PlayStation Plus has become a must-have add-on for anyone with a PS4. For $60 a year, you can play online multiplayer games with others, store all of your PS4 saves in the cloud, and get two free games each month, keeping them for as long as you're a PS Plus member. You also get bonus deals in Sony's digital PlayStation store, netting you some major discounts on games all throughout the year. If you're looking to save big with some of the PS4 console deals floating around, you'd be remiss not to look for a deal on PS Plus as well.Black Friday weekend and Cyber Monday will be the best times to shop for deals on PlayStation Plus. Last year, the service was discounted to $40 at numerous retailers, including GameStop, Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart. PlayStation also offered the $40 price on the PlayStation Store, so you could buy it straight from your console. While not technically a Black Friday promotion, Ebay currently has PlayStation Plus 12-month memberships for $40. It's unclear if Ebay's price will go back up before the big holiday shopping weekend. See at Ebay In terms of announced Black Friday promotions, the best deal we've seen comes straight from PlayStation's Black Friday sale. PlayStation Plus 12-month memberships will be discounted to $45 on the PlayStation Store. While not a bad price by any means, subscriptions were readily available for $40 last Black Friday. The galaxy is full of dangerous creatures in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, but the scariest are the Legendary Beasts. These four creatures, each located on a different planet, represent optional minibosses that guard useful upgrades and tidbits of story. The first of the Legendary Beasts you're likely to encounter is the Oggdo Bogdo on Bogano, a giant, angry frog that will have you for lunch if you're not careful.Fortunately, you have some options when it comes to beating the Oggdo Bogdo. First, you can ignore it until you become more powerful through the course of the game, which will make the fight significantly easier. But if you're bent on taking to Oggdo Bogdo down early, there's another handy trick to attacking it that can give you a significant advantage in the fight ahead. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order News & Guides Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Beginner's Guide - Tips To Get You Started Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Scomp Link Guide - What's A Scomp Link And How To A Get New One Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Lightsaber Guide - How To Get More Colors (Spoilers) Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Character Cameos From The Star Wars EU Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order Review Where To Find The Oggdo BogdoThe Bogano Sinkholes hides the Legendary Oggdo Bogdo, but you'll need to take a bit of a circuitous pack to get there. The Oggdo Bogdo hangs out on Bogano, and it's not far off from where you first land in the Mantis when you arrive on the planet. From the Mantis, bear to the right as you enter the trenches that work through the planet. Look for a pair of pipes that cross over a gap leading toward spinning fans. These pipes lead to the Oggdo Bogdo's lair, in a cave to the right. You'll see another pipe to your right--that's the path to the Oggdo Bogdo. Follow it and you'll find a small, dark cave, blocked by some pipes you can cut through with your lightsaber. When you work your way through the tunnel, you'll find the Oggdo Bogdo at the end.How To Get The Drop On The Oggdo BogdoYou can face the Oggdo Bogdo directly by entering its lair, but you'll take it on at full strength--which isn't exactly advisable. The creature has a ton of health and does big damage, and especially early in the game, you're likely to be overmatched. But you can knock out a huge chunk of the Oggdo Bogdo's health if you know what you're doing and spend a little time exploring Bogano.Climb up above the trenches in the Bogano Sinkholes to find some these big round holes. Drop through one and you can attack the Oggdo Bogdo with an aerial lightsaber strike, dealing a ton of damage.Once you've entered and completed the story beats that take place in the Zeffo temple, you'll head back to the Mantis by climbing up above the trenches and crossing the flat areas between them. As you go, you'll probably notice some big holes near where the Mantis is parked. Look down through these, and you'll see the Oggdo Bogdo. From up here, you can drop down on the creature and ambush it with an aerial attack. Do that and you'll dish out a big hit that'll remove between a quarter and a third of the creature's total health.Don't forget to use Force Slow to get yourself out of trouble, and to block and parry the Oggdo Bogdo's attacks when you can. You'll still have quite a fight waiting for you, though. The Oggdo Bogdo likes to leap at you with unblockable attacks, but even its standard biting strike can take you out. Remember that you can block and parry attacks from creatures with your lightsaber, and doing so can open up the Oggdo Bogdo to counter-attacks. Just be wary of its bites, since it likes to snap at you twice in an attack cycle, and swinging away too early can be the death of you. Also remember that you can use Force Slow on the creature, which can give you a chance to reposition, get in an attack, or heal yourself. The best strategy here is to take your time to learn the Oggdo Bogdo's attacks, and only attack when you've got a big opening. Don't get greedy; hit the big frog once or twice, then back off.Info from Gamespot.com

There has been considerable uncertainty in the past few weeks about the future of the Star Wars series on the big screen. No new movie beyond next month's The Rise of Skywalker has been announced, and the recent departure of David Benioff and DB Weiss from the trilogy they were working on was followed by Disney boss Bob Iger stating that the series would soon go "on hiatus." However, it has now been reported that a director has been lined up for the next film.According the The Hollywood Reporter, producer Kathleen Kennedy has chosen a director to helm the Star Wars movie that currently has a December 2022 release date. This date was initially assigned to Benioff and Weiss's first movie, and despite their exit, it has remained on Disney's schedule. However, THR also states that this won't be the Star Wars movie that Rian Johnson is working on either, so it's currently unknown what it will be.It has also been reported that "no announcement is being planned until January." This makes sense as Lucasfilm's current focus is promoting The Rise of Skywalker, which hits theaters on December 20. However, it's exciting to think we might have some positive news about the theatrical future of the Star Wars series in the New Year.As for The Rise of Skywalker, a bunch of new character posters were released this week. You can check them out here, together with these new images from the movie. In related news, the first live-action Star Wars show, The Mandalorian, hit Disney+ last week. With Black Friday and Cyber Monday hitting next week, having a good idea of your schedule will be key to grabbing the best deals while you can. The best deals tend to sell out quick, after all. Luckily, plenty of retailers have given us a heads-up on when their deals will be available, as well as their store hours during Thanksgiving and Black Friday. As time goes on, these schedules have become more and more complicated; some deals go live as soon as November 1, while others happen in the mad dash hours between Thanksgiving dinner and the official start of Black Friday. You can't just assume you'll be early by heading to stores after finishing Thanksgiving dinner to pick up a PS4, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, or whatever other deal has caught your eye.To help you form your Black Friday shopping plan and ensure you don't miss out on the best doorbuster deals, we've gathered everything you need to know about the major retailers' store hours and online start times for Black Friday below, including stores like Best Buy, Amazon, Target, GameStop, and Walmart. Many retailers have started offering deals already in early access sales. Look for the bulk of Black Friday deals to go live on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving or Thanksgiving Day; however, some deals won't go live until Black Friday itself. Quite a few stores will open Thanksgiving evening, shut their doors later that night, and then re-open on Black Friday proper. However, you'll definitely be waiting until Friday to do in-store shopping if you live in Rhode Island, Maine, or Massachusetts, where opening on Thanksgiving is illegal. Of course, you can always head online if heading to a store isn't an option. Please note that some stores haven't released the exact time their deals will be live, only the date. We've included the information available below and will continue to update this story as more retailers announce their store hours and start times. Unfortunately, Steam doesn't release information about its sales ahead of time, and that likely won't change for Black Friday 2019. That said, we have a pretty good idea when Steam's Black Friday sale will start. According to a leak a few months ago, Steam's Autumn sale will go live on November 26 and run until December 3. The board game, Divinity: Original Sin – The Board Game, has been fully-funded in just four hours.According to the Kickstarter page, Divinity: Original Sin – The Board Game takes the essence of Divinity: Original Sin 2 and condenses it into a four-player tabletop RPG composed of "a branching, narrative adventure filled with tactical combat and meaningful choices." The studio also discussed its plans for the board game and how the Kickstarter community can get involved.Divinity: Original Sin – The Board Game will include some brand-new playable characters alongside beloved Divinity: Original Sin 2 warriors like Ifan Ben-Mezd and The Red Prince. Nintendo and Black Friday are always an interesting duo. Throughout the year, Nintendo Switch games--at least those published by Nintendo--don't go on sale as often, or as steeply, as PS4 and Xbox One games, nor do they see permanent price drops as quickly. That makes any discount on Switch games notable.Black Friday usually sees huge discounts on just about every kind of consumer good, even including games released in the weeks just prior to the event, giving it huge potential for those who've patiently waited for sales on their favorite Nintendo games. Based on the Black Friday ads we've seen so far, Black Friday 2019 will have a number of great deals on Switch games, including some of the company's strong first-party offerings from this year. The same may not be true if you're looking to buy a Switch or Switch Lite, but if you already own one or plan to pick one up, you'll be able to round out your catalog for cheaper than usual.Where to find the best Nintendo Switch game dealsNintendo has announced its own official Switch deals, which will be available at a variety of stores, though things can vary from one to another. This year, retailers like Amazon, Target, Best Buy, GameStop, and Walmart will have some of the most popular Switch games for 33% off, dropping the price on games like Mario Tennis Aces, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Super Mario Odyssey from $60 to $40. The exception here is Walmart and Target, which will have those three games for $30 each. Those five major retailers will likely account for the vast majority of deals on Switch games. That said, if you prefer to buy digitally, the Nintendo Eshop usually has its own sale on games, so you'll want to check those out during Black Friday weekend too; so far, only Europe's Eshop sale has been detailed, but we're expecting North America to follow soon. At this time, Best Buy, Target, Walmart, Kohl's, Costco, and Office Depot are among the stores to have released their Black Friday ads. We'll continue updating our list of the best Switch game deals below as more retailers drop their Black Friday ads.Nintendo will also have game deals on the Eshop. So far, only UK Eshop deals have been revealed, but we will add notable games from the US sale to the list below when the North American Black Friday sale is unveiled. For more Black Friday Switch deals, check out our guide to the best Switch console and accessory deals, which includes a familiar Switch bundle and discounts on multiple Switch controllers. A new Fortnite update is out now, but what it does may not be the most notable aspect of the release. After leaving fans to wonder about the specifics of updates released so far during Chapter, Season 1, developer Epic Games has returned its old process of providing full patch notes for update 11.20, which includes bug fixes and tweaks, UI adjustments, changes to items and weapons, and more. But patch notes themselves are not the only thing being reintroduced.Epic Games has brought back Fortnite's daily challenges, giving you even more opportunities to earn experience for the stunts you pull off in the battle royale game. A couple of former developers from Arkane Studios, the team responsible for immersive-sims like Dishonored and Prey, has established a brand-new studio to focus on "great art direction, compelling worlds, [and] interesting stories." The team's first project will be revealed at this year's Game Awards ceremony.WolfEye Studios is being helmed by Raphael Colantonio and Julien Roby, Arkane's former president/co-creative director and executive producer, respectively. Though neither opened up about their forthcoming project, the two have confirmed that it will be shown during the fifth annual Game Awards, which takes place on December 12.In a GamesIndustry.Biz interview, Roby said WolfEye is an opportunity for him and Colantonio to get back to the games they love as developers and players. "We like games that respond to player actions, where the world reacts to what you are doing, and the experience is owned by the player," Roby said. "It was what we wanted to get back to rather than being constantly distracted by the complexity of doing games which are technically more involved, and little by little your focus in development moves away from the actual experience toward technicalities which in the end don't change the experience much."Colantonio intends WolfEye to be a studio that brings its focus on innovation instead of the bigger-equals-better approach to game development. "[I]n a world where making games is all about innovation, R&D, and trying things, that heaviness of graphics and production prevents flexibility, coming back on ideas, trying something else," Colantonio said. "That's not to say we don't like visuals. We're huge fans of great art direction, compelling worlds, interesting stories, but there's a distinction to be made between art direction and graphics."The less-than-twenty-person studio is currently dispersed across the world and while both Colantonio and Roby want to keep WolfEye small, the team's size doesn't dictate the game's size. "A small [studio] doesn't mean making small games. We can make big games that focus on the right areas," Colantonio said. The Game Awards will go live on December 12 at 5:30 PM PT / 7:30 PM CST / 8:30 PM ET on December 12 (and 1:30 AM BST on December 13). Show host Geoff Keighley announced the full list of nominees and the competition this year looks tough.Info from Gamespot.com

This year, Black Friday 2019 is stacked with deals on pretty much every video game released in 2019, including some of the best that have released just in the last month. That includes Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, the latest entry in the popular first-person shooter series, which sees quite a few discounts from different retailers. Below, we've rounded up the best that we've seen so far, and we'll update the list should any others pop up as more sales are revealed. So far, the best deal for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare comes from Walmart, which has the game for only $38--a great price for such a new CoD game, given that games in the series often maintain their MSRP for a long time. Walmart kicks off its online sale for Black Friday on November 27 at 7 PM PT / 10 PM ET. The deals will also be made available in stores starting at 6 PM local time on November 28. At this time, we only know that physical copies for PS4 and Xbox One are included; it's unclear if digital versions will also be available. But whichever platform you pick it up on, you'll receive three hours of double XP.Call of Duty: Modern Warfare | $38 ($60) See at Walmart (PS4) See at Walmart Modern Warfare received a score of 7/10 in our Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare review. GameSpot's Kallie Plagge was disappointed by its lackluster Spec Ops mode but still enjoyed Modern Warfare's exciting campaign and new multiplayer modes, including the 2v2 Gunfight mode."The pitfalls of Spec Ops don't detract from what Modern Warfare does well, though," she wrote. "Realism mode is an excellent addition to the slate, and although not all the new multiplayer modes are great, Gunfight and the Night Vision playlist are refreshing standouts. And while the campaign ends up playing it safe in the end, it's still a memorable one, and it lays a strong foundation for where the Modern Warfare series could go from here."Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Black Friday dealsPS4$38 -- Walmart$40 -- Best Buy$45 -- TargetXbox One$38 -- Walmart$40 -- Best Buy$45 -- Target Black Friday 2019 Deals & News Black Friday 2019 Start Times, Store Hours: GameStop, Best Buy, Target, And More Black Friday 2019: Best Nintendo Switch Deals So Far Black Friday 2019: The Best PS4 Deals So Far Black Friday 2019: The Best Xbox One Deals So Far Black Friday 2019: When Does It Start, Deals To Expect, And More Info from Gamespot.com

While it doesn't quite stick the landing, Wong wrote that the basketball gameplay is still as great as it always is."Is it even possible to have a truly woke narrative in a game so relentlessly money and fame-driven? Perhaps not." Wong wrote. "But NBA 2K20 asks you to accept this melding at face value. That's impossible, but thankfully, there's a legacy of NBA 2K quality that makes the reconciliation less important. The story and how it's told don't hold up to scrutiny. But the gameplay, honed from years of incremental development and effort, always does. NBA 2K20 is, even in its contradictions, an excellent facsimile of the NBA itself."
