Blizzard began its opening ceremony for BlizzCon 2019 with an additional statement in regards to the recent controversy the studio has been a part of since it banned professional Hearthstone player Blitzchung for expressing support for the Hong Kong protests. Afterward, GameSpot caught up with Blizzard president J. Allen Brack to talk about the opening speech."It's probably not a secret that it's been a hard month for Blizzard," Brack said. "It's been hard for the community. It's been a hard month for the employees. And I think there's just been a lot of confusion and a lot of misinformation and a lot of challenges that everyone has had as a result. Frankly, there was never really a conversation where we weren't going to do that because to not at least have a really straightforward conversation with our community about that would have appeared extremely tone-deaf in my mind. So it's the right thing to do. We felt very strongly that we had to do it, otherwise it just would be looming, kind of hanging over us for the rest of the show."He continued, "I haven't actually read any of the feedback of what was said this morning yet. Very early on--one of the very first conversations when we made our statement and walked back the penalty and restored [Blitzchung] winnings--we actually had a personal conversation with Blitzchung and we apologized to him for how the situation had gone and … [how] no one was happy with how we ended up here. And so [today's statement] was less [about] that specific [incident] and more about the overall of what everyone [has thought] and what everyone has read and what everyone has heard and sort of have a reset--like what are the values that we have that somehow have been lost; that narrative [has] been lost in the last month."All things considered, the opening speech this morning was a fairly weak one, as Brack made no mention of the specifics surrounding the controversy and also didn't follow-up with any announcements of how Blizzard plans on changing its position or amending its actions to address how the company can do better going forward.Blizzard followed Brack's opening speech with several announcements. The most significant of which were the reveal of Diablo IV, Overwatch 2, and World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. Our coverage of the event is in the pinbox below. Blizzard has announced Diablo Immortal will include Ultimate Abilities. Immortal is a mobile spin-off of the mainline Diablo series--which is getting a fourth entry--and part of Blizzard's initiative to produce mobile games for all its series."All classes gain charge for their chosen Ultimate by using basic attacks," Blizzard wrote in a blog post. "Once this charge has been built up, players can choose to augment their basic attack for a short time in a face-meltingly powerful display of strength, guile, or raw magical potential."The post also reveals how Immortal's legendary skill-altering items will work. You can, for example, give your Scorch fireball an icy makeover, change how Exploding Palm both targets enemies and does damage, and cause grenades to be thrown out while using Strafe instead of traditional arrows.Taking place between the events of Diablo II and Diablo III, Immortal is a multiplayer-focused variation of the franchise's MMO ARPG formula. Blizzard has said you can still play through Immortal solo, but the game's dungeons are designed to be tackled as a group. In-game, you can connect with other players to create a four-person party, and create your character from one of six different classes: Barbarian, Crusader, Demon Hunter, Monk, Necromancer, and Wizard. In the blog post, Blizzard writes that Immortal has no planned release date "at this time" and wouldn't provide a straight yes or no answer in regards to whether or not Immortal would include microtransactions. Diablo Immortal will release for both Android and iOS devices. As other retailers begin offering sneak peeks at their upcoming Black Friday deals, the PlayStation Store is kicking off a nice sale of its own. The digital store just launched a PS Plus Double Discounts sale in which PlayStation Plus members receive greater deals on everything that's on sale. The sale is live now until November 22 at 8 PM PT / 11 PM ET.There aren't a lot of new games in the PS Plus Double Discounts sale, but we still get a few good deals on some great recent releases. Control is $42 for PS Plus subscribers ($51 for non-subscribers) and Ni No Kuni Remastered is down to $30 ($40 for non-subscribers).While most of these added discounts aren't too much cheaper than the regular sale price, some of these PS Plus deals are pretty impressive. For example, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is $17.10 for non-subscribers and $4.50 for subscribers. Similarly, Rise of the Tomb Raider's $34.20 discount price goes down to $9 for those with a subscription. One of my personal favourite games also has a steep discount for PS Plus players--Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition is $4.50 for PS Plus members, down from the regular sale price of $17.10.The sale isn't only for the PS4, however, as quite a few games on both PS3 and Vita are also discounted. Persona 5 and much more are discounted for the PS3, while the Vita sees sales for games like Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight. If you're looking to sign up for PS Plus or renew your membership, there's currently a great deal on a 12-month membership at Newegg. By using promo code EMCUUTU22 at checkout, you can save $15 on the year-long membership, knocking your price down to $45. This deal is only available for the next few days. America is broken, and it's up to you to put it back together again. It's a tall order. A lot of people believe in it, but you're not sure you do. It'll take a lot of lonely, dangerous walks and exceptionally heavy lifting, and it's not really clear what America means in the first place. For some reason, you set out anyway, trudging through wetlands and rocky hills on foot, not fully knowing or understanding where you're going. Other than the monsters you can't quite see, there's not really anyone else around most of the time--just you and your thoughts, one foot in front of the other. On one level, Death Stranding is about America. But your actual goal in setting out across the country is to help people, bring them together, and forge connections, not for the vague concept of America but for the sake of helping the people within it. Death Stranding is unrelenting in its earnestness and optimism--certainly not without its critiques of America, nor without its challenges and setbacks, but inherently hopeful nonetheless. It is a dense, complex, slow game with a plot that really goes places, but at its core, it never stops being about the sheer power and purpose we can find in human connection, and that is its most remarkable achievement.Hands Across AmericaRebuilding the country is as simple as getting every far-flung city, outpost, and individual onto one network, the bones of which were laid down by a pseudo-government organization called Bridges. As Sam Porter Bridges (played by Norman Reedus), all you have to do to win people over is bring them packages; most people never go outside due to mysterious monsters called BTs, but unlike most people, Sam can sense them enough to sneak past them and get important cargo to its destination.Deliveries can be arduous. You're evaluated on your deliveries across a few categories, but the condition of the cargo can make or break a run, and there are a lot of factors working against you. The landscape can be extremely punishing, from expanses of exhaustingly rocky hills to rivers that are too deep and wide to cross unaided. On top of BTs, you also have to contend with Timefall, a kind of rain that rapidly accelerates aging and deterioration for most of the things it touches. Extended exposure to Timefall can damage or completely ruin your cargo, as can slipping and falling, getting hit by an enemy, or, in some cases, just being a little too rough with it. Even the smallest rocks can trip you up, too. In order to keep your footing, you need to pay close attention to where you're stepping, keeping your balance with the triggers while on rough terrain or when carrying a lot of stuff.Once you reach your destination, though, you're showered with praise. The recipient will likely thank you to your face (albeit as a hologram), and then they'll give you a series of social media-style likes. You're inundated with a multi-page results screen itemizing all the likes you received for the delivery and in which categories, plus an overall rating for the delivery itself, no matter how small--it's positive reinforcement turned up to 11. These likes then funnel into each of the delivery categories like experience points, and as you level up, you can carry more weight or better maintain your balance, among other benefits. Deliveries also feed into a connection rating with each city, outpost, or person, and as that increases, you acquire better gear and sometimes gifts to reward your efforts further. In short, you give a lot and get a lot in return. There is a relatively small number of mandatory deliveries to advance the story, but there's a seemingly unlimited number of optional deliveries, and I often found myself picking up orders destined for any place that was on my way. It's a cycle that's easy to get swept up in; no matter how difficult a delivery or how far the distance, you will at least be met with gratitude, likely feel fulfilled from having completed a tough delivery, and often given a tool to make future deliveries a bit easier. Most importantly, though, increasing your bonds with people is how you get them on the network, and the network is what elevates this core loop beyond the simple satisfaction of completing tasks and getting rewards. The chiral network is a kind of souped-up internet that allows you to 3D print objects, which is incredibly useful and a strong incentive in itself. When at a terminal connected to the chiral network, you can print ladders and ropes for traversal, new boots as yours wear out, repair spray for damaged containers, and basically anything else you need to safely deliver cargo so long as you have a blueprint for it. You can also print a portable printer that builds structures for you out in open areas covered by the network--things like bridges, watchtowers, and generators, the latter of which are critical as you start to use battery-powered exoskeletons and vehicles. The chiral network also grants you access to the online component of the game, which is absolutely essential. You never see other players in the flesh, but their impact is all around you; once an area is on the network, you can see structures and objects left behind by other players in the course of their own journeys, plus helpful signs they've put down just for those who come after them. You can pick up someone else's lost cargo and deliver it for them, too, knowing that someone else may find yours at some point and do you the same kindness. In Death Stranding's best moments, the relief and gratitude you can feel toward someone you don't even know is an unrivaled multiplayer experience. At one point in my playthrough, I was being chased by MULEs, human enemies who love to steal cargo. I was on a bike, tasked with a time-sensitive delivery, almost out of battery and totally unequipped to deal with external threats. In my panic, I drove my bike into a ravine. As I slowly made my way up and out of it, I watched as my bike's battery dipped into the red, and I dreaded getting stuck with all my cargo and no vehicle, still quite a ways away from my destination. I rounded a corner and found myself in the charging area of a generator placed by another player, as if they'd known I'd need it in that exact spot at that exact moment. They probably just put it there because they needed a quick charge, but to me, it was a lifeline. You can give and receive likes for these player-to-player structures, and just like with standard deliveries, it's a strong incentive to do something helpful for someone else. In the earlier sections of the game, I was using other people's structures far more than I was leaving behind help for others. But I wanted to pay it forward and know that my help was appreciated, so I started going out of my way to build structures I myself didn't really need; the map shows the online structures in your instance, making it easier to spot areas you could fill in for others. At first, the likes system seems like a pretty obvious commentary on social media and our dependence on external validation. But it's not so much a critique as it is a positive spin on a very human need for acceptance, and the system does a remarkable job of urging you to do your best for those around you, NPCs and real people alike. Feeling truly appreciated can be a rare occurrence in life, and it's powerful in its simplicity here. The Super BB MethodThe first few hours of the game are the slowest, and a large part of that is because you don't have access to the online component right away. It's an incredibly lonely stretch of time during which you mostly just walk; the work you do early on is especially laborious in the absence of advanced gear, and it serves to give you an appreciation for other players and better gear as you move forward.Even as the gameplay opens up, you continue to get a lot of story exposition with almost no explanation. It can all seem kind of goofy at first, and you can get lost in the metaphors; every city you need to add to the chiral network has "knot" in its name, for example, and they are all referred to as "knots" on a strand that connects the country. There's bizarre and unwarranted product placement in the form of Monster Energy drinks and the show Ride with Norman Reedus. Guillermo del Toro's likeness is used for a kind of dorky character called Deadman, and there's a woman named Fragile in a game about delivering packages. But the story really does go deeper than that. In keeping with the theme of human connection, each of the core characters you meet and work with has their own story to tell. They all have a unique perspective on death that lends them an equally unique perspective on life, and unravelling their characters, down to the true origins of their often literal names, contributes to the overall tapestry of Death Stranding's take on the human experience. As they open up to Sam, Sam opens up to them in turn, developing into a distinct character in his own right out of the reserved, emotionless man he appears to be at the start. I grew to love Sam, Fragile, and Heartman especially, and even the characters I didn't like as much add to the game's overall message about hope and love in the face of adversity.By far my favorite character--and the most important one--is BB. BBs are infants in pods that can detect the presence of BTs, and they're issued to porters like Sam to help them navigate dangerous territory. You're told to treat BBs like equipment, not real babies, but it's impossible to think of your BB that way. It's full of personality, giggling when happy and crying when stressed out; it even gives you likes from time to time. There aren't many children left in Death Stranding's isolated, fearful world, but BB is your reminder that the future is counting on you, regardless of how you feel about America itself. The love that grows between Sam and BB is nothing short of heartwarming.Connecting with this story, just as with connecting with NPCs and other players, can take work. It's not a story that immediately clicks on a surface level, and the dramatic mystery and off-the-wall science don't make too much sense at first blush. But it's an emotional story first and foremost, and making sense of things--while entirely possible, particularly if you read the letters and interviews that detail small bits of lore as you go--is not as important as reflecting on how it makes you feel. You have plenty of opportunities to do that, too. In the quiet moments of travel, usually as you near your destination, music might start to play. The soundtrack, which is largely composed of one band--Low Roar--is phenomenal, the kind of contemplative folk-ish music that suits a trip alone through a meadow or down a mountain. Because the act of walking is so involved, it's not a time to detach completely and zone out; it's a time to feel your feelings or at least consider what's next in your travels.Fight, But Not To The DeathYou can just as soon be ripped out of that headspace, though, by a shift to the haunting music that signals BT territory. The otherworldly growls of BTs as they close in on you can be terrifying, and early on, your best bet is to freeze in your tracks and hold your breath for as long as you can so you can quietly sneak by them. But there are times when you have to fight a BT in its true form, and for that, you have specialized weapons to take them down. These BTs aren't the ethereal humanoid shapes that float above the ground but huge eldritch horrors that screech under clouds of blood. The combat is mechanically simple--you mostly have to move around a bit and hit them before they hit you--but the sequences are visually and aurally arresting. You don't get a gun that works on live enemies until 25 or so hours in, but even then, it's non-lethal. You are actively guided away from killing in Death Stranding, because when people die, their bodies basically go nuclear and level cities, leaving nothing but craters and BTs in their wake. On top of that, the main human enemies are MULEs, former porters just like Sam that have been corrupted by an automated world--they've essentially become addicted to snatching cargo in their desperation to have a job and a purpose as more and more people become replaced by machines. They're not evil, and killing them seems like, well, overkill; it's easy enough to knock them out with the nonlethal methods you continue to unlock as the game progresses. I didn't kill a single one in my playthrough, though punching them is satisfying. While BTs and MULEs are a concern when delivering cargo, there's also Mads Mikkelsen's character, a man who's introduced through memories Sam sees when he connects to BB's pod. He gets his own dedicated segments that punctuate hours of simple deliveries, and these highly contained, much shorter sections are striking in their art direction and juxtaposition to the rest of the game. It's not immediately clear what he is, whether it's an enemy, potential friend, or something else entirely, but he's captivating in his ambiguity. The most cartoonish enemy is Troy Baker's Higgs, a terrorist whose depravity seems to know no bounds. Of all the characters, Higgs is the weakest, with far less nuance to him than anyone else in the cast. He's really just there as a Big Bad to motivate you in a more traditional video game sense than delivering packages and helping people, but he and his band of faceless terrorists are more a means to an end than full-fledged villains. He's the catalyst for some of the major BT fights, and in the end, perhaps an extreme reminder that it's possible to stay hopeful even when things are darkest.Death Stranding argues in both its story and its gameplay that adversity itself is what makes things worth doing and life worth living.Death Stranding is a hard game to absorb. There are many intertwining threads to its plot, and silly names, corny moments, and heavy exposition belie an otherwise very simple message. That comes through much more clearly in the game's more mundane moments, when you find a desperately-needed ladder left behind by another player or receive a letter from an NPC thanking you for your efforts. It's positive without ignoring pain; in fact, it argues in both its story and its gameplay that adversity itself is what makes things worth doing and life worth living. It's a game that requires patience, compassion, and love, and it's also one we really need right now.Info from Gamespot.com

[UPDATE] Nintendo said in a tweet that a beta test for real-time multiplayer will begin in December, but only for Gold Pass subscribers.A real-time multiplayer beta test is planned for December and will be available to #MarioKartTour Gold Pass subscribers.Stay tuned here for more details coming soon. pic.twitter.com/xNIdJE44cI — Mario Kart Tour (@mariokarttourEN) November 1, 2019The original story is below.Mario Kart Tour is more than a month old now, but the promised multiplayer update hasn't come yet. Nintendo promises that it's still coming but won't commit to exactly when we can expect it.Wall Street Journal reporter Takashi Mochizuku shared the detail from a Nintendo earnings call on Twitter. The company reiterated that it plans to introduce online multiplayer, but can't give further comment on details. The game launched with single-player only, but it can be confusing since parts of it appear similar to online play--from bots with player-like usernames to performing an online check before starting a race. For the time being, you can add friends and even gain some rewards for doing so, but the only way to compete with them is indirectly. During Ranked Cup events, you can compare your score to your friends for bragging rights. The menu has said a Multiplayer mode is "Inbound!" since launch.Mario Kart Tour is a very different take on the classic game tailored for mobile devices, making it more of a live game with seasonal events and characters to earn, along with microtransactions and even a Battle Pass-like subscription for extra rewards. On the whole we found that it has some good ideas that Nintendo could borrow for future console Mario Karts.Info from Gamespot.com

There were two big announcements for Game of Thrones fans this week. The news that HBO was not moving forward with the Naomi Watts-starring prequel show was quickly followed by the announcement of a full series order for another spin-off, titled House of the Dragon. Now George RR Martin, who wrote the novels that the franchise is based on, has commented on the situation.Martin wrote on his blog about the HBO's decision not to take the first prequel to series, and had much praise for showrunner Jame Goldman. "It goes without saying that I was saddened to hear the show would not be going to series," he said. "Jane Goldman is a terrific screenwriter, and I enjoyed brainstorming with her. I do not know why HBO decided not to go to series on this one, but I do not think it had to do with House of the Dragon. If television has room enough for multiple CSIs and Chicago shows… well, Westeros and Essos are a lot bigger, with thousands of years of history and enough tales and legends and characters for a dozen shows."Heartbreaking as it is to work for years on a pilot, to pour your blood and sweat and tears into it, and have it come to nought, it's not at all uncommon. I've been there myself, more than once. I know Jane and her team are feeling the disappointment just now, and they have all my sympathy."Nevertheless, Martin was clearly excited about House of the Dragon, which is based on his 2018 book Fire & Blood. He revealed that he first pitched the idea for the show to HBO back in 2016 and stated that as as well as reading Fire & Blood, fans should check out Dangerous Women and Rogues, two multi-author anthologies he edited with Gardner Dozois.Martin also had much praise for House of the Dragon's showrunners Ryan Condal and Miguel Sapochnik and said that while the filming locations for the show had not yet been decided, he expected that it would return to some of the places used throughout the eight years of Game of Thrones. As for whether he would be working on the show itself, Martin stated that while he would "love to write an episode," he wouldn't get involved until he finished his long-promised next novel, Winds of Winter.Game of Thrones wrapped up its eight-season run back in May. Since then, showrunners David Benioff and D. B. Weiss have left HBO for a production deal at Netflix. They then also stepped down from the proposed trilogy of Star Wars movies they were attached to write and direct.Info from Gamespot.com

Fortnite's Week 4 batch of Chapter 2 challenges are now live on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices. This week's challenges include one similar to a Season 10 gas station mission Spray and Pray, but instead of vandalizing gas pumps, you'll be exploding them. The challenge has you "deal any damage to opponents by shooting exploding gas pumps." If you're not sure exactly where to look, we've put together a handy guide to help.Where Are The Gas Station Locations? There were eight gas stations scattered throughout the island in the previous challenge, but now the entire island has been swallowed into a black hole and made an entirely new play area. So where can you find the gas stations now?The new map has only six gas pumps, and most of them are located in the northern side of the map. One is smack in the middle of Pleasant Park and another is in Salty Springs, but the others are scattered about in-between key points-of-interest. One gas pump is to the west of Holly Hedges, and there are three pumps to the northwest, south, and east of Frenzy Farm, respectively. How To Complete The ChallengeFind a gas pump and an enemy, and then blow up the pump to deal explosive damage. Any amount of damage will do, so even if they just catch the tiniest splash damage, you'll get credit for the challenge. However, in our experience it's pretty tough to just organically blow up a gas pump with an enemy nearby. Your best bet is to play in Duos or Squads and then down an enemy, pick them up and toss them near the gas pump. Then you can blow them up to complete the challenge. Fortunately, unlike some challenges, you only have to do this once. After you've exploded a gas pump on some poor soul, you'll earn 10 Battle Stars for completing the challenge. Be sure to also check out our full Fortnite Chapter 2 Challenge Guide for more details on grabbing earning progress toward your Battle Pass. Recently, The Witcher Twitter account announced a teaser for a new trailer, and while the pre-hype-hype for the upcoming Netflix series seemed a bit much, the new trailer for the December original show lives up to all of it.On Thursday morning, the new trailer--which you can see below--arrived globally, and it finally announced the release date for Netflix original, based on the best-selling novels: December 20. And the two-minute long trailer also features Geralt talking to someone while an orgy takes place in the background, so you may not want to watch this at work. But rest assured, the iconic tub scene is included. There has been a good amount of secrecy surrounding the Witcher TV show, but the trailer does give some tidbits of info away. A girl is searching for Geralt, as she needs his help. Additionally, there is a war happening that will surely complicate things. As you'd expect from The Witcher, there is magic, monsters, and Geralt taking a bath.Netflix's The Witcher stars Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer, and Freya Allan as Ciri. We're still about two months away from the series landing on Netflix so why not play Witcher 3 again, on Switch? In his review of the Nintendo port, Jacob Dekker gave The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt an 9/10 (while the PC, Xbox One, and PS4 versions received a 10/10), and in the review, Dekker said, "Although the Nintendo Switch might not be the best platform to play The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, it's still a fantastic experience that shouldn't be missed. If you are looking to replay The Witcher 3 and bask in its detail and beauty, the Switch port may not quite scratch that itch. However, what makes this game excellent isn't its graphics, but the powerful stories it tells, and those are as vivid as ever on Switch."The Witcher comes to Netflix on December 20.Info from Gamespot.com

The Epic Games Store has continued its weekly practice of giving out free games this month, and the list has included quite a few horror games to keep up with the spooky vibes of October, including Observer, Alan Wake's American Nightmare, and Layers of Fear: Masterpiece Edition. So it's no surprise this week's free games are continuing the pattern. As of October 31, you can claim underwater sci-fi horror game Soma and adorable Halloween adventure Costume Quest for free. All you need is a free Epic Games Store account to add them to, and they'll be yours to keep forever.Soma is an acclaimed survival horror game from the creators of Amnesia: The Dark Descent, and it's set on a mysterious underwater research facility where machines have begun to take on human characteristics. You'll play as Simon Jarrett, who wakes up at the facility after a car accident in 2015 and discovers he's now in the year 2104. As Simon begins to explore the facility, he must put together clues, solve puzzles, and avoid monsters as he discovers more about the facility and his own fate. The game earned an impressive 9/10 in GameSpot's Soma review, where Richard Wakeling praised its engaging and thought-provoking story, excellent writing, chilling sound design, and overall tension-building. "While Soma may have been dubbed a spiritual successor to the terrifying Amnesia: The Dark Descent, it would be reductive to simply call it a 'science-fiction Amnesia'. For all its foreboding dread and ghastly creatures that go bump in the night, Soma is driven more by an enigmatic narrative than any chilling moments of bloodcurdling terror," he wrote.Costume Quest, on the other hand, isn't spooky at all, but this simple RPG has a charming nostalgia to it that still makes it worth your time. This adorable adventure takes place on Halloween and follows two twins, Reynold and Wren, as they prepare to go trick-or-treating in their new neighborhood. When one of the twins gets kidnapped by a monster, the remaining sibling must brave the night alone as they gather candy (the in-game currency), pick up costume parts, complete side quests for hints to the missing twin's location, and fight monsters in turn-based battles. In GameSpot's Costume Quest review, the game earned a 7/10 for its great visual design, clever and humorous writing, and strategic battles, although critic Giancarlo Varanini noted the game's slow start and cluttered display information. "Without question, the art and overall premise serve as Costume Quest's biggest hook, and these things are ultimately what drive the game and turn it into something much more than a superficial RPG," he wrote. "Still, whether or not you can overlook and overcome its initial shortcomings is tied directly to how much you buy into its premise on a nostalgic and comedic level. That said, when Costume Quest picks up steam and truly reveals all it has to offer from a gameplay perspective, it relies less on that premise and simply delivers an all-around satisfying gaming experience."Soma and Costume Quest are free to claim now through November 7, when they'll be replaced by the next round of free games, Nuclear Throne and Ruiner.See Soma and Costume Quest at EpicInfo from Gamespot.com

The Fortnitemares Halloween event is now live in Fortnite Chapter 2, but that hasn't stopped the fourth week of Battle Pass challenges from appearing. The latest mission set is called Dockyard Deal and introduces a nautical theme to the battle royale shooter, revolving around boats, the new Dirty Docks location, and the increased amount of water on Chapter 2's map. One of the challenges tasks you with visiting three landmarks: Boat Launch, Coral Cove, and Flopper Pond. Landmarks aren't displayed on the in-game map, but we're here to help if you're not sure where to go.Where Are Boat Launch, Coral Cove, And Flopper Pond?Like last week, the three landmarks you need to visit are spread out across the map, with one in the north, one in the south, and one near the centre of the map.Boat Launch is found southeast of Misty Meadows, near the snowy mountaintop with the cabin and zipline. You can find it in the E8 square on Fortnite's map grid.Head north from here to find Flopper Pond just north of Weeping Woods and south of Sweaty Sands. It's sandwiched between Holly Hedges and Salty Springs, at a pond surrounded by trees and a house with a dock. It's located at C4 on the map grid. The final landmark is Coral Cove, which is located in the northwest part of the island, just past Sweaty Sands. You'll find it at the end of the beach, signified by the huge coral laying around the area. It's at B2 on the map.How To Complete The ChallengeThis one's simple enough; you don't even need to do anything at each landmark, just visit them one by one and you'll complete the challenge. You can try to visit all three in a single match or just land at each location in separate matches. Completing this challenge will now net you a whopping 52,000 season XP and unlock another Dockyard Deal challenge.Chapter 2, Season 1 runs until December 12, according to the official Fortnite website. Thanks to the Switch Lite's success, Nintendo is looking into bringing more of its 3DS franchises to the console-handheld hybrid in the future.Wall Street Journal tech reporter Takashi Mochizuki tweeted that Nintendo Japan's current president, Shuntaro Furukawa, said the "company would make more 3DS franchises available on Switch." Such a move is already happening with Brain Age, which is getting a new entry this December in Japan. A Western release for the new Brain Age game has yet to be announced. The news rides on the back of Nintendo Switch Lite's growing popularity, as the company mentioned in its earnings report that the console sold approximately two million units worldwide in just 11 days since its September 20 launch. The result is encouraging for Pokemon games coming next month. Nintendo chief Furukawa said company would make more 3DS franchises available on Switch to convey appeal of Lite. — Takashi Mochizuki (@mochi_wsj) October 31, 2019Following Luigi's Mansion 3's launch, the next big games headed to the Nintendo Switch are Pokemon Sword / Shield, which comes out on November 15. There are a few Switch games sprinkled between Sword and Shield's launch, such as Just Dance 2020 (November 5), Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games: Tokyo 2020 (November 5), Disney Tsum Tsum Festival (November 8), New Super Lucky's Tale (November 8), and Romancing SaGa 3 (November 11).The Switch Lite has received glowing praise following its launch. In our own review, editor Peter Brown thought highly of the iterative console, saying, "If anything, I hope the Switch Lite is an indication of where Nintendo might go with its theoretical upgraded Switch model in the future. I don't remember the last time I detached my Joy-Cons, and I constantly gripe over the fake d-pad whenever I have to use it. And after playing with the Switch Lite for an extended period of time, I now look at my standard Switch as being more fragile than ever. The Switch Lite has almost everything I'm looking for in a Switch--I just wished it lived up to its name."Info from Gamespot.com

The latest trailer for Netflix's The Witcher has arrived, and there is one moment in particular that many people will be talking about: Geralt in a bathtub. But what's the big deal about that?Very early on in 2015's The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt, there is a cutscene that features Geralt of Rivia, laying in a bathrub, with his legs spread. It had become a meme, a cute toy, and even a statue from Dark Horse, believe it or not. Because this moment was so iconic, it was recreated for December's The Witcher series on Netflix.Below, you can see the comparison between the two moments, on Netflix's The Witcher, Geralt is played by Henry Cavill, who you may remember as Superman from the various recent DC Universe movies--the actor that had to have his mustache digitally removed for the Justice League movie.Sure, Geralt isn't in full-on relax mode, with his feet hanging off of the tub, but the moment is still adapted to the small screen. Is there any moment from Witcher 3 more worth to be depicted in this show? I can't think of one. Obviously, this has already gone over extremely well with fans of The Wild Hunt on Twitter. They even got bathtub Geralt? pic.twitter.com/h2MMXs3I4y — The Ferragamo Falcon (@Padt) October 31, 2019Netflix thanks for spending however much money you spent on this show just to bring us the Henry Cavill Witcher bathtub shot, all we needed, everyone came go home nowhttps://t.co/TSAlsbC2zx pic.twitter.com/bslWZUqa0m — Jackson McHenry (@McHenryJD) October 31, 2019How long until Funko makes a Geralt in a bathtub Pop figure now? I'm guessing in about 15 minutes from now. The Witcher arrives on Netflix on December 20, the same day as Star Wars Episode 9: The Rise of Skywalker. Christmas is coming five days early to all of us.Info from Gamespot.com

Fortnite's Week 4 challenges have arrived, and as usual, if you complete eight of them, you'll unlock a special loading screen that points you toward a letter hidden somewhere around the island. This time, you'll need to search for the letter T hidden in the Dockyard Deal loading screen. If you're having trouble tracking it down, we've put together the guide below showing you exactly where to go.Where Is The Hidden T Location? As the challenge states, the clue that will lead you to the letter T is hidden in the Dockyard Deal loading screen, which depicts a group of characters making some kind of shady, blackmarket deal under the cover of darkness. Look closely at the red crane in the background and you'll spot the T at the top of the scaffolding--that's where the letter will appear in the game. The scene depicted in the loading screen is, fittingly, set in Dirty Docks. If you're not yet familiar with Fortnite's new map, Dirty Docks is located on the easternmost corner of the island. We've marked its exact location on the map below. How To Complete The ChallengeOnce you know where the letter will appear, make your way over to Dirty Docks, find the cranes from the loading screen, and ascended the scaffolding; the T will appear once you approach. Interact with it when prompted and you'll complete the challenge and take another step closer to unlocking this season's special skin.As usual, the letter won't appear until you've unlocked its corresponding challenge, so you'll need to work through the other Dockyard Deal missions first before you can collect it. There are a few that may throw you for a loop this week, so if you need help completing any of them, be sure to check out our full Fortnite Chapter 2 challenges roundup for our other maps and guides.
