With the return of the fifth season of Vikings comes an interesting new turn for the group that followed Floki (Gustaf Skarsgård) in creating a new Viking settlement in Iceland. As previously seen, the settlers were quick to discover that building a new society on a volcanic island was no easy task. Now that they are settling in, though, things only going to get worse. GameSpot spoke with WWE Hall of Famer Adam "Edge" Copeland, who plays Kjetill, about the show's return and exactly what's going to happen when life for this group only becomes harsher by the day. While Floki believes he was destined to lead a thriving settlement after being chosen by the gods, Kjetill--among others-- is beginning to realize it was never going to be quite that simple."I think [Kjetill] was a realist in the respect that he knew there was going to be some work involved," Copeland said. "It wouldn't just be easy. I think he was enough of a realist to understand, 'I want to believe Floki. I want to help him see this vision come to fruition but I think there's going to be more to it than what Floki assumes.'"And while Kjetill may consider himself Floki's most trusted ally in this new environment, there is likely a breaking point looming. "I think that's where the character, in a way, is let down and is trying to fight these other emotions underneath," the actor teases. "You know, the trying to be the pillar of a community, trying to be kind of the right-hand man for Floki, trying to be very dependable and be a husband and be a father and be caring. But underneath all of that he's still a warrior, he's still a Viking in his blood and at some point, can he keep that buried down or should he keep it buried down?"Without spoiling, Copeland teased that keeping it buried down won't be very easy. "You're going to see some of those things come to the forefront and I think it's only a matter of time with this character... You know, there's some stuff bubbling and you know, eventually… the volcano has to burst," he said. "And I don't want to give too much away, but you get a sense by the end of this season, you get a sense of what he can actually do if put in that position and it's a scary thing."Interestingly, though, it's not the physicality and action that excited Copeland most about playing Kjetill. While he assumed one of the reasons he was hired was to make use of his sports entertainment background for battle scenes and fight choreography, he was pleased to see Kjetill be someone else entirely."This was more of an exploration of character and that was so much fun," he said. And it's exploring that character that has helped Copeland get a sense of what matters most to Kjetill. As he explained, "This guy is doing all of these things because he's trying to protect his family... bad things happened and there's revenge that comes with that and all of those base emotions that he's always trying to keep in check."So may the gods be with whoever comes between Kjetill and his family. With that Viking warrior blood in his veins, he may become unstoppable when Vikings returns on November 28 on History.Info from Gamespot.com

Anyone who saw the first season of The Edge and Christian Show That Totally Reeks of Awesomeness on WWE Network knows that WWE alum Adam "Edge" Copeland and Jay "Christian" Reso like to get weird when left to their own devices. The first run of episodes for the series were filled with bizarre moments, tons of cameos, and a magical remote control that could pause WWE Chairman of the Board Vince McMahon. With the show returning to WWE Network on Monday, November 26, it sounds like things will be getting even zanier and more obscure. Speaking to GameSpot about his return to History's Vikings, Copeland had some interesting things to say about Season 2 of The Edge and Christian Show.In the first season, the duo and their crew essentially learned how to make a TV show along the way. "We were figuring out this thing as we went along, you know, they basically gave us show and free reign," he said. "We didn't really still have it fleshed out and we were filming them basically as they were airing so there was a time crunch and because of that there was a creative crunch."Get ready...#TheECShow is BACK TOMORROW NIGHT! @EdgeRatedR @Christian4Peeps pic.twitter.com/duEyGuumIE — WWE Network (@WWENetwork) November 25, 2018That's changed, though. He explained, "By the time Season 2 rolls around and we start filming, we had loads of time to write, all of the scripts were really fleshed out, we had all of the people that we wanted for the characters, or you know, our wishes anyway. And then we end up getting over one hundred cameos in this thing, some really random ones too."That's right, the new season of The Edge and Christian Show has over 100 cameos for wrestling fans to discover. In one particular scene, Copeland teased that the screen will be filled with special guests in front of a green screen as they try to recreate a "classic moment" in wrestling history. With a laugh, the WWE Hall of Famer added, "People will just be like, 'What is happening right now?'"Of course, that's not the only time viewers will be asking themselves that question. Based on what Copeland had to say, it sounds like the crazier the idea, the more important it was to have it on the show. And this time around, they're going to have the visual effects to set the stage for the insanity."This one is a lot different than Season 1," he said. "To me, in a much better way. We added in some elements, we had some graphic artist and do some amazing things that we wouldn't have been able to, some of our visions just wouldn't have been possible without this guy coming in and putting his magic touch on it. When you see it, you'll be able to tell because it's just, you know, the farting unicorns going by Hillbilly Jim while he's moon farming."If there's one thing pro wrestling has been missing, it's a farting unicorn. Clearly, the New Day is about to be one-upped. Thankfully, Edge and Christian are here to save the day once again, even if it took nearly three years to get this second season. The Edge and Christian Show That Totally Reeks of Awesomeness returns to WWE Network on Monday, November 26, after Raw.Info from Gamespot.com

Fortnite's Season 6 is winding down, but there are still challenges to complete, including those for Week 9. There is just one more week left after this one before the season is over. Challenges for the week are available now and although there's nothing too surprising in both the Free and paid Battle Pass sections, you'll have to put in the work to get them done.In the Free section players will need to get their hands on a vehicle and then catch 30 seconds of airtime. After that they'll need to score 10 or more on three different Carnival Clown Boards, and begin a multi-part quest by eating a mushroom. Once that is consumed, another stage will reveal itself; there are a total of five stages. In the paid Battle Pass section, you'll need to do 300 points of damage using either a Clinger Stink Bomb, or Grenade. Fortnite's newest weapon, Dynamite, must be used to do 10,000 points of damage to structure for the second challenge. The final two involve getting three kills with a grenade launcher, and then dealing 100 damage to enemies with a grenade. The latter of those two is the first part in a three stage challenge. Take a look at the full challenge list below.Fortnite Season 6, Week 9 ChallengesFreeGet 30 seconds of airtime in a vehicle -- 5 Battle StarGet a score of 10 or more on different Carnival Clown Boards (3) -- 5 Battle StarsStage 1: Consume Mushrooms (5) -- 10 Battle StarsBattle PassDeal damage to players with a Clinger, Stink Bomb, or Grenade (300) -- 5 Battle StarsDeal damage to opponent structures with Dynamite (10,000) -- 5 Battle StarsRocket or Grenade Launcher eliminations (3) -- 10 Battle StarsStage 1: Deal Damage with Grenades to opponents (100) -- 3 Battle StarsOn November 20, developer Epic Games released Fortnite's 6.30 update, introducing a new LTM called Wild West. This mode limits weapons to those that would be used by gunslingers in the Wild West, namely the Hunting Rifle, Pump Shotgun, Double Barrel Shotgun, Six Shooter, and Minigun. The update also brought with it a new weapon called the Dynamite stick. This throwable is also usable in the Wild West LTM and dishes out 70 damage to players and 800 to structures. After it was made available Epic noticed reports that the Fortnite client was more prone to crashing. As a result of this, the weapon was pulled briefly, before being added back in. As part of the fix, Epic also tweaked the Mounted Turret. You can read the patch notes through the link above to see what else the update tweaked, changed, and added.Fortnite is also having some dance drama right now, with Scrubs star Donald Faison pointing out that Epic Games has ripped off one of his routines. In Scrubs, Faison busts some slick moves to the tune of Bell Biv Devoe's Poison, and it's become a fairly recognisable routine. This dance has since shown up as an emote in Fortnite. When asked to perform the dance at a recent Scrubs reuntion, Faison said, "If you want to see it, you can play Fortnite, because they jacked that sh**!" Info from Gamespot.com

With Red Dead Redemption 2's multiplayer mode, Red Dead Online, launching today, Rockstar has provided new details--really, some of the first--regarding what to expect. Specifically, it's outlined two key activities in Red Dead Online's open world. The first of these is Free Roam Missions, which appear as Stranger icons and can be embarked on either alone or with a Posse. Rockstar teases that these will involve "familiar faces" and that the way things play out will depend on your Honor level."For example, an honorable gunslinger may be asked to help escort a convoy, defending it from attacking gangs or even other players' Posses, whereas a dishonorable outlaw may be asked to help spring a felon from the law," Rockstar explained.A Land of Opportunities, meanwhile, is described as a "deeper cooperative strand for two to four players" that Rockstar intends to continually expand. This is "a multi-part series of missions, with some parts changing as your honor changes on a larger journey to seek truth and justice, or revenge."For those with a competitive edge, the online world will also have an assortment of competitive player-versus-player modes. At launch, Red Dead Online has five modes that are part of "a larger series of Showdowns," which seem to be playlists. Matchmaking is used to put players into these modes, including one that sounds a lot like battle royale called Make It Count:Shootout & Team Shootout -- Classic gunfight modes with unlimited lives. Compete to rack up the most kills before the timer runs out. Sudden death will trigger in the event of a tie: whoever gets the first kill wins.Make it Count -- A true test of resourcefulness in two game modes: use nothing but a bow and a handful of arrows or throwing knives to be the last one standing. With a gradually shrinking player area, there’s nowhere to run. Most Wanted -- A tactical race to the top. Every kill pushes you up the scoreboard, but watch out: the closer to the top you are, the more points everyone else gets for killing you.Hostile Territory -- Work in teams to control the land. Capture a territory to start racking up points: the team with most points wins - or you can win outright by capturing every territory.Name your Weapon -- Demonstrate your personal specialty in this free-for-all or team based match: the trickier the weapon you use to land the killing blow, the more points you get.Red Dead Online is now available on PS4 and Xbox One in beta for select players. Availability will open up over the course of the week, culminating in a full release of the beta on Friday, November 30. You can check out when Red Dead Online unlocks in our detailed schedule.Info from Gamespot.com

Epic Games has launched Fortnite update 6.31 and has detailed the tweaks, changes, and new additions in the full patch notes. The headliners in the Battle Royale mode are the Team Rumble Limited Time Mode and two new rarities of the Pump Shotgun. For the Save the World mode, meanwhile, there's a new Constructor called Airheart, who arrives with a Rotating Omni-directional Sentry Integrated Exoskeleton (R.O.S.I.E). Here's what's new.Team Rumble, as you may have guessed, involves two teams of 20 players battling each other, with the first to reach 100 eliminations crowned the victor. To spice things up players will respawn five seconds after they are killed and will keep their inventory when they re-join the battle. Furthermore, eliminated players spawn a random type of ammo and a random stack of either 120 Wood, 90 Stone, or 60 Metal materials when they're taken out.The new Pump Shotguns are Epic and Legendary varities. They do 105 / 110 maximum damage, respectively, and their introduction coincides with some differences to maximum damage and damage fall-off (compared to before, they'll do more damage up close but less from further away). These two types of Pump Shotgun can be found from floor loot, chests, Supply Drops, and Vending Machines. With this change, Epic has removed the Double Barrel Shotgun from floor loot, so expect the shotguns you find on the ground to be of the Pump variety more often.Another weapon-related change of note involves Dynamite, which was recently added. It's now possible to pick up a Dynamite that's been thrown and chuck it elsewhere; this is done by using the interact button/key while nearly it.Finally, Epic announced it has introduced a gifting feature for a limited time (except on iOS). This feature will at least initially only be available for a week, but it allows you to buy items from the store and send them to friends. Doing so has several requirements, as outlined by Epic:Make sure you have Multi-factor authentication enabled on your account. If you're not sure how to get this setup then check out the instructions here. You must have been friends with somebody for at least 48 hours before you can send a gift to them. You will only be able to gift three times within a 24 hour period.Any gifts that are purchased are NOT refundable. You can only gift an item that is currently available in the Item Shop.Take a look at the full patch notes for Battle Royale below, and click here for more on the Save The World mode.Limited Time Mode: Team RumbleSummaryTwo large teams fight for the Victory Royale in an action-packed mode where the first team to get 100 eliminations wins!Mode DetailsTwo teams of 20 players.Players will respawn after 5 seconds when eliminated, keeping their inventory.Eliminated players spawn a random type of ammo upon elimination, as well as a random stack of either 120 Wood, 90 Stone, or 60 Metal materials.Only Uncommon weapons (or better) are available. The first team to 100 eliminations wins.Weapons + ItemsNew Epic and Legendary Pump Shotgun 105 / 110 maximum damageAvailable from floor loot, chests, Supply Drops, and Vending Machines.Shotguns will now always apply at least 3 pellets worth of damage if only 1-2 pellets hit the target. Red Dead Online launched today, with Red Dead Redemption 2 Ultimate Edition owners being the first wave of players given access to the multiplayer mode. But what awaits them when they take their gunslinging ways online? Rockstar has addressed that question, delivering details on what players can expect.Rockstar describes Red Dead Online as a "continually expanding experience" and, as such, it intends to make additions and updates throughout the beta period. However, beginning right away, players will be able to form a Posse, establish a camp, and take on story-based cooperative missions. There are also strangers awaiting them in the open-world, free roaming challenges, activities such as fishing, and some good old-fashioned exploration. As players undertake these activities they'll rack up experience that contributes towards rank and bonuses. Over time, items can be unlocked and character attributes can be improved. There are also 12 categories that players can earn distinctions in, such as combat, hunting, sharpshooting, and survivalist.Red Dead Online begins in Sisika Penitentiary, where players will first get a horse, set up camp, find treasure, equip an Ability Card and, according to Rockstar, "meet some fateful characters with a larger story to tell; one that involves chasing truth, revenge, and honor."The action-based honor system from the main game is also present in Red Dead Online, with your decisions and behaviour shaping how the world views your character. Depending on your alignment, the world around you will respond differently and Rockstar says "the nature of certain missions will reveal themselves to you based on your current honor states."Rockstar has also provided details on the various Red Dead Online modes you can expect to see right away. The lineup includes one PvP mode that sounds a lot like battle royale. As previously revealed, the Red Dead Online beta is now available for those that have the Ultimate Edition. After that there's a gradual rollout, with anyone that played Red Dead Redemption 2 on its launch day given access to the beta from November 28. Those that played Red Dead Redemption 2 at any point between launch and October 29 will be able to jump into the beta from November 29. And then anyone who owns the game can check it out from November 30. This gradual rollout, Rockstar says, will help it "ease into the beta and to mitigate major issues."Info from Gamespot.com

Destiny 2's Forsaken expansion refreshed the game in myriad ways, fixing up a lot of little annoyances, but most importantly, providing lots of rotating things to do. Those new things kept Destiny 2 fresh throughout the entire fourth season, as players grappled with a new Raid, the ever-changing Dreaming City, and special events such as the Iron Banner and the Festival of the Lost. The fifth season of Destiny 2, the Season of the Forge, is now live as part of a new update. It's marked by the first of three expansions that are part of the new Destiny 2 Annual Pass: The Black Armory. It's Bungie's attempt at continuing to provide more constantly changing and rotating content to the game, along with new challenges to keep players interested. Right now, there's an assortment of new Exotics and items to get your hands on.As Bungie has said before, The Black Armory isn't a new story campaign. Instead, it's access to new locations--four special forges, in particular--where the game can put Guardians through their paces and give them new special weapons and armor to chase. Like most expansions, it comes with a bunch of new loot, as well as new Exotic weapons, you can add to your collection. But rather than try to provide a new dose of story, which usually turns out short and unsatisfying in these smaller Destiny expansions, it seems Bungie is instead focusing on the challenges and live content that made the late-game stages of Forsaken successful.First, The Black Armory will let players take their character Power levels up to 650 from the current cap of 600, so there should be plenty of loot to grind through in weekly activities. The main new activity of the expansion is to be finding the four lost forges, where players can fight waves of enemies of different types--from the looks of photos Bungie provided of The Black Armory, it seems each forge belongs to a different enemy faction. The activity, which includes matchmaking, sounds like the Blind Well in the Dreaming City, where players fight through a bunch of baddies and claim rewards when they're done. Those rewards and the quests you complete to earn them will come from Ada-1, a new story vendor who joins the game. While The Black Armory doesn't add a new story campaign, it does include a full new Raid called "Scourge of the Past," which takes place on Earth in "the ruins of the Last City." Players hang out in the City all the time, but have never really had a chance to actually explore it before, so it's likely the Raid will be illuminating from a Destiny lore standpoint. The start of Season 5 means that The Black Armory will also come with new Triumphs and Collections to complete, to encourage players to push themselves and find all the secrets hidden within the new expansion. There will also be quests and adventures to complete, so while there won't be a ton of new story in the expansion, it sounds like there will be at least some narrative to hold players over. And in keeping with the idea that The Black Armory is more about challenges and loot than about story, Season 5 will also introduce three new Pinnacle Weapons that'll require some serious investment to obtain. Where Forsaken previously had two Pinnacle Weapons for Crucible players, Luna's Howl and Redrix's Claymore, that required them to show serious skill, Season 5 introduces three more to other activities: one for Gambit, one for Vanguard strikes, and a third one for Crucible.Destiny's problem for years has been finding ways to keep the game engaging long-term, but Bungie seemed to crack that issue with Forsaken, its end game activities, and its rotating content that kept things fresh week after week. The Black Armory seems to be focusing on those same ideas and initiatives, but it'll be the test of whether Bungie has finally found a way to its game engaging through its second year between big expansions. The Black Armory expansion drops on December 4.Info from Gamespot.com

It's the penultimate week of Fortnite Season 6, which means time is quickly running out on completing challenges, getting the Battle Stars, and unlocking cosmetics by levelling up your Battle Pass. But before you start churning through the challenges from previous weeks, you'll need to do the latest batch. And one of them involving Carnival Clown Boards' locations is quite tricky, so we've put together a guide to help you get it done quickly. The challenge in question is included in the free section of Week 9's offering and tasks players with getting a score of 10 or more on three different Carnival Clown Boards. This is a familiar challenge format, having been previously used for shooting galleries or clay pigeons. Like those challenges, the difficulty lies in finding the actual Carnival Clown Boards. Once you've got your eyes on them, all you need to do activate the board and shoot the balloons as they appear around you, which is not very difficult at all.So, where are the Carnival Clown Boards? Well, we've found them and put their exact locations below. You can find one east of Junk Junction, another in the Pleasant Park's southwest corner, and the third around the RV park in Lonely Lodge. As an added bonus, there's a fourth one to the northwest of Paradise Palms.Carnival Clown Board LocationsEast of Junk JunctionSouthwest corner of Pleasant ParkLonely Lodge in the RV ParkNorthwest of Paradise PalmsWith that done, you can see the rest of Fortnite Season 6, Week 9's challenges here. The rest of them are focused on either using specific weapons or stunting in vehicles. Because of this, you'll be able to knock them out by just playing the Battle Royale mode naturally.Once those are done, you can start working towards completing any outstanding challenges from the rest of Season 6. Lucky for you, we've been putting together guides for the harder challenges on a weekly basis, which means there's a comprehensive Fortnite Season 6 challenge guide to help you along.Info from Gamespot.com

Season 5 has started in Destiny 2, and while there's a lot of new stuff on the horizon with the launch of The Black Armory expansion on December 4, there's also plenty of weekly content to do in the meantime. As usual, the Spider has a fresh slate of bounties for players to clear out, and this week's major adversary is the Vex minotaur known as the Arcadian Chord. As usual, to get the bounty, you'll need to venture to the Tangled Shore and gather five Ghost Fragments to purchase it. You can get those by completing the Spider's Tangled Shore bounties, patrols, and public events. Once you buy the bounty, it'll open up an Adventure on one of the planet's in the solar system, near the Lost Sector where your target resides. The Arcadian Chord can be found on Nessus, in the Glade of Echoes. He's located in the Lost Sector known as The Carrion Pit, but you'll see the Adventure marker as you approach to give you the exact location. The battle itself is pretty difficult, as Wanted bounties go. The Arcadian Chord is protected by a personal shield that makes him tough to take down, and smaller minion enemies--including the exploding Vex Fanatics--will continually spawn around him to protect him. To take him out, you'll need to protect yourself from his troops while searching for the means of knocking out his shield. That shield is created by two blue Anomaly objects that appear on the battlefield while you're fighting (for Destiny 1 players, these are the Oracles you saw in the Vault of Glass). The trouble with these anomalies is they usually spawn in hard-to-spot locations, like above you and behind objects. Run around the battlefield and blast the anomalies in order to open up the Arcadian Chord to damage, so blast away at him as soon as you get the chance--but be careful not to let any Fanatics sneak up on you. You'll go through this cycle three times. On the third repetition, you'll have to find three anomalies to bring down the shield, instead of just two. Check under the platform where the Arcadian Chord hangs out, as you're likely to find one hidden among the detritus there. When the Chord is down, you'll be free to turn in the bounty and claim your Powerful gear, which is capable of raising your overall Power level. While you won't be able to rise above a Power level of 600 this week, that'll change with the release of The Black Armory on December 4. It raises the cap to 650, and includes new activities and a new Raid. There are also five new Exotics coming with the expansion. Meanwhile, start of Season 5 brings new cosmetic items to the Eververse store, which you can check out right now. With the details about The Black Armory, we also got information about Bungie's plans for the rest of Year 2. While Fallout 76 might not have gone over so well with critics, the game has already reached "millions" of players, Bethesda announced today. The title hasn't necessarily sold that many copies, but it's still a notable achievement. What's more, those who are playing are playing "a lot," Bethesda stated in a blog post in which it also outlined plans to support the title in the future. The developer said it's been following the feedback surrounding Fallout 76, and acknowledged that players are experiencing "a number of frustrating issues." In response to this, Bethesda said it plans to releases fixes and add new features "on a regular basis," while changes based on player feedback will also be implemented down the road.Additionally, Bethesda said it has an "incredible list" of updates planned for Fallout 76, some of which will comprise new quests and events, as well as more Vaults, a faction-based PvP system, and more. "We're confident, with your support, we can make Fallout 76 an incredible experience for years to come," Bethesda said.Previously, Bethesda boss Pete Hines said he expects Fallout 76's servers to stay online until the sun burns out and humankind is swept into dust. The first of Fallout 76's major post-release updates will arrive on December 4. This update will increase the game's Stash limit, while also delivering new performance and stability improvements, as well as balance changes and some bug fixes. The full patch notes are coming later, but for now you can read a summary of the main points below, as written by Bethesda.December 4 Patch HighlightsStash Limit Increased: We know many of you have been asking for an adjustment to the Stash storage limit, and we're happy to share that we’re increasing it from 400 to 600. While this is somewhat conservative, we plan to increase the storage cap further once we verify that this change will not negatively impact the stability of the game.Boss Loot: Players should correctly receive two to three items after taking down a boss, depending on the creature's difficulty and level.Cryolator Effects: Players hit with the Cryolator are now Chilled, Frosted, or Frozen depending on how many times they are hit. The duration of movement speed reductions applied by these effects have also been decreased from 2 hours to 30 seconds.Respawning When Overencumbered: We've resolved an issue affecting players who die while overencumbered that only allowed them to Respawn at Vault 76. Now, overencumbered players will be able to respawn at the nearest discovered Map Marker.Stuck in Power Armor: We've addressed an issue in this patch that could cause players to become stuck inside Power Armor. We’re also aware that there are some additional cases where this can occur, and we are actively investigating them.A week later on December 11, Bethesda will release the next Fallout 76 update that will include even more bug fixes, as well as new features like the ability respec your SPECIAL and push-to-talk voice chat on PC. What's more, a bulldozer will be added to Camp that lets you remove trees, rocks, and other obstacles in your way.December 11 Patch HighlightsPC Additions: A Push-to-Talk setting for Voice Chat, 21:9 resolution support, and a Field of View setting are all being implemented on PC with this update.SPECIAL Respec: After level 50, you’ll be able to choose between a new Perk Card, or moving a SPECIAL point you had previously allocated.C.A.M.P. Placement on Login: Your C.A.M.P. will no longer be automatically blueprinted and stored if someone is occupying your location when you log into a server. Instead, you’ll receive a notification that your space is occupied. If you decide to find a new home for your C.A.M.P. on that server, it will be free to do so. However, if you don’t attempt to place down your C.A.M.P., you will be able to switch to a new server where that spot is vacant and your C.A.M.P. will be fully assembled and waiting for you.Bulldozer: This is a new C.A.M.P. feature that will allow you to remove small trees, rocks, and other obstructions so it’s easier to create and place your C.A.M.P. when and where you want it. You can also "Bulldoze" to clear these items from the surrounding area to make your C.A.M.P. feel more like home! Also in the blog post, Bethesda acknowledged the concerns people had about the first patch for Fallout 76 that was more than 40 GB in size on some platforms. Future patches should be smaller, Bethesda said, though the developer shared no details on the degree to which they may be smaller. The developer also warned that the updates could get delayed based on a number of factors.Fallout 76 was heavily discounted on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, which suggests the game might not be performing so well commercially, but that's just speculation. Red Dead Redemption 2's online beta, named Red Dead Online, has begun today for select users with the release of a new update. For the time being it's only available to Ultimate Edition owners, and it will expand to a wide release beta in two phases to take place later this week. The progressive roll-out is meant to help mitigate any issues from a wide public launch. It has already hit some reports of Xbox access and general errors causing the game not to work, however. As of Tuesday, November 27, only users of the Ultimate Edition have access to the beta. Some Xbox One Ultimate Edition owners have reported issues with their access, and Rockstar Support has stated that it is aware of the problem and investigating. The support account has not mentioned any similar problems on PlayStation 4. [Update: The Xbox One-specific issues involving Online access have now been resolved, according to Rockstar. In our experience, players are still being periodically booted out the game, though.]Those who are getting into the game are also getting their own share of errors. In our own time with the beta, we've seen several errors that have booted us out of the game in progress. The next phase of the beta will be any early adopters, as defined by those who played the game on launch day, gaining access on November 28. After that anyone who played by October 29 will gain access on November 29. Finally, the beta will go to a full public launch on November 30. The initial Ultimate Edition launch began at 8:30 AM ET / 5:30 AM PST / 1:30 PM GMT / 12:30 AM AEDT, so it's likely the other days' expansions will too.Red Dead Online aims to blend the multiplayer from the original Red Dead Redemption with lessons Rockstar says it has learned since then, likely referring to its years of experience with Grand Theft Auto Online. It touts the "deeply detailed landscapes, cities, towns and habitats of Red Dead Redemption 2 into a new, living online world ready to be shared by multiple players."Using Red Dead 2's vast open world as a the core of the online experience makes sense, given that it was one of the most widely praised aspects of the campaign."Red Dead Redemption 2's version of America is vast and wide open, stretching from snowy mountains and the Great Plains down to the original game's New Austin in the southwest," said critic Kallie Plagge in GameSpot's Red Dead Redemption 2 review. "Further to the east is the Louisiana-inspired Deep South, which is still feeling the effects of the Civil War after nearly 40 years. There's a distinct shift when traveling from region to region; as grassy hillsides become alligator-filled swamps, Union veterans give way to angry Confederate holdouts, and good intentions and casual racism turn into desperation and outright bigotry."Info from Gamespot.com

Red Dead Online is finally here--at least if you own the Ultimate Edition. We're getting started with the Red Dead Redemption 2 multiplayer mode, and right out the gate your first task is to create a character. You begin by choosing a man or a woman, and then you'll get to customise them to your heart's content. The character-creator is very robust, as you can see in GameSpot's new video preview embedded above. What you'll also immediately notice is that it is truly difficult to make a character who doesn't look like a gross slob. That may be by design, as you're playing as a rough criminal. The character-creator takes place inside of a jail, after all. We won't reveal many of the other key early details, but you can probably anticipate what happens given that the first Red Dead Online achievement is called "Breakout." Check out the full video above to see the character we created.Red Dead Online is available now for Ultimate Edition owners, and it'll launch November 28 for people who played Red Dead Redemption 2 on launch day (October 26). Those who played the game October 27-29 will get in on November 29, while everyone can start playing Red Dead Online on November 30. The online mode is available as part of a beta, so you can expect a few teething issues and other oddities to pop up along the way.In other news, Red Dead Online features a battle royale mode called Make It Count, while microtransactions in the game come in the form of gold bars (which you can't buy yet). Keep checking back with GameSpot for lots more on Red Dead Online in the days and weeks to come. Info from Gamespot.com

Two major updates are coming to Fallout 76 in December, Bethesda has announced, the first of which is landing on December 4. This update will increase the current Stash limit, and also fix bugs, improve performance and stability, and make some balance changes. The Stash limit is rising from 400 to 600. That isn't a whole lot, and that's by design. Bethesda said it plans to increase it further after it can determine if the change won't have a negative impact on the game's overall stability. Also new in the update is changes to boss loot; specifically, taking down bosses will now earn players two or three items. The update also fixes an issue where players became stuck in power armor and those who die when overencumbered will now respawn back on the map instead of in Vault 76.You can see highlights for the December 4 Fallout 76 patch below, as written by Bethesda. The full and complete patch notes are coming later. As for the December 11 patch, it will introduce push-to-talk chat on PC and allow players to respec their Special after level 50. The update will also add a new Camp item, the Bulldozer, while other Camp changes are planned. The patch highlights can be seen further down the page; the text was written by Bethesda.Additionally, Bethesda said it's aware that Fallout 76's first major patch was too big--it came in at more than 40 GB on some platforms. The game's future updates should be smaller, but Bethesda didn't provide any details on the degree to which they may decrease in size relative to that first one. "We hear you, and we're working to reduce our patch sizes going forward so that you can get back into game as soon as possible on patch days," Bethesda said.Fallout 76 might not have been adored by critics, but "millions" of people have played it, Bethesda said. The developer plans to support the game with new updates on a regular basis for potentially years into the future.December 4 Patch HighlightsStash Limit Increased: We know many of you have been asking for an adjustment to the Stash storage limit, and we’re happy to share that we’re increasing it from 400 to 600. While this is somewhat conservative, we plan to increase the storage cap further once we verify that this change will not negatively impact the stability of the game.Boss Loot: Players should correctly receive two to three items after taking down a boss, depending on the creature’s difficulty and level.Cryolator Effects: Players hit with the Cryolator are now Chilled, Frosted, or Frozen depending on how many times they are hit. The duration of movement speed reductions applied by these effects have also been decreased from 2 hours to 30 seconds.Respawning When Overencumbered: We’ve resolved an issue affecting players who die while overencumbered that only allowed them to Respawn at Vault 76. Now, overencumbered players will be able to respawn at the nearest discovered Map Marker.Stuck in Power Armor: We’ve addressed an issue in this patch that could cause players to become stuck inside Power Armor. We’re also aware that there are some additional cases where this can occur, and we are actively investigating them.December 11 Patch HighlightsPC Additions: A Push-to-Talk setting for Voice Chat, 21:9 resolution support, and a Field of View setting are all being implemented on PC with this update.SPECIAL Respec: After level 50, you’ll be able to choose between a new Perk Card, or moving a SPECIAL point you had previously allocated.C.A.M.P. You can also "Bulldoze" to clear these items from the surrounding area to make your C.A.M.P. feel more like home!Info from Gamespot.com

When you're not robbing, riding from town to town, and trying to keep rescue your fellow gangsters from the law in Red Dead Redemption 2, chances are pretty good you'll be hunting. Tracking and killing animals keeps you and your gang fed and earns you crafting materials, as well as goods to sell to make money to get Arthur better equipment. But for any hunter in Red Dead Redemption 2, the ultimate prize are the various Legendary Animals scattered around the map, whose pelts yield unique rewards--if you're canny enough to bring them down.In Chapter 2, you'll be introduced to your first Legendary Animal in a story mission with Hosea, in which he and Arthur set out to hunt a huge grizzly bear. You can return to the hunt later if you're so inclined, but it's possible to take the bear on your first encounter with it, if you're skilled (or more likely, lucky). If you manage to kill and skin the big grizzly, you'll get a Legendary Bear Pelt, a unique item in the world of Red Dead Redemption 2 that can be used to make special new gear. The question is, what exactly do you do with the huge Legendary Bear Pelt once you have it? Red Dead 2 isn't very clear on this point. In fact, there are special requirements for using the pelts of Legendary Animals--you can't just sell them to any store in a town, or donate them to Pearson back at your camp. In the case of the Legendary Bear pelt, there's a good chance you won't even have heard of the person yet who you need to interact with in order to use it.Here's what you need to know about hunting the Legendary Bear, where you'll find it, and what to do once you've killed it.Where To Find The BearThe easiest way to get to and deal with the Legendary grizzly is in Chapter 2, when you take on the mission Exit Pursued By a Bruised Ego from Hosea. Arthur and Hosea will head out to find the Baharati Grizzly Bear in the Grizzlies East region, north of O'Creagh's Run, and once you've finished the mission, the bear will be hanging around in the area for you to hunt. Once you've fought off the bear during the mission, Hosea will decide to take his leave of hunting giant killer animals with some "I'm getting too old for this s---" dialogue. At that point, you can choose to stick around and finish what you started and take down the bear. It's worth noting that the bear is no pushover and it can definitely kill you if you're not careful. If you're not outfitted super well at this point in the game, you might want to take some time in the world to earn better gear and improve Arthur's well-being before you commit to the fight. That said, it's possible to kill the bear here and now--we did it with Arthur's stock weapons that he had at this point in the game.Bring down the bear and you'll be able to skin it, taking a whole bunch of stuff, including the Legendary Bear Pelt. This is the unique item you need for crafting special clothing you can't get anywhere else. You've Got The Legendary Bear Pelt--Now What?Once you have the pelt, you'll probably be pretty confused about what to actually do with it. Regular shopkeepers won't take the pelt off your hands, and neither will Pearson in camp. You need to go to a specific person to deal with the pelt: the Trapper. If you talk to Pearson, he may well off-handedly mention the Canadian fur trapper who hangs around in the area, which will mark the Trapper's location on your map. He roams around, so make sure to check your map for his icon before heading out. He also has a shop in Saint Denis, located in the southeast corner of the map, in the outdoor market, where you can reliably find him. When you find the Trapper, you'll be able to check out his goods, all of which are unique clothes made from the pelts of Legendary Animals. The thing is, you'll need more than to just take down the bear if you want the whole outfit. Various Legendary Bear items also require other pelts, as well as for you to spend some money. Here's what you'll need to craft each piece of the Legendary Bear outfit:Legendary Bear Head Hat: Legendary Bear Pelt, $40,Legendary Bear Coat: Legendary Bear Pelt, Perfect Bison Pelt, $28Legendary Bear Roper: Legendary Bear Pelt, Perfect Bull Hide, $34Completing the outfit also requires the Boar Riding Gloves, which require a Perfect Boar Pelt and two Perfect Rabbit Pelts, and will cost you $15.Though each of the bear items notes that a Legendary Bear Pelt is required, there's only the one. Once you've taken down the Baharit Grizzly, you'll have fulfilled the Bear Pelt requirement for each clothing item. What Happens If You Lose Your Bear Pelt? You'll likely sling the Legendary Bear Pelt onto your horse and then find yourself riding for quite a ways to track down the Trapper, whether you're headed south to Saint Denis or out into the wilderness. In all that travel time, misfortune can easily befall even the most careful of cowboy, and if your horse falls or you're killed, you'll likely lose the Legendary Bear Pelt. That's okay! Don't panic. Whether you carry the pelt physically to the Trapper or not, once you've killed and skinned the Baharati Grizzly Bear, the pelt is unlocked. That requirement will be fulfilled on the Trapper's list even if you don't actually carry the skin all the way to him. You can still access the clothing items once you have everything you need for the recipes. There are a whole lot of other Legendary Animals to find out there in the big world of Red Dead Redemption 2--check out our guide on where to locate them all. And try our clothing guide for information about where you can get more clothes to customize Arthur's look.Info from Gamespot.com
