We are in the thick of Cyber Monday, which means there's only a day or so of deals left. One of the hottest games this year is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and even though it only released a month ago, there have been some great Cyber Monday deals for it. The game itself has seen several great discounts from multiple retailers, the best of which currently belong to Ebay and Target. The PS4 version's Cyber Monday deal is set at $40, while the Xbox One version gets a Cyber Monday discount from Target--$42.50 after checkout.Best Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Cyber Monday 2019 dealsCall of Duty: Modern Warfare - $40 at Ebay (PS4)Call of Duty: Modern Warfare | $40-42.50 ($60)PS4 -- $40 See at Ebay Xbox One -- $42.50 See at Target Modern Warfare received a score of 7/10 in our Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare review. GameSpot's Kallie Plagge was disappointed by its lackluster Spec Ops mode but still enjoyed Modern Warfare's exciting campaign and new multiplayer modes, including the 2v2 Gunfight mode."The pitfalls of Spec Ops don't detract from what Modern Warfare does well, though," she wrote. "Realism mode is an excellent addition to the slate, and although not all the new multiplayer modes are great, Gunfight and the Night Vision playlist are refreshing standouts. And while the campaign ends up playing it safe in the end, it's still a memorable one, and it lays a strong foundation for where the Modern Warfare series could go from here." As opposed to the week-long Black Friday deals, these Cyber Monday discounts only last the day, so act now if you're interested in any of the listed anime products. There are several anime gems on sale this year, some long-time classics and an assortment of relatively new (but no less good) series and movies. If you're looking for anime that acted as the foundation for most anime fans who began watching in the late 1990s, then considering buying Akira (which costs $10 after a 33% discount) or Code Geass: Lelouch of Rebellion - The Complete Series (which has a 36% discount and now costs $30). Fans of the superb 2019 remake of Fruits Basket may want to consider purchasing the collector's edition of the original 2001 series. Black Friday has come and gone, but while the shopping holiday has passed, Xbox One Black Friday digital games sale is still live, at least for some. The sale previously gave Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers the benefit of an early access period, and while the main sale has ended, there are still a few hours to take advantage if you subscribe to Microsoft's Xbox services. If you're not a subscriber, you can still save--albeit not as much. For Gold members, there are some huge savings here on more recent games, including Resident Evil 2 at 67% off, a half-price NBA 2K20, and a much cheaper Red Dead Redemption 2. We've rounded up a selection of deals below, and we've also put together a more extensive look at the best Xbox Live game deals for Xbox One owners. While the majority of what you'll find are Xbox One games, there are also a bunch of high-quality backward-compatible games for Xbox 360 and the original Xbox that you can play on One, including earlier entries in the Splinter Cell series. Riot Games, the massive game developer behind League of Legends, will pay $10 million to settle a gender discrimination lawsuit. The news was revealed in court documents filed on Monday and first reported on by The Los Angeles Times.Every one of the approximately 1,000 female employees who worked at Riot from November 2014 until the settlement is complete will get a share of the $10 million pool. Divided equally, it would work out to $10,000 each, but that won't be how it works. The Times reports that the payouts will depend on the length of their employment and their status as full-time versus contractor. The settlement was first announced in August, though this is the first time we're hearing about the monetary terms."We're pleased to have a proposed settlement to fully resolve the class action lawsuit," a spokesperson for Riot said. "The settlement is another important step forward, and demonstrates our commitment to living up to our values and to making Riot an inclusive environment for the industry's best talent."Riot and the plaintiffs who brought forward the class-action lawsuit have agreed to the terms, but a judge still needs to finalize and approve the deal before payments go out. Other terms of the settlement are unknown. An August 2018 expose from Kotaku's Cecilia D'Anastasio contained numerous serious and dramatic accusations about the "bro culture" within Riot. Among the details was that managers were said to have had lists where they ranked women by attractiveness. In August this year, when the settlement was first announced, Riot maintained that it doesn't have systemic issues related to gender discrimination, though it did acknowledge that the workplace environment was less than ideal."After extensively reviewing these issues, we can confidently state that gender discrimination (in pay or promotion), sexual harassment, and retaliation are not systemic issues at Riot," the company said. "But, what we also learned during this process was that some Rioters have had experiences that did not live up to our values or culture. In addition, we've encountered considerable fatigue among Rioters, who have been drained by constant engagement with the internal and external dialogues emerging from these lawsuits and recurring media cycles."The new settlement filing includes language that speaks to Riot's commitment to bettering its internal company culture. According to the Times, this includes improving programs for sexual harassment reporting and discrimination. New measures have also been undertaken for hiring, pay, and promotion practices. Additionally, Riot has hired a chief diversity officer and launched new internal employee committees to measure Riot's progress on these fronts.Riot is owned by Chinese internet giant Tencent. The free-to-play MOBA reportedly brings in billions of dollars in revenue every year. Info from Gamespot.com

Despite not having the incredible duo of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey (like it did in 2017) or Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (which headlined 2018 despite in release in December), Nintendo has had a rock-solid year. Among the company's first-party efforts are Pokemon Sword and Shield, Super Mario Maker 2, Luigi's Mansion 3, and, of course, a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, which is having its fair share of Cyber Monday deals today. What's fascinating about Link's Awakening on Switch is that it's a full remake of the original, accurately recreating locations, dungeons, and boss battles with a new visual style. This game not only offers a nostalgic revisit for long-time fans, but it's also a stellar way for recent newcomers to experience one of the series' finest entries. The Zelda remake earned an impressive 8/10 in GameSpot's Link's Awakening review."If you haven't touched a classic Zelda game in a while, Link's Awakening will almost instantly transport you back to the '90s," wrote Peter Brown. "It's simple, in many ways, but the orchestrated journey still conveys a sense of adventure, and this new version is without question the best way to experience it. And more than anything else, it will put a smile on your face. Remakes are a dime a dozen nowadays and often easy to overlook. Don't make that mistake with Link's Awakening."Link's Awakening (Nintendo Switch) - Best deals for Cyber MondayBest Cyber Monday 2019 deals on Link's AwakeningBest Switch game dealsAs a first-party Switch game that released just a few months ago, Link's Awakening deals are still few and far between. That said, you can still find the game for little over $10 off its original launch price of $60. The best deal is currently at Ebay, where you can get a brand-new copy with free shipping for $47. See at Ebay Rakuten - $49Amazon -- $49Walmart - $49Link's Awakening AmiiboBest Amiibo deal - $16To coincide with the release of Link's Awakening on Switch, Nintendo also released a new Amiibo modeled after Link's appearance in-game--and it's downright adorable. This iteration of Link can be a bit hard to find online, but you can currently find it for $16 at GameStop. For comparison, it's out of stock at Amazon. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare expands in a major way this week with the release of the military shooter's Season One of extra content. This includes new maps, weapons, modes, cosmetics, and more. Activision has now released a new trailer hyping it up, and it looks impressive.Season One represents what Activision is calling the "biggest drop of free content in Call of Duty history." There are a number of hotly anticipated inclusions such as a remake of the famous multiplayer map Crash. Check out the trailer below to see a glimpse of the new content. The new Modern Warfare breaks from the series tradition of charging for post-release content with map packs and other extras. In Modern Warfare, all of this is free. The Season One launch on December 3 also marks the beginning of the game's first Fortnite-style Battle Pass, which includes more than 100 tiers to progress through to unlock new cosmetic gear and more.Activision has not shared monetization details yet, but it's expected to work similarly to Fortnite where players can spend real money to speed up their progress through the tiers. Check back with GameSpot on December 3 to see a breakdown of the game's microtransaction offerings. You can see a rundown of what's included in Modern Warfare Season One below, but note that not all of the content will be available at launch.Modern Warfare Season 1 Free Content (written by Activision):Crash (Multiplayer Map): The iconic Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare map has returned with all the flanking routes and action-packed rooftop encounters you remember.Vacant (Multiplayer Map): An abandoned office, previously visited in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, leads to intense interior combat across the complex.Shipment (Multiplayer and Gunfight Map): The classic Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare map where fast and frenetic action reigns supreme.Port (Ground War Map): Battle across massive shipping crates, cranes, buildings and streets in this unique Ground War map experience.Cargo (Gunfight Map): An open-roof storage vessel for shipping containers, on docks of London.Atrium (Gunfight Map): The centerpiece of a Verdansk palace, still intact despite the conflict raging nearby.Additional Maps: Look for additional multiplayer maps as Season 1 progresses.Reinforce (Multiplayer Mode): A hybrid of Dom and S&D, a single-life mode with both teams competing for control of three flags. On Site Procurement (O.S.P.) (Gunfight Mode): A tactically rich 2v2 mode with a twist: Begin with just your fists, and gather equipment as the match progresses.Infected (Multiplayer Mode): It’s hunt or be hunted in this survival party game mode!Additional Modes: Look for more modes as Season 1 continues.Bomb Squad (Special Ops Experience): Forces still loyal to Barkov have planted explosives around the city of Al-Raab. You’re here to defuse the situation.Grounded (Special Ops Experience): Enemies have seized Barkov’s former airbase. Engage and eliminate them.Pitch Black (Special Ops Experience): Infiltrate Barkov’s former estate and recover all required intel before an exfill in a Tactical Rover.Just Reward (Special Ops Experience): Your squad targets the head of an enemy financial operation, hacking his data centers, and gaining intel.Additional Content: Look for more Special Ops content as Season 1 continues. If you're in the market for a Nintendo Switch this holiday season, you can secure a new Switch Lite model and save a little dough in the process. A Cyber Monday deal on Ebay has the Switch Lite for $180.This is almost the lowest price we've seen on a brand new Switch Lite, second only to a similar Black Friday deal that sold out rather quickly. That means this one may be gone quickly too, so you may want to jump on it quickly. Only the Yellow and Gray color options are available, as Turquoise is already listed as sold out. It comes with free shipping as well.Nintendo Switch Lite Cyber Monday deal - $180Nintendo Switch Lite | $180 ($200) See at Ebay This is the Switch Lite, so it trades the docking function that gives the system its name and detachable controllers for a slimmer, uniform body design. Untitled Goose Game has been a huge viral success since its release, crossing over and becoming an enormous mainstream sensation while also topping the sales charts on Switch. In Australia, it has outsold The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening on the Switch eShop regularly after launching in the same week. Now, the creators of the game have released merch for fans hungry for more goose in their lives.Untitled Goose Shop!! has launched with a small range or merchandise, including four shirts, some goose socks, and a gift card featuring a download code for the game on Switch. The socks cost $20, the tshirts are $25 each, and the long sleeved shirt is $30. International shipping is available on all items, although the gift cards are only redeemable on the eShops for the US, Canada, or Mexico. All clothing items are pictured below.According to Cabel Sasser, one of the game's executive producers, anyone looking to buy any of these items before Christmas should act fast; if they sell out now, new stock won't be available until the new year.(Also, if I may, order soon-ish for Christmas delivery. If an item goes out of stock, reprints won't arrive until after Christmas, sometime in January.) — Cabel (@cabel) December 2, 2019Untitled Goose Game received an 8/10 in our review, in which we described it as "a comedy game that focuses on making the act of playing it funny, rather than simply being a game that features jokes." It launched first on Switch because it felt like the right "emotional fit" for the game, but it will eventually come to PS4, Xbox One, and maybe mobile as well.Info from Gamespot.com
