Game of Thrones star Kit Harington appeared on The Tonight Show recently where he put his acting skills on full display while performing Train's "Drops of Jupiter."For years, Fallon has been trying to launch a segment called "Straight Up Goes For It," in which the celebrity guest performs "Drops of Jupiter" on a whim. Everyone said no, until Harington showed up this week and really went for it. He doesn't know how to play piano, but he's such a good actor that you can barely tell he's faking it."The sketch has been our white whale. We've been pitching it for years," Fallon said. "We finally have someone who has the guts to do it. He doesn't play the piano by the way. And he doesn't really even know how to sing. But, he's doing it because he's cool and he's funny and he gets it." Here's the incredible video:Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

After winning a game of Call of Duty: Warzone, players may notice that every member of their team doesn't escape the encroaching gas. A new cutscene has been added to the massively popular battle royale for Season 5 that seems to tease the next entry in the Call of Duty franchise, rumored to be called Call of Duty: Vanguard.A video posted to YouTube by OHB The Don shows what seems to be a normal victory cutscene. However, not all players make it into the helicopter. The last member of the team is instead shot, seemingly out of nowhere, and left on the ground while the chopper takes off. The camera then cuts to a woman dressed in an old Russian military uniform, complete with a USSR side cap and a sniper rifle, the barrel still smoking. To throw out any question of whether or not this cutscene is authentic, Sam Maggs, one of Call of Duty: Vanguard's writers, reacted to it on Twitter with a simple, "Atta girl."Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Call of Duty's Season 5 adds an ambitious new investigative objective mode to Black Ops Cold War called Double Agent. Similar to both Among Us and Trouble in Terrorist Town, Double Agent is a mode where certain players are assigned roles to try to sabotage a mission and stay incognito, while the rest of the competitors must work to uncover their identities. It's a much different sort of experience to see inside a Call of Duty game, but based on our impressions so far, it doesn't function well in public matches. You'll want to make sure to round up your friends if you want to enjoy this murder mystery mode. If you're diving into Double Agent, here's what you need to know about how it works, as well as why public matches are currently a nightmare.Double Agent matches are played out in five rounds with 10 players in a lobby. Before each round, all players are given a starting pistol and 25 seconds to scavenge better weapons from crates or floor loot. Players are then randomly sorted into one of the three assigned roles: Double Agents, Investigators, or Operatives.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Danny DeVito's take on the Penguin from 1992's Batman Returns is nothing short of iconic. This fall, DeVito is returning to the role, but he won't need any make-up for it, because the actor is writing a Penguin-focused story for the upcoming Gotham City Villains Anniversary Giant #1 one-shot anthology, GameRant reports.Oh good, i can talk about this now! So i've been working with @DannyDeVito & @Danmora_c to craft a very special Penguin story on sale this November. This has been one of the coolest experiences of my life and I'm super excited for everyone to read 🧠https://t.co/5bvSXcCTEh — Paul Kaminski (@Paul_Kaminski) August 13, 2021DC is pairing DeVito with artist Dan Mora for the story according to Batman group editor Paul Kaminski. The comic will also feature stories from writer/artist Wes Craig, writers G. Willow Wilson, Phillip Kennedy Johnson, Joshua Williamson, Stephanie Phillips, Dan Watters, and Mairghread Scott; art for these stories comes from Emma Rios, Riccardo Federici, Max Raynor, Max Fiumara, Skylar Patridge, Ariela Kristantina, Khary Randolph, Jill Thompson, Christian Ward, Gabriel Walta, and more.Batman Returns is remembered for its villains above all else, and especially for DeVito's creepy take on the Penguin. While many other portrayals of the character make him more of an outcast-turned-criminal than anything else, the Batman Returns version turned him into a sewer-dwelling monster who planned to steal all of Gotham's first-born sons and kill them when his plan to discredit Gotham's mayor and Batman didn't pan out.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

We've heard of Goombas hurting Mario in Super Mario Bros., but this is ridiculous. Super Nintendo World in Japan has been forced to temporarily close some of its attractions after a statue of several stacked Goombas broke free, falling onto the track of a ride. Fortunately, no one was hurt, or else they would have had to start the whole ride over again. As reported by the Japanese publication Asahi Digital and translated by VGC, a statue that features four Goomba enemies stacked on top of each other broke off earlier this month. It fell near the entrance to a Yoshi ride, and it was heavy to the point that multiple employees were barely able to lift it from where it landed.クリボーè½ä¸‹ãƒ¨ãƒƒã‚·ãƒ¼ä¼‘æ¢ä¸#USJ#マリオランド pic.twitter.com/UzPjuJeKEB — tatataâ˜ ï¸ (@tatata77747890) August 9, 2021No one was hurt, but more rides were closed in order to make sure something like this can't happen again at the Osaka-based park. It's currently the only Super Nintendo World park operating, and the Osaka location itself has its start date delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic. In terms of arcade machines, it doesn't get much more iconic than Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man. You also get Pac-Mania, Pac-Man Plus, and Galaxian, the predecessor to Galaga. Apple Original Films has announced that it will be the streaming home on November 5 for the long-delayed Tom Hanks-starring sci-fi movie, Finch. First announced as Bios in October 2017, the post-apocalyptic drama was originally slated for a 2020 theatrical release but the pandemic complicated those plans repeatedly.Apple acquired Finch back in May this year. The movie is, according to a release (via The Hollywood Reporter), about "a robotics engineer and one of the few survivors of a cataclysmic solar event that has left the world a wasteland. But Finch, who has been living in an underground bunker for a decade, has built a world of his own that he shares with his dog, Goodyear." Finch eventually builds a robot--voiced by Caleb Landry Jones (Get Out)--and the trio "embarks on a perilous journey into a desolate American West."The movie promises to be an exploration of "the joy and wonder of what it means to be alive," which should carry additional weight given recent real-world events. The conceit of a time-loop, its infinite cycles and the stress of finding a way out, is a familiar one. Yet, the upcoming narrative adventure game, Twelve Minutes, focuses on a more intimate and emotional experience about the lives of others and the secrets they hide. A nameless protagonist is caught in an unending time-loop within his apartment, and players will have to uncover long-held secrets about central characters, a girlfriend who's caught in the middle, and an intruder that ends his life. With every loop peeling back the layers of each character, Twelve Minutes uses the concept of a time-loop to act as an extended lesson in empathy, which is something the creator and actors working on the game found enticing. We spoke with game director Luis Antonio and lead actors James McAvoy and Willem Dafoe about the making of Twelve Minutes, and what they learned about their experience taking part in the creation of a non-linear gameEditor’s Note: This interview has been edited for clarity and readability.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Battlefield 2042's first technical test has started, and it didn't take long for leaked footage of the game to hit the web, despite the test being under a non-disclosure agreement that forbids the sharing of screenshots or video of the game in action. The leaked videos give players the best look yet at Battlefield 2042, including new gadgets, vehicles, and the new "Plus" menu that allows players to customize their weapon on the fly mid-firefight.While the exact origin of the leaks is unclear, they are presumably from the first day of the technical test, and at least some of the footage appears to have been uploaded to the Chinese video sharing platform Bilibili before being shared and reuploaded to YouTube by other users.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com
