Epic Games has pulled back the curtain on its teased Batman crossover event in Fortnite. To celebrate the Caped Crusader's 80th anniversary, the iconic superhero is invading the battle royale game until October 6, giving players a chance to snag some cool Batman skins, play around with Batman gadgets, and more.Until the aforementioned date, you'll be able to purchase a Batman Caped Crusader Pack from Fortnite's in-game store. It includes two different Batman outfits, a Batwing-styled glider, and a Batman-themed harvesting tool. Epic is also selling various other Batman-inspired items in the store until that date, including a Catwoman skin. You can take a look at those, as well as the official reveal trailer, below. To coincide with the crossover event, a new Rift Zone has opened up, transforming Tilted Town into Gotham City, and you'll be able to find and use Batman gadgets such as the Grapnel Gun and Explosive Batarang. Naturally, there is also a set of Batman-themed challenges to complete, which will unlock other Batman-inspired cosmetics like the Catwing Glider. These challenges are free for all players--not just those who own a Season 10 Battle Pass--and will be available until October 1. You can read more details about the Batman crossover event on Epic's website.Season 10 of Fortnite is also slated to end on October 6, which means time is running out to complete any remaining challenges you still need to do from this season. The most recent batch is Week 8's Storm Racers challenges, and they involve landing on a hilltop with a circle of trees and dancing at different telescopes. You can find more maps and guides in our Fortnite Season 10 challenges hub.Fortnite's most recent update, v10.31, rolled out earlier this week, and it added a new Party Hub feature on mobile that lets players see which of their friends are online, form a party with them, and voice chat. Fortnite's latest crossover event is now underway. This time, the Caped Crusader Batman has invaded Epic's popular battle royale shooter, bringing new Batman-themed skins, gadgets, and more to the game, not to mention a set of limited-time Batman challenges. You'll have until October 1 to clear these and unlock other Batman-inspired cosmetics, including a special Catwing Glider.Thankfully, most of the challenges are straightforward, so you shouldn't have much trouble completing them. However, one task that'll require you to do a bit of searching is to light different Bat Signals outside of Gotham City. If you're not sure where those are, don't worry--we show you exactly where you need to go below.Where Are The Bat Signal Locations? As the challenge states, you'll need to light Bat Signals outside of Gotham City--the new Rift Zone that appeared where Titled Town was previously located. There are several signals scattered around the island, most of which are located in the northwestern portion of the map, but you only need to light three of them to complete this challenge. We've marked down all the locations of the Bat Signals we've found below. How To Complete The ChallengeFortunately, once you know where to look, this challenge is simply a matter of making your way to a Bat Signal and interacting with it to light it. The Bat Signals can be lit by multiple players, so don't worry if you see someone else activate one before you; it will turn off shortly afterward, allowing you to light it as well. Once you've lit three signals, you'll complete the challenge and take home 10 Battle Stars for your efforts. As previously mentioned, the Fortnite Batman challenges will be available until October 1, so you have until then to complete them and unlock their corresponding rewards. Epic is also selling a Batman Caped Crusader Pack from Fortnite's in-game store until October 6, which includes two different Batman outfits, a Batwing-styled glider, and a Batman-themed harvesting tool. October 6 is the same day Season 10 of Fortnite is scheduled to end, according to Epic's website, so if you need help finishing up any remaining challenges before then, be sure to check out our Fortnite Season 10 challenges hub.Info from Gamespot.com

Fortnite's teased Batman crossover event is now underway, bringing an assortment of Batman-inspired content to the game. Not only are there Batman skins and other cosmetics to purchase from the in-game store, there's also a set of limited-time Batman challenges to complete, which will unlock other rewards such as a Catwing Glider. The Fortnite Batman challenges will be live until October 1, so you have until then to complete all of them and claim a special prize. Fortunately, most of the tasks are fairly straightforward and can be cleared with enough persistence, but one that may give you some trouble asks you to defuse Joker canisters found in different named locations. If you're not sure where to look, we explain where to go and what to do below.Where Are The Joker Gas Canister Locations?Unlike the Bat Signals you need to light for a different Batman challenge, the Joker canisters do not appear in the exact same locations each match; however, like Vending Machines, the areas they can spawn in are fixed. On top of that, they aren't reusable like the Bat Signals; if another player defuses a Joker canister before you, that one will no longer be available. That said, there are a couple of places you could reliably expect the canisters to appear; we've personally had luck finding them in Lucky Landing, Salty Springs, and the new Gotham City Rift Zone. These certainly aren't the only canisters hidden around the island, but you only need to defuse three of them, so we'd recommend looking at the areas marked below. You can also see exactly where we've found the canisters in the video at the top of this guide. How To Complete The ChallengeOnce you've located a Joker canister, you'll need to interact with it to defuse it. As the challenge states, you'll need to defuse the canisters in three different named locations for your work to count, so you can't simply deactivate three of them within the same area. Once you've defused all three, you'll earn 10 Battle Stars for your troubles and be one step closer to unlocking the Catwing Glider.Fortnite's Batman challenges will be available until October 1, while the Batman skins and other cosmetics will remain in the in-game store until October 6--the same day Season 10 is set to end. If you need help completing any remaining challenges from this season, you can find maps and guides in our Fortnite Season 10 challenges hub.Info from Gamespot.com

The first episode of GameSpot Universe's exciting new series, True Fiction, is now available. If you're not aware of it, True Fiction is a show about the real-life inspirations behind some of the fantastical stories we've come to love. The line between fantasy and reality is much blurrier than most realize and this is a show about delving into the origins of pop culture's most compelling movies, TV shows, and more. The first episode is all about Twin Peaks. More specifically, the murder that inspired the creation of the beloved, weird, and utterly surreal TV show. You can check out True Fiction on the GameSpot Universe YouTube channel, where new episodes will be released every Sunday.Along with the episode, we've got some insight from Kurt Indovina, who writes and presents True Fiction, about the process of creating the show and his love of Twin Peaks. Check it all out below.Kurt: I was changed after I saw Twin Peaks. It reshaped my views on everything I watched after it. Twin Peaks taught me to revel in the thrill of a mystery, to cherish the unknown, and come to terms with the idea that not every question merits an answer. It’s a show that’s so weird and perverse that I saw it as a reflection of the twisted minds of the show's creators Mark Frost and David Lynch. Which is why it was so troubling and bizarre for me to learn that it was, in fact, inspired by something that really happened: a cold case from over a century ago, the murder of Hazel Drew.To my surprise, when I learned about Hazel Drew and her mysterious death, I found myself conflicted. For a show that often never answered its own questions, learning that there was a definitive origin for Twin Peaks, and that it came from our reality, started to dispel the enigmatic nature of the show and its creators--the reality of Hazel’s case seemed to suddenly reveal too much. But like all good mysteries, I couldn't help but be mesmerized. And unlike the murder of Laura Palmer in Twin Peaks, Hazel's murder remains unsolved.Diving in and learning everything about Hazel's complicated case, and the countless questions it raised, left me with the feeling that Twin Peaks wasn't so strange after all, and that the truth behind its inspiration is more frightening, because it did happen. And that's what encapsulates what I love so much about True Fiction: It's about showing that the inspirations for the pop-culture we adore is often darker, stranger, and even more interesting. My hope is that, in the same way that learning about Hazel Drew's untimely and unsolved death forced me to look at Twin Peaks from a different perspective, you will walk away from each episode thinking about the movies, TV shows, and other subjects we cover in a different way.So I'm not just proud and ecstatic for True Fiction's premiere episode to be based on something near and dear to me like Twin Peaks, but to tell the real story of Hazel Drew, and allow her story to live on alongside one of the most iconic shows her sad case inspired.Laura Palmer's story--the murder of a picture perfect girl in a small town--has since become a trope so common in movies and television that it's hard to ever disassociate it with Twin Peaks. But now, I may only think of Hazel Drew.Further Reading For Episode 1Original Washington Post story by David Bushmen and Mark GivensCommunity website focused on Hazel Drew and her murder"Who Killed Hazel Drew?" by Ron Hughes -- Kurt read this book cover to cover, and it was really valuable to research Hazel Drew And Twin Peaks -- Another article used for research"Blonde, Beautiful, and Dead" coverage Info from Gamespot.com

Disney was very close to acquiring social media giant Twitter, but the company pulled out at the 11th hour because CEO Bob Iger had a number of particular misgivings.Writing in his new book, Iger said Disney originally wanted to buy Twitter to help "modernize its distribution," according to The New York Times. However, Iger ended up calling Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey "at the last minute" to tell him the deal was off, which reportedly stunned Dorsey.Iger said Twitter was experiencing "troubles" that were too much for Disney to absorb. He also personally reflected that the Twitter user experience, for him, was anything but pleasant."The troubles were greater than I wanted to take on, greater than I thought it was responsible for us to take on," Iger said. "There were Disney brand issues, the whole impact of technology on society. The nastiness is extraordinary. I like looking at my Twitter newsfeed because I want to follow 15, 20 different subjects."Then you turn and look at your notifications and you're immediately saying, why am I doing this? Why do I endure this pain? Like a lot of these platforms, they have the ability to do a lot of good in our world. They also have an ability to do a lot of bad. I didn't want to take that on."The full New York Times interview with Iger is incredibly fascinating; go read it here. While the Twitter buyout didn't work out, Iger has overseen four epic-sized acquisitions during his time at Disney. These included the buyout of Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and finally Fox. When Disney bought Star Wars, Iger recalled that Fox boss Rupert Murdoch "was crazed" because Fox already had an in-road with Star Wars as the distributor of George Lucas' Star Wars films."Rupert was crazed that we bought Lucas," Iger said. "They were the distributor of all of George's movies, and he was very disappointed in his people. 'Why didn't you think of this?'" Iger said.Disney's next big movie is Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which hits theatres in December. It wraps up decades worth of storytelling, bringing an end to the Skywalker Saga that began in 1977.Info from Gamespot.com

It appears Batman: Arkham Origins developer WB Games Montreal is teasing its new game. The studio tweeted today, September 22, for the first time in more than four years, with what looks to be a cryptic teaser for a new project. The tweet celebrates the 80th anniversary of Batman's first comic book appearance back in 1939 with a video that shows the Bat-Signal projected onto a building. But there is more to it. The video also contains flashes, at :03 and :21, of mysterious symbols that you can see below.People are speculating that at least one of the symbols is in reference to the secret society, the Court of Owls, that exists in the Batman universe. Intriguingly, a WB Games Montreal developer tweeted in November 2018 a picture of a developer wearing a t-shirt with owl imagery on it. The tweet appears to be in reference to an upcoming, unannounced project.@WBGamesMTL is proud to celebrate Batman’s 80th anniversary with rest of the world during #BatmanDay #Batman80 pic.twitter.com/4VGz9kBWxj — WB Games Montréal (@WBGamesMTL) September 22, 2019WB Games Montreal's latest tweet contains hidden symbols, possibly teasing their next Batman game. The studio is massive, as it currently employs more than 300 people and continues to staff up.In 2016, Kotaku reported that WB Games Montreal canceled a Suicide Squad game and shifted focus to a new Batman game starring Damian Wayne. This could be the new title that WB Games Montreal is teasing, as Damian Wayne was featured in the 2012 comic "Night of Owls" that focuses on Batman's fight against the Court of Owls. Nothing is confirmed, however. In 2018, WB Games Montreal senior designer Osama Dorias said on the Humans of Gaming podcast that the studio was working on a "couple projects" connected to the DC universe. One of these games is a "major console game, open world, DC universe," Dorias said.Meanwhile, Batman: Arkham Knight studio Rocksteady is also working on a new project, though it has not been announced.People are speculating that a forthcoming Batman game reveal could happen at the PlayStation State of Play event this week, though nothing at all has lent any credence to this. The NPD Group has released its projections for the best-selling games of 2019, and the predicted top-seller should be no surprise. NPD Group analyst Mat Piscatella said he expects Activision's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare to be the best-selling game of 2019 in the US.If that happens, it would mark the 9th time in 11 years that a Call of Duty game was the year's top-seller. The only two times in the past 11 years that a Call of Duty game was not No. 1 for the year in the US was 2013 when it was Grand Theft Auto V and 2018 when it was Red Dead Redemption 2.The NPD report goes on to predict that NBA 2K20 will be No. 2 in 2019, improving the franchise's No. 3 place from 2018. Madden NFL 20 will finish as the No. 3 best-seller for 2019, according to Piscatella. Borderlands 3 and Mortal Kombat 11 will round out the top five, according to the prediction. The full Top 10 list of predictions for 2019 best-sellers can be seen below. In terms of consoles, Piscatella says he thinks the Nintendo Switch will end 2019 as the year's best-selling console. The Switch was the first half of 2019's best-selling console. Not only that, but it's the only system in the US that's growing in sales year over year. With the recent launch of the Switch Lite and the forthcoming release of Pokemon Sword and Shield, the Switch is expected to reach the highest annual unit sales number in the US since the Xbox 360 in 2011.Across games and consoles, total spending on video games in the US for 2019 is expected to reach $44.6 billion in 2019; that would be up modestly from $42.2 billion in 2018.2019 Best-Selling Video Game Predictions (US Only)Call of Duty: Modern WarfareNBA 2K20Madden NFL 20Borderlands 3Mortal Kombat 11Star Wars: Jedi Fallen OrderGhost Recon: BreakpointKingdom Hearts IIIThe Division 2Pokemon Sword (digital sales not included) Info from Gamespot.com

Untitled Goose Game--a game in which you play as a jerk goose who waddles through a small English town ruining everyone's day-- feels like a miniature version of Hitman, but with mischief instead of murder. Like those games, it's all about learning an environment inside-out and figuring out how to play various people and systems against each other to achieve your goals. You wander between four small, quaint locations and tick off objectives from your list by wreaking havoc on the people you encounter and generally being a nuisance. At first, you're annoying a man as he tends to his garden, turning on his sprinklers as he stands over them, stealing the keys to his gate, nicking his produce, and generally getting in his way. The game continues like this, as the goose's to-do list demands that it causes upset to most of the people it encounters. Working through the game means figuring out how each element interacts with everything else and how to corralling various people, who all react to the goose differently. It's a comedy first and foremost. Figuring out how to complete each objective might be essential to your progress, but the real fun is in seeing how harried you can make everyone. When you need to make a man spit out his tea, steal his shoes, and ruin his garden, you might start to feel sorry for him, but you also won't want to stop terrorizing him. The goose can only run, grab onto things, honk, and flap its wings, but through some combination of these actions you can manipulate the folks you encounter and cause chaos. One character might run in fear if you honk at them; another might bend over if you drop something for them, giving you a chance to steal their hat; another might leave their post if you steal something of theirs and drop it far away, giving you the chance to go back while they're distracted and steal the object you were really after all along. The humor of Untitled Goose Game is built into the mechanics and animations; seeing the goose waddle along, honking and flapping its wings, is inherently amusing and satisfying even before you start causing mischief because of how perfectly evocative it is of a real bird. The clean, colorful visual style is also a treat. But the reactive soundtrack is what really sells the goose's charms. The music, based on Claude Debussy's Préludes, springs into action dynamically based on the goose's actions, punctuating moments when it shocks someone and adding a buoyancy to any scene involving a chase. It gives the game a feeling of farce; at its best, it's reminiscent of a Buster Keaton film, especially since there's no dialogue. The objectives you're asked to complete often require some lateral thinking. Getting into the headspace of the goose and figuring out how a few actions can spiral into something that's going to annoy one of your targets is very entertaining. Sometimes it's immediately clear what you need to do, and sometimes the solution is more abstract, but most objectives will name an object that you can find within the environment. In the second location, for instance, you're told to "get on TV"--the solution isn't immediately obvious, but finding the TV you need to interact with is not difficult. Untitled Goose Game lightly leads you towards its puzzle solutions without explicitly holding your hand through them, so figuring out a clever solution is rewarding. You need to complete all but one objective in each location to advance, which is a nice concession, as it means you can progress to the next area even if one of the puzzles just isn't clicking for you. Sometimes it's just a matter of figuring out what needs to be done and then doing it, but you also need to practice some level of finesse: The goose can't get too close to anyone who's going to try to shoo it away, and you'll often need to be stealthy, sneaking under tables, causing distractions, and hiding behind bushes and in boxes like a long-necked, web-toed Solid Snake. Each area also features a fetch quest objective, for which you need to gather several items and put them in one place while making sure that you're not caught. These objectives are the least fun, generally, because too much is left to the imagination; the first one asks you to "have a picnic" by dragging a variety of particular items to a picnic blanket, but once you've done so the objective is immediately complete, with no additional vignettes or animations to reward all that effort. Untitled Goose Game's best objectives reward you not only with a feeling of satisfaction, but with a fun, charming bit of interaction between the goose and the people it encounters, whether that means watching a man stumble around with a bucket on his head or watching someone else wearily resign themselves to their favorite hat being gone.Untitled Goose Game is also extremely short. When I reached the end, I was surprised at how little time it had taken--I had only been playing for about two hours. Thankfully, after the credits roll you unlock a new list of objectives across the now fully unlocked map, but there isn't the same incentive to complete them when you know that you won't be rewarded with a new location to explore, or even, necessarily, new interactions. Most of them are twists on previous objectives or more complicated versions of things you've already done, often involving moving items between different locations.I'm glad that those extra objectives are there, though, and I had a good time working through them. It's just a shame that there isn't a bit more, because Untitled Goose Game ends far before I felt like I'd had my fill or seen everything the game was going to throw at me. Being short isn't inherently bad, but Untitled Goose Game's playground could stand to be bigger. I wished that I could keep riding the high of unlocking new areas and messing with new people, and it still felt like there was plenty of room to escalate things. For all the jerkiness I performed, my favorite moment in Untitled Goose Game was the one scene where the game leaned into the goose's charms. I wandered up behind two people having a chat at the pub and hit the button dedicated to honking. The two women turned to look at me, startled, but far less hostile than most of the characters I'd encountered. When I stood in a specific spot they mimed commands for me to perform, fulfilling one of my objectives while absolutely delighting the two women. Untitled Goose Game is a hilariously antagonistic experience most of the time, but I identified strongly with these characters and how lovable they found this horrible goose. The important thing is that Untitled Goose Game is a hoot. It's a comedy game that focuses on making the act of playing it funny, rather than simply being a game that features jokes. Wishing that it was longer speaks to how much fun I had with it. There's nothing else quite like Untitled Goose Game; it's charming and cute despite being mean, and both very silly and very clever. It's also probably the best non-racing game ever to feature a dedicated "honk" button.Info from Gamespot.com

Warning: Lots of spoilers herein for the Gears of War franchise and for plot points in Gears 5.I keep waiting for Gears of War to do something challenging with its story. With the release of Gears 5, the franchise is now 13 years old, and yet it's still walking along the same narrative path as the original Gears of War trilogy. Humanity is banding together with its last vestiges of authority to fight an existential threat of subterranean monsters. Those monsters never negotiate, engage in diplomacy, or show mercy. They have to be wiped out--and the Coalition of Ordered Governments has just the extremely beefy, well-armed, globe-spanning army to do the job.Gears 5 revists a number of the same plot points as the original Gears of War trilogy, as new protagonist Kait and her squad try to figure out what the deal is with the Swarm, the new, evolved brand of the old Locust threat. Kait's journey to find out about her personal ties to the Locust takes her through old COG facilities that explain the Locust's origin, but the game doesn't do much of anything with that information. Yet again, Gears 5 is a game about killing all the faceless, frightening monsters so you can save all the humans. That's fine, since an unstoppable army of sharp-toothed crocodile-people with machine guns makes for a good set of enemies for a shooter. But what's weird is that Gears 5 hints at bigger ideas--ideas that have been swirling around the Gears story for the whole of its existence. But the game never really engages with those ideas beyond using them as set dressing to push you into cover behind a chest-high wall. Gears as a franchise seems like it might have a lot of interesting things to say, if it ever committed to saying them.It all starts with the COG, a government the heroes serve mostly because it's the only game in town. It's a well-established fact in the Gears universe that the COG is more than just vaguely fascist, using a lot of patriotic language and iconography while engaging in horrible acts. They're the surviving government of a past series of conflicts between humans, the Pendulum Wars, and when the Locust show up on Emergence Day in the first Gears of War, the COG is just about the only organization with the soldiers and the guns to deal. You spend time in most of the Gears games trying to recruit people to the COG in the face of the Locust/Swarm threat. There are people who live in the COG's Romanesque cities, and then there are settlers out in the wilderness, going it alone, in the name of freedom from the COG's authoritarian control. Gears is full of people who don't like to live under the COG boot for a number of reasons, but the biggest is the fact the COG killed a bunch of civilians as collateral damage when fighting the Locust.Early in the war, the COG used giant orbital lasers, the Hammer of Dawn system, to blast the advancing Locust horde. But when it did so, the COG also leveled most of the human cities on the planet and turned huge portions of it into a wasteland. In the original trilogy, the humans left behind during the Locust war were called the Stranded. Gears 5's anti-COG folks, choosing to live outside of the government's system, are known as Outsiders--and main characters Kait, JD, and Del are all counted among them in Gears of War 4. Gears acknowledges people with a legitimate beef against the COG, but never really dwells on why they feel the way they do, or what it means for you to serve on the side of the authoritarians you might disagree with.Gears doesn't just gesture at the COG's oppression, it takes time to fully illuminate some of its most heinous acts. Gears of War 2 explores the origin of the Locust and Gears 5 revisits all that territory, revealing that the Locust threat was created by COG experiments--on children--to create soldiers to fight its wars for resources. The Locust escaped underground, later emerging as a threat great enough that it could wipe out humanity, and the COG covered the whole thing up--until it was discovered by the protagonists of the series. The Gears franchise clearly has some thoughts about how governments engage in warfare, how they treat their citizens, and how they shirk accountability. Despite having some incredibly important knowledge about the conflict they're embroiled in, though, neither Marcus nor Kait ever do anything with that information. The nature of the Gears franchise is to focus on soldiers on the ground, dealing with the weight of the war around them and, at times, the unreliable brass sending them into dangerous situations. They're the literal gears of war, and yet the series never really pushes them to think about the war machine they're driving. And then there's the Gears relationship with genocide. Most of the story of Gears 5 is about bringing the Hammer of Dawn, a weapon of mass destruction responsible for a lot of mass destruction, back online. The opening portion of Gears 5 deals with some of the implications of the Hammer of Dawn, but its dangerous effects are mostly relegated to a few brief character interactions without much in the way of far-reaching consequences. The Hammer of Dawn is an incredibly powerful creation that doesn't discriminate about who it destroys, and yet even as Gears acknowledges its deadly, horrific possibilities, it doesn't linger on them. The main Gears trilogy made you a part of some pretty awful actions as well. At the end of each of the three games, Marcus and his squad inflicted massive death on the Locust, first with the Light Mass bomb, then with the sinking of the COG city of Jacinto to flood their underground caverns with seawater, and finally with a weapon developed by Adam Fenix, Marcus's dad, that brought the Locust to extinction. (The Swarm, a mutated version of the Locust, exists thanks to that last weapon.)Part of this is an inherent conflict between the badass nature of burly soldiers chainsawing baddies and the idea of telling an emotional story about the horrors of war. In the past, weapons like the Hammer lent themselves to some pretty cool video game moments as it rained death down on the biggest, meanest, hardest-to-stop abominations the Locust horde could throw at humanity. Gears is trying to have deep characters (recall the heavy use of "Mad World" in Gears of War 3 and its marketing) as well as its superheroic moments of kicking ass. But the emphasis on the latter undercuts the former, and Gears still hasn't managed to strike a balance between them. And the thing is, Gears establishes that the Locust aren't just unthinking monsters who only know enough to use guns and wear pants. In the trilogy, you spend time in the Hollow, the Locust's home, and discover their cities. You find that they have art, written language, and religion. They have a social hierarchy. They don't just destroy--they build, too.In the first Gears of War, you uncover the reason for the war on humanity: it's because the horde also faces extinction. Underground, the Locust fight another enemy called the Lambent, a version of the Locust mutated by exposure to a fuel source called Imulsion. The Lambent are driving the Locust out of the underground homes, killing or converting whoever they find. Coming to the surface is a situation forced on the Locust by those circumstances, and in Gears of War 3, you learn that Adam's weapon was created because he was working with Mirrah, the Locust queen, to try to eliminate the Lambent and save the Locust.Yes, the Locust represent an existential threat that's looking to wipe out humanity, and which engages in a number of horrifying acts against their victims. There's an argument that the humans have no choice but to respond in kind to such an enemy. The problem is, nobody really has that argument. Gears is obviously aware of these ideas, but it never puts those questions to its characters. Kait and her squad rush around the world trying to make the Hammer of Dawn work again in Gears 5, and while a couple characters stop to wonder if it's a good idea, they put up little opposition to it. The idea that the Hammer might not be worth the human cost only provides momentary pause. Some of the best writing in Gears 5 is its on-the-ground character work between the members of Delta squad, and it's pretty clear that The Coalition has the chops to write strong, interesting characters dealing with extraordinary, emotional situations. That's what makes its reticence to deal with the bigger ideas so frustrating--it would only make the characters and storytelling stronger if they were allowed to spend more time on the less heroic moments and their consequences. Gears doesn't need to change what it fundamentally is--a shooter about fighting monsters who want to kill everyone--but there's a lot more it could do in pushing those characters about how they fight their war, how they feel about their actions, and what they're willing to sacrifice of themselves to survive, individually and as a species. It's clear the Coalition is thinking about these ideas. It should challenge its players to think about them, too. Info from Gamespot.com

Mewtwo may be leaving Raid Battles in Pokemon Go very soon, but another Legendary is set to return in its place. Giratina, the Legendary Ghost/Dragon Pokemon from Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, is making an encore appearance in Raids beginning 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET on September 23, giving you another chance to add it to your collection.Giratina will appear in five-star Raid Battles until October 17. As when it first debuted in Go, the Pokemon will be in its Altered Forme; this time around, however, you'll have a chance of encountering a Shiny version.
