Pokemon Home is live on Nintendo Switch and mobile devices, which means you can now transfer Pokemon from Bank to Sword and Shield (if you have a paid premium plan). While not every old Pokemon can be brought over into the Gen 8 games, a few more non-Galar-native monsters can now be added to your collection, including a handful of Legendaries.35 Pokemon that weren't previously obtainable in Sword and Shield can be transferred into the titles from Pokemon Home. These include the other two starters from Pokemon Red and Blue--Bulbasaur and Squirtle--as well as the three starter Pokemon from Sun and Moon: Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio. On top of that, a few Legendaries and Mythical Pokemon can be brought into Sword and Shield via Pokemon Home, including Mewtwo, Celebi, Jirachi, and Meltan. Reigning UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones made headlines recently when he pondered a future in WWE, once he's done with MMA. "I think it’s inevitable," he told Sports Illustrated. "I've always respected WWE, and I feel like the sports can be so similar."Should that come to pass, it sounds like he will be met with open arms by some within the wrestling company. While promoting the news that Wrestlemania 37 would be coming to the brand new SoFi Stadium in California, WWE superstar Roman Reigns had plenty of say about the potential of Jones becoming a professional wrestler."He's definitely got tools. I mean, there's no doubt he's a bad man, no doubt," Reigns told GameSpot and a small group of other press during the event. "But obviously what we do is a little bit different than the octagon. And it's going to be a different travel schedule and different demands. But I definitely think he's got a great name. He's got a great work ethic. And he had a great, huge career still going in MMA. So I would absolutely say keep your eye on the ball from now, Jon. Don't worry about WWE. But I definitely think there could be a future for him if he can put in the time and transition and develop the skills that we use."Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

A battle royale mode is all but surely coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, as the Season 2 opening cinematic strongly suggested it's on the way. Now, more evidence for this has emerged. As Charlie Intel reports, multiple players have glitched into the menu for a new mode called "Warzone," which is presumably the name of the battle royale mode.Images from the menu show options for Weapons, Operators, and Barracks, while a page for "Drop Kits" that you can edit before matches has also popped up. Additionally, people have claimed to be able to see the new battle royale map by various and unconfirmed means. A video of the entire rumored map has also been posted online. The Modern Warfare Season 2 update added a new "Classified" page to the game's title screen; this is believed to be the placeholder for the Warzone battle royale mode. While these latest details seem to be legitimate, Infinity Ward has yet to make any official announcements outside of the teaser. You can re-watch this teaser in the video embed above.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

On last week's call with investors, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon re-emphasized his commitment to maintaining WWE's PG rating. When asked if AEW would encourage WWE's creative team to create edgier, more explicit content, McMahon said the following:"AEW has not changed [WWE's] content at all because it's all about our characters, the storylines, and resolutions. We don't need more edgy content, as you call it. We're one of the few programs out there that really is PG."Shayna Baszler bit Becky Lynch on the neck and then posed with blood dripping out of her mouth on the February 10 episode of Raw. The so-called "Nintendo Play Station" console, which was a fable system and the subject of video game lore, is now available to buy on an auction site. The website Heritage Auctions has listed the Nintendo PlayStation console, and this is said to be the first time one of the units has been available at a public auction. Only 200 of these were ever made, and some or all of the other units were reportedly destroyed, but not this one.The folks at Heritage Auctions say the console operates normally, and they played a few rounds of Mortal Kombat on it as a test. It's now up for auction, and the current highest bid is 13,000. You can bid in increments of $500, and also bear in mind there is a 20 percent "buyer's premium" attached, so $13,500 becomes $15,600, and so on.The Only Known Nintendo PlayStation Is Up For Auction - Here's Its Story: https://t.co/AGeVBlyTMU | The auction will commence on March 5, with bidding beginning on Valentine's Day! #Nintendo #retrogamer #retrogaming #videogaming — Heritage Auctions (@HeritageAuction) January 14, 2020"By far, this is arguably one of the most notorious, mysterious, and controversial artifacts of the video game industry," reads the auction description. The Division 2: Warlords of New York is the online looter-shooter's first major expansion, bringing the largest batch of content since its debut last year. Taking players back to New York City, the setting of the original game, you'll be able to face off against some familiar foes, while uncovering new events that will set the stage for what's to come in the year ahead for The Division 2.Revealed during a developer livestream, Warlords of New York will mark the beginning of a new era for The Division 2, and with that comes changes to some of the more in-depth mechanics of the game, including loot, leveling, and actual player exploration. Before the reveal, we went hands-on with the game to see just what was in store for returning players and newcomers alike. There was a lot to take in, so as a quick refresher, here's a breakdown of what's to come with Warlords of New York. What's new in the expansion?Warlords of New York will bring players back to Manhattan, eight months after the initial outbreak from the first game. Set in Lower Manhattan, an unexplored space from the first game, you'll take on a squad of rogue agents led by Aaron Keener, a returning villain from the original. In addition to fighting against old-faction like the Cleaners and the Rikers, you'll also take on Keener's squad of agents, all of whom use powerful Division tech, such as a decoy hologram and the Sticky Bombs. Over the course of the new campaign, you'll travel to various districts of Lower Manhattan, which includes Battery Park, Twin Bridges, Civic Center, and the Financial District. Along with additional side-activities, you can also find new missions to take on after finishing the main story, opening up new end-game content in New York and in D.C.In addition to the new story and setting, Warlords of New York will usher in a revised gear and power growth systems. With a new level cap of 40, the gear system and its interface have been tweaked, keeping some of the more inconsequential stats under the hood. Loot has been changed to include more types of gear, including the elusive "god-rolls". Furthermore, the skill and leveling systems have also seen some changes. Along with an endgame leveling system, akin to Diablo III's Paragon mechanics, the skill and character archetypes have been overhauled to encourage more diversity with builds. How do I play?Warlords of New York is a stand-alone expansion priced at $30 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Later in March, Google Stadia will get the expansion as well. For current owners of the game, you can purchase the expansion when it launches on March 3. For newcomers, you can get the new $40 standard edition of the game, which includes the base campaign and the Warlords expansion. If you want the complete Year 1 Division 2 experience, then the $60 ultimate edition features the base game, the upcoming expansion, and all year 1 DLC missions and bonus specializations. How can new players get to the expansion? For newcomers to The Division 2, you'll be able to dive right into the expansion as soon as you start up the game. Upon creating your character, you have the option to boost your new character up to level 30 and jump straight into the Warlords campaign with a preset inventory and skills. From there, you can jump straight into the new quests and environment. After completing the expansion's story, you can journey to D.C and continue with the existing content. One of the biggest casualties of Universal's failed Dark Universe franchise was a new version of the horror classic Bride of Frankenstein. The film was set to be the second in the studio's series of classic monster movie reboots, but the failure of The Mummy quickly killed off the whole enterprise. But it has now been reported that a new version of Bride of Frankenstein might still happen.According to Variety, producer Amy Pascal is looking to get Bride of Frankenstein off the ground at Universal. While the Dark Universe is dead (apart from its two-tweet Twitter account), the studio is still looking to make films based on its monster movie properties. The site states that Pascal moved from Sony to Universal last year, and Bride of Frankenstein is one of the projects she is hoping to get into production there. Jurassic Park writer David Koepp and Spider-Man director Sam Raimi are among the talent that she has approached so far about the project. The big difference between the films that were planned as part of Dark Universe and the newer projects is budget and tone. A new version of The Invisible Man hits theaters later this month, and that has a far more modest budget than the hugely expensive The Mummy. In addition, The Invisible Man is a scary new version from Saw co-creator Leigh Whannell and producers Blumhouse, while The Mummy was an action-focused Tom Cruise vehicle. What this means for a potential new version of Bride of Frankenstein is unknown, as the Dark Universe version had two big stars (Angelina Jolie and Javier Bardem) attached, as well as a high-profile director (Beauty & The Beast's Bill Condon) on board. While Variety's sources state that Jolie has remained interested in the project, it also notes that there was a public falling out between Jolie and Pascal, following revelations contained in 2014 Sony cyber-attack.Other Universal monster movies currently in development include The Invisible Woman, to be directed by Elizabeth Banks, and Dark Army, which has Bridesmaids director Paul Feig attached. Square Enix has put out a reveal trailer for Outriders, an upcoming sci-fi looter shooter coming holiday 2020. Developed by People Can Fly, a Polish game studio noted for their work on fast, frantic shooters like Bulletstorm and Painkiller, the game follows a ragtag group of "Outriders" that wield big guns and strange powers in a bid to save humanity."It's incredibly exciting to finally reveal what we have been working on for the last four years," said Bartek Kmita, Game Director at People Can Fly. "Outriders is our first game since leaving Epic Games, and has grown from an idea of the game we always wanted to make, to the most ambitious project People Can Fly has ever undertaken."Outriders is one of the first games to be confirmed for the next-gen consoles of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Though both still lack a definite release date, though Outriders' stated window of "holiday 2020" indicates that it might be a launch title. However, we don't know for sure if the next-gen versions of Outriders will be released during that window. We'll know a lot more about Outriders after its gameplay reveal livestream on Thursday at 12 PM Pacific Time. Judging by this trailer, the game shows a lot of influence from popular shooter franchises of today and yesteryear, especially Gears of War and Destiny. People Can Fly hasn't released a solo commercial title since 2013's Gears of War: Judgment, but they did co-develop the lesser-known Save the World portion of Fortnite with Epic Games. There are a lot of games like this on the market today, but they have quite a pedigree with shooters, so this is one project that might be worth following.Info from Gamespot.com

Alongside announcing the upcoming Broken Hearts Day seasonal event, 2K Games and Gearbox Software have detailed its February update plans that include increasing Borderlands 3's level cap and more.In a community love letter, Gearbox broke down a roadmap of features coming to Borderland 3 when the February update goes live on Google Stadia, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. While a release date for the forthcoming patch has yet to be announced, the new additions include upping the level cap from 50 to 53, adding the ability to skip all in-game cutscenes, creating an opt-in/opt-out toggle for seasonal events (starting first with Broken Hearts Day), letting you disable Guardian Rank perks, and more. The February update also makes a few adjustments to True Takedown. The mode will now scale to your party size by default to provide a truly difficult challenge for you and your team of fully decked-out Vault Hunters. You can access True Takedown Mode by activating a lever on the right side of the door leading out of the airlock at the beginning of the map.Fight For Your Life will also see some changes to the interaction radius between players, allowing multiple people to contribute to a revive. This feature, however, is expected to arrive sometime in March. Also coming in March are "sweeping changes" to the looter-shooter's Mayhem Mode. Gearbox didn't provide any more details on what's coming to Mayhem Mode, but the studio said a separate update should clarify how these changes will impact Borderlands 3's endgame in what is being called "Mayhem 2.0."And finally, the last thing planned for March is an upcoming Borderlands 3 ECHOcast Twitch event themed around the Borderlands' alluring bartender Mad Moxxi. An official date for this event has not been announced.2K and Gearbox confirmed that more information on Borderlands 3--and presumably, either the February update or the additions coming in March--will be shared during the Gearbox panel at PAX East on February 27.
