremy Renner's Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye."I felt bad," Person said. "They told me I got to [write the post-credits scene], so I was really excited I got to do a lot to shape Valentina's personality, but they told me 'and then at the end, this is the target.' They were like, 'Don't worry about it. You don't have to know that.' I was like, 'Who am I screwing over? Something is going on! I don't have an answer for this!'"Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Square Enix has suggested that it could one day return to the world of Final Fantasy X with a Final Fantasy X-3 sequel. In a new interview with Famitsu as reported by Japanese blog Ryukutya via RPGSite, several key members of Final Fantasy X commented on how the project even has a plot written by Kazushige Nojima, who served as one of the scenario writers on the 2001 game."If we are to make X-3, we somehow have a synopsis written by Nojima-san," character designer Tetsuya Nomura explained. "It's sleeping right now, but the plot itself does exist."As RPGSite also noted, a recent audio play could be used as another potential storyline springboard. Taking place a year after the events of Final Fantasy X-2 and focused on two new characters called Chuami and Kurgum, Final Fantasy X Will reunited several of the original game's voice actors and dealt with the return of Final Fantasy X's main antagonist, Sin.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com
