After a few days of confusing silence and nothingness, Fortnite has emerged from the black hole that engulfed the game with plenty of new changes in tow. Fortnite Chapter 2 isn't a completely different beast from previous seasons--it's still the battle royale you remember--but there's still lots of new content to weed through. Below, we've outlined the biggest changes. For those who haven't been keeping track, Fortnite: Battle Royale recently disappeared into a black hole and went offline. After more than a day of nothingness and the occasional appearance of random numbers, the battle royale returned with a major update across all platforms. Rather than follow tradition and transition into Season 11 however, the battle royale took a more transformative approach and pushed forward into the first season of its second chapter. Fortnite: Battle Royale is available on PC, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and mobile.Season 1 of Chapter 2 continues until December 12, which is slightly shorter than the traditional Fortnite season. Remember, seasonal rewards are only available during their respective seasons. If something catches your fancy this season, you have until December 12 to earn it.For more:Fortnite Chapter 2 Patch Notes Are A No-ShowNew Map, More WaterThe most notable change for Chapter 2 is the brand-new map. Granted, the map isn't entirely new, as Chapter 2's map utilizes several of the landmarks from Fortnite's original battleground--such as Salty Springs, Pleasant Park, and Retail Row. There are adjustments to their overall layout, but many sections are just repurposed from the original map. So this new map isn't new to the same extent as Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's Alcatraz or Apex Legends' World's Edge. That said, there are some noticeable changes in the layout of Fortnite's new map. Specifically, the new map places a larger emphasis on water, adding several interconnected rivers, lakes, and beaches. This creates an added emphasis on positional awareness, as your escape from the approaching zone wall or planned flank of an enemy squad has a higher chance of being impeded by water. If you don't want to glide over the water or swim across it, Chapter 2 introduces a new vehicle to Fortnite: the boat. Boats can carry a squad and they're much faster than swimming. However, they're noisy, alerting all nearby squads to your position with their loud motors. For more:Fortnite Season 11 Is Here In The Form Of Chapter 2 Update With A New MapFortnite Chapter 2's New Map: Here's What's DifferentYou Can Fish NowWater isn't just an added navigational obstacle to the new map, though. It presents a brand-new way to acquire resources as well. With a fishing rod, you can now hook yourself some impressive loot--ranging from Epic-tier weapons to magically healing fish. Fishing also helps you level up in Chapter 2, Season 1's battle pass. For more:Fortnite Chapter 2 Has Fishing: Here's How To Fish And What You Can CatchBrand-New Battle Pass And ChallengesSpeaking of the battle pass, there's a new one for you to level up in. Just like with previous seasons, the battle pass costs 950 V-Bucks (roughly $10 USD) and offers 100 tiers of rewards to earn, including cosmetic skins, wraps, back bling, loading screens, and a whole lot more. If you want a head start, you can purchase the first 25 levels with the battle pass bundle for 2,800 V-Bucks (roughly $30 USD).As usual, completing weekly challenges will allow you to level up in the battle pass and unlock its rewards. However, Chapter 2, Season 1's battle pass offers a bunch of new ways to rank up--such as the aforementioned fishing--providing several alternative avenues for acquiring the rewards you want. Other than fishing, you'll also rank up in the battle pass by looting chests, killing opponents, harvesting materials, and surviving into the late-game of each match. This new battle pass does go beyond level 100 as well, though it's unclear what you earn for doing so.For more:Fortnite's Chapter 2 Battle Pass Is Easier To Level Up Than BeforeFortnite Chapter 2: All The New Battle Pass Skins, Emotes, Bling, And MoreWeapon UpgradesThe materials you find in-game are no longer solely used for creating structures. You can now use them to upgrade your weapons via an upgrade bench. You can find one in Craggy Cliffs, with others scattered throughout the map. We have yet to determine if there's a randomness to where they spawn though. To provide an example, say you have a weapon with a Common rarity and plenty of leftover materials. According to reports, Neil Patrick Harris will star alongside Keanu Reeves, and Carrie-Ann Moss in the sci-fi sequel. The news comes via Variety. No details about the part Harris will play have been revealed, and nothing is known about the movie's storyline, beyond the fact that Reeves and Moss will reprise their roles as Neo and Trinity from the original Matrix films. Harris is best known for the long-running comedy How I Met Your Mother as well as movies such as Gone Girl and Starship Troopers. The Matrix 4 will be directed by Lana Wachowski, who helmed the previous three Matrix movies with sister Lilly. The first reports of a new Matrix movie emerged in 2017, and in May this year, there were conflicting reports about whether it was happening or not. The movie was officially announced in August, and although it does not yet have a confirmed release date, it is expected to start shooting in early 2020.The first Matrix movie brought in $463.5 million worldwide, and it spawned two sequels: 2003's Matrix Reloaded--grossing $742.1 million worldwide--and Matrix Revolutions--taking in $427.3 million worldwide. Chapter 2 of Fortnite has arrived, marking a new beginning for the hit battle royale game. That means instead of continuing with Season 11, Epic has kicked off Chapter 2, Season 1, and there's already a set of challenges for players to complete. The first batch of missions is called "New World," and it's available to everyone, whether or not you've purchased a Chapter 2 Battle Pass. Most of the tasks have you exploring the new map to discover landmarks, among other objectives. As was the case last season, only a handful of the challenges are initially available, with more unlocking as you complete them. One of the later tasks in particular may give you some trouble; it asks you to search the hidden F found in the New World loading screen. If you're not sure where to look, the guide below will help you find the hidden F and complete the challenge.Where Is The Hidden "F" Location? As the challenge states, the F's location is hidden in the New World loading screen, which you'll unlock after completing eight of the New World challenges. The loading screen in question is the main piece of keyart for Chapter 2, featuring a group of characters standing on a cliff overlooking Fortnite's new map. You can see the screen below:If you look closely, you'll be able to spot the F near Lazy Lake, one of the new named locations that appeared with the start of Chapter 2. The town is nestled in the southeast portion of the island--that's where you'll need to go to find the F. You can see exactly where the letter is located on the map below. How To Complete The ChallengeOnce you know where the F is hidden, you'll need to head to Lazy Lakes to retrieve it. The letter will appear on a hill just east of the town. Fortnite: Chapter 2 might have new ways to level up your Battle Pass, but it still offers challenges to complete for XP that helps you level up more quickly and get those new skins. Chapter 2's launch has brought a set of "New World" challenges that are available to all players, paid Battle Pass or not, and among the three that are revealed immediately is one that asks you to discover landmarks. You'll need to find 10 landmarks total, but the locations aren't listed on the in-game map--and with the map itself being new, you may wonder where you need to go.Fortunately, this challenge isn't especially difficult because there are more than 10 landmarks on the map. That said, you can't revisit the same landmark in different matches--you'll actually need to hunt down 10 different ones, be it in one match or across multiple rounds. Simply approaching a landmark should cause its name to pop up in the corner of the screen, which is all you need to do to register progress for the challenge. You can check out our map below or video guide above for confirmed landmark locations.Fortnite Landmark LocationsLandmarks are all around the map: They're essentially named locations, but smaller. You won't find them on the map, but wandering around on roads and paths away from named locations is generally the best way to find them. If you look at your in-game map, you'll see it slowly revealed as you explore during Chapter 2 for the first time. As such, you can head to a place that you know you haven't been and, odds are, you'll stumble upon a landmark.Alternatively, you can check out our locations map above, which points out many of the landmarks that we've been able to confirm. As already noted, there are more than 10 on the map, and any 10 will do, but this map should help to ensure you find enough to complete the challenge. Doing so will allow you to reveal more of the New World challenges and, after completing eight total from this set, will net you a new loading screen. The first Iron Banner event of Destiny 2's Year 3 has begun, and it coincides with the release of a new update. Today, Bungie released hotfix update 2.6.0.4, which as the name suggests is primarily concerned with fixing lingering issues that have been impacting the game, including crashes during Black Armory forge runs. Here's what's in the patch notes, as well as what to do if you get a "Destiny 2 servers are not available error."Update 2.6.0.4 went live following a brief period of maintenance. It should download automatically--it's less than a 100 MB download on Xbox One--but if it doesn't, you might receive the aforementioned error when logging in. If so, try manually triggering the update or restart your system to ensure it's installed; if it's not, you won't be able to get online to play. The patch addresses some serious issues. The Black Armory's Gofannon forge has been bugged since the release of Shadowkeep, causing the game to crash when the Servitor spawns. Because the four forges are now rotated through in a playlist, rather than being available individually, the forges have effectively been unplayable when Gofannon is in the rotation. That should now be fixed.Season 8 Iron Banner "Iron Will" armor setsOther fixes include those related to the use of certain characters in player or clan names and fields causing errors, Nightmare Hunts' Time Trial Master triumph not progressing, and a Powerful reward not dropping from Nightfall: The Ordeal. You can see the full patch notes below. These fixes will be welcome news for those who have been impacted, but for everyone else, the most notable Destiny 2 news is the arrival of Iron Banner. This is the first instance of it during Shadowkeep/Season of the Undying, and it brings some previously announced changes (as well as bonus Valor). There are just four bounties total to get from Lord Saladin at the Tower, but each one rewards you with Pinnacle gear--high-end drops that are the only way to advance your Power level from 950 to the current cap of 960. This consists of a few of the objective types we've previously seen as bounties. However, one of the quest steps you'll encounter calls for you to land 10 Super final blows, but the icon shows a grenade launcher. Nyla Rose is the first transgender wrestler working for a major promotion. Even if many wrestling fans focus on her accomplishments in the ring while working at All Elite Wrestling, there are those that take issue with her for some reason or another.During New York Comic-Con, AEW wrestlers Nyla Rose and Jungle Boy spoke about transgender wrestling during a roundtable interview, and Rose had an interesting and hilarious way to look at this so-called controversy. "On TV, [there are] all these television shows about ghosts and ghost hunters, and everyone's like, 'Yeah, ghosts!' Okay," she jokingly stated. "First of all, nevermind the fact that you're in like an 18th century German castle. Why is the ghost speaking English? Nevermind that. But everybody's like, 'Yeah ghosts! That's plausible.' They get shows [where people] hunt for Bigfoot. 'Oh, let's go hunt bigfoot. He's definitely out there.'"But the second you're like, 'Hey, I'm trans, and I just don't feel right inside.' [People say] 'Oh that's preposterous! There's no way that's possible!' That is the wildest s*** to me," Rose continued. "There's a lot of misinformation, and a lot of it is just people being stubborn because it's different because it's weird and wild and zany. They don't want to learn about it, and they'll just kind of take all the crap that they've been told and just run with that. Not look at new science, not look at new studies. It's willful ignorance is what it is."While the scenario Rose presented drew a lot of laughs from the roundtable, it's a perfect point. Wrestling is nothing more than entertainment and no different than some of the more preposterous supposed reality TV programming. And on the same note, Jungle Boy--an AEW wrestler who is smaller in stature compared to his co-workers--made note about the size difference between competitors. "I've wrestled guys like three times my size, and no one makes a fuss about that," he explained.Rose additionally noted that she wants to be known as more than a transgender wrestler, that it should be normalized: Where trans people can live in a world where it's not an issue, and they can live normal lives. She also noted she wants to world to know that she likes photography and loves Pokemon, with her favorite being Eevee.Nyla Rose recently had an intense battle with Riho for the AEW Women's Championship on the premiere episode of Dynamite, the promotion's new weekly wrestling program on TNT. While she didn't win the title, it was one of the more entertaining matches of the evening. You can see Rose, Jungle Boy, and all of All Elite Wrestling's stars on Wednesday Night Dynamite which airs Wednesdays at 8 PM on TNT.Info from Gamespot.com

The first Iron Banner of Destiny 2's Shadowkeep era--and of Season 8, Season of the Undying--is underway. The basics are still the same: This is a Crucible mode where, unlike usual, level advantages are enabled, meaning you'll want to come with your highest Power level gear. But the process for obtaining Iron Banner weapons and the new armor is different than it used to be, as you'll first need to make your way through a seasonal pursuit known as Scour the Rust. Here's what it involves. You initially pick up the Scour the Rust quest from Lord Saladin at the Tower, who should also have a set of four bounties (offering Pinnacle rewards, which will let you level from 950 to 960). But until you complete Scour the Rust, you won't be able to turn in Iron Banner tokens to purchase rewards packages from Saladin. As a result, any rewards you get from Iron Banner until the quest is finished will come from completing bounties and matches. Scour the Rust needs to be completed on each of your characters, but it will reward you with the new Iron Will armor for your class. The current instance of Iron Banner will end at 10 AM PT on October 22, but you have the full season to complete this quest. Completing all of these will unlock the next portion of the six-part quest. You can see everything this entails below, courtesy of datamined info from Light.gg, but be aware that one of the final steps is bugged--as described below and on Bungie's Twitter account, the step you must complete is quite different from what you're told to do in-game.We’re investigating an issue where the Iron Banner “Scour the Rust” quest step, “Conviction,” says to land 10 Super final blows to earn progress, but also shows a Grenade Launcher icon. This step is actually progressed by earning 10 final blows with Submachine Guns. — Bungie Help (@BungieHelp) October 15, 2019SpectacleOpponents defeated (30)Zones captures (10)Super final blows (3)Reward: UnknownIntentMatches completed (6)Zones captured (20)Pulse rifle final blows (25)Reward: UnknownTimingFusion rifle final blows (20)Zones captured (30)Opponents defeated (100)Reward: UnknownExecutionSubmachine gun final blows (15)Super final blows (15)Zones captured (40)Reward: UnknownConvictionZones captured (50)Matches completed (15)Super final blows (10) Note that this step is bugged. Publisher Private Division has announced that developer Obsidian Entertainment's upcoming game, The Outer Worlds, will only be enhanced on Xbox One X. It's a surprising move given that most games available on Xbox One X and PS4 Pro are enhanced on both consoles. In a statement to Windows Central, a Private Division spokesperson said that The Outer Worlds would only support 4K "on Xbox One, no enhancements for PS4 Pro." This means that you will only be able to play The Outer Worlds in 4K on Xbox One X and PC, with the PS4 Pro capping at 1080p.Though neither Private Division nor Obsidian Entertainment added why PS4 Pro wouldn't support The Outer Worlds in 4K when Xbox One X will, it is worth noting that Microsoft acquired Obsidian back in 2018. That's not to say that Microsoft's relationship with Obsidian is the sole reason that this is happening--again, there's been no announced official reasoning--but it's good context to have when viewing this situation. On PC, The Outer Worlds is a timed exclusive on the Epic Games Store. If you pre-order the game, you can nab it at a discount. For those looking to play the upcoming space RPG on Xbox One, The Outer Worlds will be available via Game Pass on launch day.The Outer Worlds has been marketed as the spiritual successor to the Fallout series--the game is being made by the studio helmed by the series' creators. However, rather than being set on the post-apocalyptic nuclear wasteland of Earth, The Outer Worlds is a futuristic science fiction story that takes place on several planets throughout the far reaches of space. Like many RPGs before it, The Outer Worlds emphasizes player choice--giving you the option of choosing your own destiny. Whether you become the universe's savior or conqueror is up to you.The Outer Worlds will launch for Xbox One, PS4, and PC on October 25. A Switch version of the game is scheduled to release at a later date.Info from Gamespot.com

Epic's free-to-play battle royale game Fortnite is very popular, but not everyone knows what it is. Presumably in response to all the hype around Fortnite over its blackout and subsequent re-launch, singer Lady Gaga asked her 80 million followers, "What's fortnight?"The responses from big brands and personalities came in swift and were hilarious. The official Twitter Gaming account said, "It's the ARTPOP of video games," referencing Lady Gaga's album. Popular streamer Ninja helped out by replying, "Call me on the Telephone. I'll give you a Million Reasons to play. You and I."The New on Netflix Twitter account replied with a jab at people from Florida. "Florida with healthbars," it said. AMC's zombie TV show The Walking Dead recently returned for its 10th season, and it seems the show is losing steam in some categories but rising in others. According to Deadline, the episode, "We Are the End of the World," drew 3.47 million viewers on traditional linear TV.That is the lowest number of viewers for any episode in the show over its 10-year history. It's down 7 percent from the Season 10 premiere a week previously. There are a number of contributing factors to the big declines in viewership. First, every episode of The Walking Dead is now available two days early on AMC's digital streaming service AMC Premiere. Additionally, the initial numbers do not tell the whole story of an individual episode's success and viewership. For the Season 10 premiere, the "Live + 3 ratings" were actually up 50 percent in the 18-49 demographic and 45 percent overall. Live + 3 ratings are the total number of people who watch live and over the next three days with DVR plays. The Live + 3 ratings for Season 10, Episode 2 have not been released yet. However you look at the numbers, however, The Walking Dead is trending downwards in total viewership compared to the earlier seasons. Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman ended the comic book series earlier this year, and that might have impacted viewership, too. Still, with the numbers it still gets, The Walking Dead is among the most popular shows on linear TV.AMC recently renewed The Walking Dead for Season 11. The latest event tied to Borderlands 3's month-long 10-year anniversary celebration has begun. Called Eridium Week, the event is aimed at increasing your amount of Eridium as well as the items you can use it for. The event is live across all platforms, so you can jump into it whether you're playing Borderlands 3 on Xbox One, PS4, or PC.During Eridium Week, there will be adjustments to Eridium drops for all enemies. Additionally, the items you can buy with Eridium will also lower in value, allowing you to buy more than you usually can. All of the changes are listed below.Borderlands 3 Eridium Week In-Game ChangesAll enemies drop Eridium, not just badasses, anointed, and bossesEridium drops are increased more so than they already are in Mayhem modeMoxxi's Eridium slot machine will cost less to playCrazy Earl's assortment of Vault Hunter cosmetic skins and special guns will cost less EridiumEridium has been an important in-game resource in the Borderlands series for a while now, but its role has fundamentally changed in Borderlands 3. In previous games, you use Eridium to purchase SDU upgrades, which allow you to increase your carrying capacity for your backpack, storage, and weapon ammo. In Borderlands 3, SDU upgrades became tied to cash, transitioning Eridium into an in-game currency for cosmetics and powerful weapons. In GameSpot's Borderlands 3 review, I wrote, "If you've never been a fan of the franchise, it's unlikely Borderlands 3 does enough things differently to change your mind, as the game best excels at continuing what the series has always done: deliver a humorous tall tale of misfits looting and shooting their way to heroism."Info from Gamespot.com

"Refreshed models, animations, game systems and more--but keeping true to the core League of Legends gameplay you already know," the developer said. "We didn't want to just port League on PC 1:1--we want to make sure Wild Rift feels like it was designed for new platforms, and use that opportunity to make a bunch of improvements to the game. While you won’t get your unlocks from League PC, you’ll get some cool rewards for the time you’ve spent in the PC version. More to come on that in 2020!"Developing...Info from Gamespot.com
