New posters and the first scene from Warner Bros.' upcoming Harley Quinn movie--full title Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)--has made its official debut, according to reports out of Comic Con Experience in Brazil. Beyond the Birds of Prey trailer that debuted back in October, and the short teaser that preceded it, this is the first public footage that's been seen of the movie--and unfortunately, it doesn't look like WB will be releasing it online right away, so we'll have to rely on the accounts of Brazil Comic Con attendees to find out what happened in it.The scene features Harley Quinn explaining the status of her relationship with the Joker, The Wrap reports. “We broke up,” Quinn says. “Mr. J was super broke up about it.” She adds that she has a new place that's all her own, where she can reflect on her past mistakes--presumably indicating she regrets shacking up with "Mr. J" in the first place. The title of the movie has the word "emancipation" in it, after all, which is not a term you'd generally use for an amicable breakup.During the panel, star Margot Robbie reportedly revealed that she initially pitched the idea for Birds of Prey while filming Suicide Squad because she "wanted to see more female ensembles onscreen."Speaking of Suicide Squad, let's not forget that there's a new one in the works--though whatever you do, don't call it Suicide Squad 2. Fortnite Chapter 2's Week 9 challenges are now live on all platforms. As usual, if you complete eight tasks from the set, you'll unlock a special loading screen that features a subtle clue pointing you to a secret item that's hidden somewhere around the game's map.Up to this point, that item was a different letter that ultimately spelled out "FORTNITE," but now that all the letters are available, this week's loading screen leads you to an XP drop, which is essentially like the secret Battle Stars from past seasons. If you need help tracking down the XP drop, we show you where it's located below.Where Is The Hidden XP Drop Location? As previously mentioned, the clue that'll guide you to the XP drop is hidden in the Chaos Rising loading screen, which you'll unlock after completing eight challenges from that set. The loading screen features a character gazing at different monitors. Look closely at the monitor in the middle of the image and you'll see the XP drop beneath the infamous purple cube that appeared way back in Season 5.As it turns out, there's a statue of the purple cube in the Kevolution Energy Plant, which is located in the northeastern portion of Steamy Stacks--that's where you'll need to go to find the hidden XP drop. We've marked the location of the area on the map below.Fortnite hidden XP Drop location How To Complete The Challenge Now that we know where the XP drop is hidden, make your way to the aforementioned Kevolution Energy Plant and the drop will appear on the ground near the cube statue, just as the loading screen teased. Interact with it as you would any other item to collect it and complete the challenge. As was the case with this season's hidden letters, however, the XP drop won't appear on the map until you've unlocked the Chaos Rising loading screen and its corresponding challenge, so you'll first need to complete this week's other missions before you can go pick it up.The first season of Fortnite Chapter 2 was originally slated to end this month, but Epic recently announced it would be extending the season into February 2020. It's still unclear if that means we still have more weekly challenges to look forward to, but in the meantime, you can find maps and guides for this season's previous missions in our Fortnite Chapter 2 challenges roundup. PlayStation recently turned 25 years old, and the industry is looking back on Sony's consoles and the legacy they have created. Some developers that have worked with PlayStation for years are also looking towards the future. In an interview with The Verge, Naughty Dog president Evan Wells has talked about his history in the industry, but has also discussed how the PlayStation 5 will be different from what has come before.Naughty Dog's history with PlayStation stretches back to the first console, and it is responsible for series like Crash Bandicoot, Jak & Daxter, Uncharted, and The Last of Us. Wells, who joined the studio after being impressed by the original Crash Bandicoot, reflects on how the PlayStation 2 was an "enormous leap" from the original, and how games now "require massive teams and lengthy development cycles." Talking about the distinction between the first PlayStation and the PlayStation 4, Wells says "they’re barely recognizable as the same product."Wells goes on to talk about the PlayStation 5, and what he sees as the major change it will introduce for players. "I think it will allow us to deliver the content in a way that has no friction for the players,” he told The Verge. "They’ll never have to wait to dive back into their games." This seems to be in reference to the system's solid state drive, which will allow for much faster loading.Naughty Dog's next game, The Last of Us Part II, will release for PlayStation 4 on May 29, 2020. It will feature much wider environments than the first game, as well as an expanded upgrade system.Info from Gamespot.com

The first trailer for the next James Bond movie, No Time To Die, was recently released, building up the hype for Bond's return after five years away. The cast and crew have all been sworn to a level of secrecy about the project, but in a new interview with Good Morning America, embedded below, we've gotten a few slim details about what to expect. The video features stars Daniel Craig, Rami Malek, Léa Seydoux, and Lashana Lynch, as well as director Cary Joji Fukunaga, and contains a lot of half-answers from actors who have obviously signed NDAs.According to Craig, who infamously said right after filming Spectre that he'd rather "slash his wrists" than play Bond again, seems more at peace with the role now, saying of the film-making process on this one that the "biggest surprise was how much (he) enjoyed it." Malek, asked about the mask his character wears in the film, says "I can tell you nothing," but gave some minor insight into his villain: "it's a very formidable, nasty human being. I can't say much."Lyshanna Lynch describes her character as a "00 agent," but interestingly stops short of referring to her as 007, despite reports suggesting that her character will have adopted the 007 title from Bond. It's clear that she cannot talk about any potential future she might or might not have with the franchise. She also says that Craig, who broke his ankle during filming, is her favorite Bond ever.Asked to sum up the movie in one word, which most of the cast was unable to do, Malek takes the opportunity to offer several more words explaining why he thinks the film will stand out. "I'll say this: they're all incredibly memorable films, but this one's especially emotional, and significantly memorable for a number of reasons." He also praises Craig, turning to him and saying "you are as timeless as these films are."Daniel Craig, for his part, manages to sum the film up in one word: "difficult."No Time To Die releases in cinemas on April 2, 2020. Here's everything we know about the movie thus far.Info from Gamespot.com

Borderlands 3 is getting its first paid story DLC soon, with Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot due to release on December 19 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It will send you into a massive casino formerly owned by Handsome Jack, the antagonist of Borderlands 2, to pull off a heist while also fending away the various patrons who have been trapped there in the years after his death seven years prior. The official Borderlands YouTube account has uploaded a video of the first 13-odd minutes after you enter the casino, showing what to expect when your vault hunter stages their own heist later this month. It's embedded below. The footage sees the return of Handsome Jack, albeit in talking hologram form. Naturally, there's also a whole heap of combat within moments of the DLC starting. As it turns out, you're there to snatch the casino because Jack promised to bankroll Moxxi's own den of gambling when they were an item--so this will be, on some level, a revenge narrative.Borderlands 3 has received several free updates since it launched. This DLC is part of the game's paid season pass, and is the first of four campaign DLC packages. Info from Gamespot.com

PlayStation's final State of Play of 2019 airs on Tuesday, December 10 at 6:00 AM PT/9:00 AM ET/2:00 PM GMT. You can watch it live on Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook.Sony is promising around 20 minutes of new game reveals, release date announcements, new gameplay footage, and more. Just don't expect anything related to the company's next-gen plans--it says it's staying tight-lipped for now.Artwork for a Resident Evil 3 Remake has already leaked on the PlayStation Network, so it would make sense for Capcom's latest to appear officially during next week's State of Play, perhaps with a release date attached. We already know PS4 exclusives The Last of Us Part II and Final Fantasy VII Remake are launching in 2020, but Ghost of Tsushima is less certain. Fans have been clamouring for more from Sucker Punch's samurai action game since it was revealed at E3 2018, so many will be waiting with bated breath to see if it reemerges during the final State of Play of the year. State of Play News PlayStation State Of Play: Sony Livestream Start Time PlayStation's Final State Of Play Of 2019 Promises New Game Reveals The timing of this latest episode is curious, though, considering The Game Awards airs a couple of days later on December 12. The annual show is known for its big announcements, and the 2019 edition is set to reveal 10 new games/projects between handing out all of the awards. Show organiser Geoff Keighley says none of the 10 have leaked yet. This rules out the Resident Evil 3 Remake, and it seems unlikely there will be any crossover in reveals between the two shows. Either way, next week should be exciting as 2020's release lineup begins to form.Info from Gamespot.com

This will be Yan's second movie, following her acclaimed 2018 drama Dead Pigs, and she is the first Asian woman to helm a US superhero movie. In an interview with Deadline, Yan spoke about why she was the right person for the job. "I immediately loved the script and it felt like something I could really do," she said. "It felt very much like my own voice. Call of Duty Mobile had a strong start, and new estimates from a mobile tracking firm show its momentum has slowed but it's still doing very well for itself. Sensor Tower says that in its first two months, it has hit more than 172 million downloads and generated almost $87 million in global player spending. This represents a slowdown from its explosive launch, which hit 100 million in the first week alone, and about 148 million in its first month. This means it got about an additional 20 million downloads in November. November also added another $31 million in revenue. Sensor Tower says this is as compared to $55 million in October, which suggests that the decline in new downloads hasn't led to a proportional slowdown in revenue. The tracker also broke down some of the numbers further. The game is most popular in the US, where it has gotten about 17% of total worldwide downloads. That's followed by India (10%) and Brazil (7%). The US is also home to most of the revenue generated (42%), followed by Japan (13%) and Great Britain (3%). The App Store also accounted for the lion's share of revenue (59%) compared to Google Play ($41%).Apple recently announced its most downloaded iPhone games of 2019, and surprisingly it wasn't Call of Duty Mobile. Instead, it was Nintendo's own Mario Kart Tour. Call of Duty did make the top five, however."Beyond its messy microtransaction menus and the slight time-saving purchases, there's not much else in Call of Duty Mobile that detracts from its faithful recreation of the exhilarating and fast-paced multiplayer action of the core series," Alessandro Barbosa wrote in GameSpot's Call of Duty Mobile review. "It's flexible and easy-to-use control scheme mitigates the lack of controller support, and its celebration of the best modes and maps the Black Ops and Modern Warfare series have produced makes it a pleasure to line up game after game." Phoenix Point, the XCOM-esque strategy game from Snapshot Games, has been delayed on Xbox Game Pass for PC for the foreseeable future. The title was supposed to release on December 3, the same day it successfully launched on the Epic Games Store, but it's still absent.Snapshot Games has now announced a delay, attributing the Game Pass no-show to a few issues, including Microsoft's certification process. "We know that some of you are waiting for our release on Microsoft Xbox Game Pass for PC and the Microsoft Windows Store," a statement on the developer's official forums says. "We want to update you on the status of that."The fact is we dropped the ball. We were exceedingly busy getting the game itself ready, and being inexperienced with Game Pass and the Microsoft Store, we simply had not properly prepared the groundwork to get the game released on time on these platforms. Compared to other platforms we’re on these platforms require a number of pre-requisites, from Microsoft certification to legal documentation review. While these are now mostly complete, they have given rise to a number of new delays."Specifically, we are currently unable to make the same content available on Microsoft's platform that is available to players on other platforms. Since we want to make sure all players have access to all versions of Phoenix Point regardless of where they choose to play, we need to get this working before we can release."This issue was not anticipated by us and has caused unexpected delay over and above our delay waiting for certification. We had hoped to have Game Pass players, at least, up and running today, but it now seems like there will be further delays. We do not have an ETA for Phoenix Point on Game Pass or the Windows Store yet. Please know we are working as hard and as quickly as possible with our partners at Microsoft to resolve these issues and will keep you informed."First announced in 2016, the spiritual successor to XCOM was successfully funded via Fig, and was initially set to launch in 2018 before a delay pushed it back to July 2019. That eventually changed to September and then December, where it's now available to buy on the Epic Games Store. An Xbox One release of Phoenix Point is due in early 2020, with a PlayStation 4 version to follow at a later date.Info from Gamespot.com

Todd Phillips' chart-topping Joker is getting a second wind before the holiday blockbusters takeover. It crossed $96 million after opening on October 4 and made a little over $1 billion worldwide to date. With an estimated budget of $70 million, Joker has become the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time and the most profitable comic book movie in history. While Phillips has said there are currently no plans for a sequel, he clarified he will do "anything Joaquin wants to do."We gave Joker an "Essential" rating in our review, saying, "Joker succeeds, without equivocation, because it transforms the villain into the populist antihero we need him to be now. Joker wears its influences on its maroon sleeves, but it also carves its own gashes through the blood-soaked landscape of contemporary comic book movies, offering something that, despite teetering on the shoulders of 80 years of history, is wonderfully fresh, dangerously exciting, undeniably entertaining, and rock-solid in its artistry. It might make you uncomfortable, and it will no doubt stay with you long after the curtains close; great movies often do." If you've ever wondered what a Pokemon game would look like as an MMO, cast your gaze no further than the upcoming TemTem. Developed by Madrid-based studio Crema and published by Humble Bundle, TemTem takes the familiar creature catching and battling of Pokemon and sets it in a shared online world--and now it has a new trailer. The Pokemon influence is clear as day, and Crema isn't shying away from the obvious comparisons. The Steam store page for TemTem even says that it's a "massively multiplayer creature-collection adventure inspired by Pokemon." Yet the MMO aspects differentiate TemTem enough that it's much more than just a simple clone. There will initially be 76 TemTems to catch."Every kid dreams about becoming a Temtem tamer," the game's description explains. "Exploring the six islands of the Airborne Archipelago, discovering new species, and making good friends along the way. Now it's your turn to embark on an epic adventure and make those dreams come true."You'll be able to team up with other TemTem trainers and play the entire campaign cooperatively, battle against others in competitive matches, buy and decorate your own house, and customise your character to stand out from the crowd.TemTem is initially launching on Steam Early Access on January 21, 2020. Those who purchase it at this early stage will gain access to three islands to explore, 76 TemTems to catch, and a 20-hour campaign. Crema will expand on each of these areas as the months roll by, and also has plans to release TemTem on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch at a later date.Info from Gamespot.com
