The Epic Games Store's weekly free games are continuing through 2020, and the current batch of free games--Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Aztez--are available now. However, Epic has also revealed what game will take their place next week. The upcoming freebie is Faeria, a turn-based strategy and digital card game, and it will be free to claim starting February 20 at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET. If you've never claimed a free game from Epic, all you need is an account, which is also free to create. After claiming a game, it'll be in your library forever.Faeria is a digital card-collecting strategy game where you build decks and shape the map as you battle, from building forests to filling lakes. The game has over 100 hours of solo content as well as co-op missions and puzzles. There's even a draft mode called Pandora to test your deck-building skills against another player or an AI. Faeria also features an in-game tournament mode and regular esports competitions.In Faeria, all cards can be unlocked through playing the game rather than microtransactions, and all 300 cards can be gained in less than 50 hours. Warner Bros. has announced that it is opening the very first DC heroes themed restaurant in London for anyone who's ever wanted to eat in the Batcave. According to Forbes, the restaurant will be called Park Row after the neighborhood in Gotham home to Batman's most menacing enemies.The restaurant will be in the basement of a building in the heart of London so that visitors can feel as though they are actually entering the Batcave when they come to eat there. It features different areas to eat based on different characters and themes from Caped Crusader's story including a library theme for Batman's butler Alfred, an "old Gotham city" villains theme with a speakeasy vibe, an entire space devoted to Harley Quinn serving sushi, and a "Penguin's Lounge," which is reported to be the largest section complete with live shows and a giant penguin ice sculpture.Each section of the multifaceted restaurant will have a different menu, with prices averaging at $58/£45 per person. Fire Emblem: Three Houses gets its final and biggest piece of expansion pass DLC today, the Cindered Shadows side story. As detailed in the patch notes, this expansion operates as a completely separate campaign from the main quest, with pieces of it filtering in as you progress. But how much time can you expect to put into it?Siliconera reports that on Normal, the new story will take roughly 8-10 hours. It also offers some insights from the developers, via the Japanese magazine Famitsu. One optional side story episode will also add extra post-game content to the main campaign. Also, each of the four new characters can only be recruited in the first part of the main game, but if you do so, they'll remain in your party for the second part. The story of Cindered Shadows revolves around a band of outcast students--Balthus, Hapi, Yuri, and Constance--who call themselves the Ashen Wolves. Their unofficial fourth house has been hiding away in a secret area of the monastery. While Marvel's Avengers has been pushed back a few months, eager fans can pre-order the third-person action-adventure game right now. Valve has announced a release date for Half-Life: Alyx, the VR spin-off and long-awaited return of the Half-Life franchise. Pokemon Go's Sinnoh celebration has ended, but a new event is about to begin. Developer Niantic is kicking off this year's Valentine's Day event starting 8 AM local time tomorrow, February 14, and it'll bring a couple of new Pokemon to the game along with some limited-time Field Research tasks and bonuses.The Valentine's Day event runs until 10 PM local time on February 17. Until then, pink-colored Pokemon such as Chansey and Luvdisc will appear in the wild more often than normal. You'll also be more likely to hatch pink Pokemon from eggs and encounter them as Raid bosses. Developer People Can Fly has turned out two very different shooters: Bulletstorm, which was heavy on creative kills and run-and-gun action, and Gears of War: Judgment, which makes use of that series' cover-based mechanics and slower movement. With its next game, Outriders, People Can Fly is marrying the two approaches, creating a cover shooter that also incentivizes getting out from behind the chest-high walls and wrecking your foes with a number of cool abilities.We recently played the first few hours of Outriders at a preview event for the game in Los Angeles, where we got a taste of the new game. It's not just adding elements of different shooters to the mix, though; Outriders is also heavy on RPG features. The result is a game that feels like Gears meeting Mass Effect, complete with sci-fi story and a whole new planet to explore.Outriders takes its name from a group of military types and scientists who have been doing their best to protect people and save humanity in the last days of Earth. In the game's prologue, you learn that things didn't go so well on our home planet, with dwindling resources and other issues leading to war and chaos. The Outriders were seen as heroes who did their best to help the innocent, but in the end, there was just no saving the planet. At the start of the game, you create an Outrider character who has left Earth and traveled some 80 years in cryostasis to a new planet called Enoch, with plans for colonization.
